The worse part was finding out Jess is retiring. She was so patient and kind when teaching me how to work with my wavy hair. My cut turned out fabulous! I also loved the location. It felt very relaxing and upscale. Every staff member I interacted with was warm and personable.

They are really careful and patient as I try to decide what color I want. I am new to coloring my hair. This is my second time. So both times it was a bit of a shock but I get used to it after a couple weeks and the color fades a bit and is not as drastic after a while. Maybe the third time I will get the color right. A change of one number makes a world of difference from looking golden/reddish blond to almost black. I want a basic flat brown.

Jobi was amazing! I have a difficult time trusting people when it comes to my hair, it was my first time at this salon and let me just say it was a great experience. The staff was super kind and friendly. Jobi was commutative and asked all the right questions to ensure I got the hair cut I wanted, she exceeded my expectations. 10/10 recommend!

I had not cut my hair since covid. It was long and wild. I found Mode Hair online and read all the great reviews. I called first thing in the morning and the girl who answered was super nice. I got in sameday and Celeste was going to be my stylist. She was super helpful and nice. I had no idea what I wanted and after looking at some pictures and her explaining to me about the style I wanted, she went in with the scissors. Absolutely loved the cut and how healthy it feels. 10 out of 10 for Celeste! Going to go back and do some color.

I was not going in for anything but a shirt. I ended up getting my first facial and a product review. I was anxious because of not knowing what to expect, and Michelle was kind, sweet, and compassionate. I was amazed she was only 19. My facial was UNBELIEVABLE and she even massaged longer because I asked. I am forever grateful and I will actually go back for ALL their services again and again. Just WOW!! 5000 stars!!!!!

Daniella was amazing. Did a great consultation before a simple hair cut and did an awesome job. I have very fine hair that never likes to hold any style and always falls to its flat and straight normal shape within less than an hour. After working her magic this morning, at nearly 9pm, I still have great body in my hair. And with only a couple of simple products used. Go see her or any of the stylist there. Thanks to my beautiful stylist for taking the time to learn about me on my first visit. I m a customer for long fe now. Michelle Requested style: Cut and style. Style has held for over 8 hours with only a couple of simple products. My hair normally falls after styling with an hour. Hair type: Very fine, straight. Does not have any body. Hates to hold a style no matter how many products are used

I will start by saying I move often and have to find a new stylist every time. It is a tedious process to look for a new stylist but it must be done. Going into Mode Hair Utopia for the first time, I wasnt sure what to expect, but I am so happy that I did! Everyone there was friendly and kind! I live an hour away in Oklahoma, and had just about given up hope with finding a stylist that could give me the long, beautiful layers I was looking for. Jobi is the one I was looking for! She left my hair with beautiful, fresh layers and an amazing blowout! I will be returning as I trust her expertise when it comes to my styling needs. Thank you!

Today I went to mode to get a money piece, basically a few lighter pieces around my face. She did 2-3 heavy weave foils in the front and then 2 foils on each side. After lightening it, she put a fashion color on it, dried and curled it. They CHARGED ME $155. I tipped $28 and left with paying $183. They charged me for partial highlight, a money piece, and a blow dry and style, which is insane cuz she used a total of 6-7 foils and touched maybe an 1/8 of my hair. I didn t even get a haircut. I m a stylist of over a decade and am very familiar with pricing, and this is not ethical. I was thinking maybe $100, $120 at most. It s unfortunate and I feel totally ripped off. I won t be back. I would make sure to ask what pricing is before starting and then expect to pay way more. Look at my hair picture, would you pay $183? I wish I didn t. Lesson learned. I called the salon when I got home right after realizing how much I paid and supposedly it was the right amount. Update: talked with owner and she still came to the same conclusion. Glad they are making changes on my dime. Doesn t seem like they are willing to work with you at all.

I absolutely love my cut! It took me a while to decide what exactly I wanted and Carley was patient and suggestive the whole time to help me decide. She is a great conversationalist so if youre looking to chat during your service, grab a Chardonnay and book an appointment with Carley! On the contrary, if you want it to be a quiet, relaxing spa day, especially in the shampoo chair (where I like to just close my eyes) she totally respects that too, might I suggest getting one of their lemonade iced teas and add on a scalp treatment! I love Mode!!! The staff are all so incredibly welcoming as soon as you walk through the door. They always ask if I would like something to drink and they even have snacks available too. One of my favorite things about Mode is the scalp massage that they give as part of your shampoo service. It s so relaxing!! I have been seeing Dani for my haircut and style for many years now. I went to this place two times two years ago and am just now talking about it. The first time I went was when I was going full blonde from being a natural brunette. The process took 6 hours but at the end after cutting and dying and making a huge drastic change, the hair stylist that did it told me that she liked me better as a brunette. The second time I went was 6 months later and I had many of the hair stylists tell me that I waited too long to get a root touch up and they only did the outer part of my hair leaving the inner part dark so when it was braided it looked like cookies and creme . Both times I went they were extremely rude and seemed to judge me for my decisions and made me feel really insecure. I remember at the end of the second time I was tearing up while leaving because of how they made me feel. This place made me realize that hair stylists will only do what they want regardless of what you tell them. They also made me nervous to go to any other hair stylists because of my experience with them.

I always come to Mode when I need a quick trim or a new style. Ive been a long time customer and will continue. My teenage daughter also comes for new styles or trims, and the staff always listens to our requests. Excellent customer service and non-pushy stylists; no stylists have ever steered us wrong, talked us into unnecessary products or multiple visits, and cuts/colors are always done with honesty (not it will take $1000 to achieve your look discussions!).

I finally found my tribe at Mode! I have wavy, curly, messy hair and Jessica is truly an expert in all things curly. She cut my hair dry and even did individual curl cuts! I was impressed! She also explains step by step EVERYTHING she is doing from the cut, shampoo, condition and style. She gives so much valuable information that will help you with your type of hair. Worth every penny! I am very picky and hard to please with my hair, but my search is over, Jessica is an amazing hair artist! The rest of the staff are all very friendly and professional as well. Im so happy I found this place :)

This place has the coolest and funnest vibe! Its so nice inside and the staff is so friendly and personable. Ms. Jobi is a miracle worker, absolutely amazing! I have thyroid issues and extremely thin hair that has thinning spots and not to mention I have a duck tail lol. This woman is very attentive to your needs and makes what you think is impossible .possible. Not gunna lie, I was a little apprehensive/skeptical when i initially saw my new hair color, but since I ve been home and had the chance to scrutinize it in privacy after the shock wore off, I absolutely love it. Not only that, but the hair cut and keratin treatment both gave my overall appearance new life, even though the cut was what I typically ask for every time I get it cut! I don t have a before photo for reference, but my hair prior was subject to cheap box dyes, malnutrition, and not being cut for almost a year; my natural hair color is a dusty dark brown, and each time I dyed it at home was an attempt at golden brown. I went in with an idea of the color I wanted, and the Mode team more than delivered. Not only that, but they also tag-teamed processes to help expedite the whole procedure, and explained the differences between certain hair cut styles so I could choose exactly what was right for me. Also also, they consistently asked if I wanted anything (snacks, drinks, a break, etc.) and were super polite and straightforward. AND provided me a cheat sheet for the color I received so I can ask for/refer to it in the future at other salons! I almost regret leaving Wichita so soon (I was only here for school) because I feel like this was the first legit salon experience I ve had in 33 years. Thank you, Michael, Tomas, Bianca, Danielle, and Victoria (oh gosh I hope I didn t miss anyone, seemed like everyone helped in one way or another) for giving me confidence and honestly a whole new outlook on myself
