The chicken box should change their name to everything else except exceptional chicken anymore. This place used to have exceptional chicken. I remember it from when I grew up there. However, the recipe has changed a lot and now they are service so many different items. It is hard for them to actually be great at work. In my professional opinion I think they should just go back to chicken and try to make sure its right before they do anything else. Ive never been to a place where when you order chicken the roll is an extra price that seems a little petty

I was so happy when I heard that this place was open again because I just LOVE their dipped GIZZARDS ! But instead of the full sized dozen of GIZZARDS they NOW CUT EACH ONE IN HALF !! SO now they cut them in half then fry them (making them very hard ) They are no longer meaty at all Its a real shame because they were VERY GOOD BEFORE ! If they would make them as before I would buy them EVERY DAY THAT THEY ARE OPEN !! But as they are now I will NEVER eat there again ! Ive spoken to others who all found them too tough to eat - just so they can double the money on every dozen (actually a half dozen).. I sure wish they would cook them normally like before...

The atmosphere is really chill and laid-back. There is a great variety of American and Korean dishes. The food is decent (i wish they would cook meat a little longer). I must say IF YOU CALL IN A PICK UP ORDER, THEY WONT EVEN COOK YOUR FOOD UNTIL U GET THERE I am so disappointed in their disregard for instructions!! (the whole point of PICK UP ORDER) lastly idk if today was not thier day but i got gizzards that taste stale or old meaning i couldn t bite into them. i called up there for a refund because i never got my banana pudding and the lady tried to argue with me so now i have to take my COVID HAVING SELF UP THERE TOMORROW FOR MY REFUND! never eating here again.

About $3-$6 for fried chicken, it isnt overpriced. Its pretty good quality too. Only complaint is that the chicken comes unseasoned, but I usually do take out, and just put stuff on it at home. They have an option to dip it in some sort of kimchi sauce, but I just get it plain. The frying powder has good flavor. The Korean side of things can be a tad more expensive, but its still pretty good. I have no problem splurging and getting a $10 beef bulgogi once in a while. Two things to note, the drinks are quite big for the price. Its probably cheaper to get a gallon jug of tea at dollar general, so I usually dont get any, but once I did, and I was pleasantly surprised. The banana pudding is pretty good here as well, I sometimes get that too.

I have gone here a few times and my meals have always been good. I had my best meal the last visit I made. I am a big fan of Korean food and always order Korean dish. I enjoyed the meal very much. If you like Korean food I suggest you give it try and try their kimbap...its very good!

Korean options were great. Mandoos were awesome and i could have had a whole meal of just those. Bulgogi spicy pork really tasty could have been spicier imo Bibimbap was good. I would recommend asking if they have an extra gochujang sauce. It needs just a little more flavor than the little container they give you for that much rice.

Probably the worst chicken I ve ever eaten. Restaurant is way over hyped. My tenders tasted like rubber and were so chewy.. probably because they weren t fresh and were sitting under a heating lamp for hours. Fries were so undercooked I threw them away. Service took a long time. Will not be returning. Don t wast your money here. And fast food chicken beats this place any day.

I stopped in for a full order of dipped gizzards. The place looks great however I dont know how long my gizzards had been sitting there before they were served to me. They were terrible to chew. Well the price of chicken has inflated as well. It cost about $1.56 per piece of bird and they look like they came from midget chickens. Plus when you order whitehead they always slip in a pull consisting of mostly bones. The livers and gizzard are so overcooked they look petrified and taste worse. This place just seems like its just one big squeeze on your wallet and they are playing with midget chicken parts and that just makes it worse. For $8 I can buy a whole bird; cut and cook it for the price of a tiny shriveled pully and a even smaller wing. Im gonna pass on their offerings, no matter what the actual flavor is...the Chicken Vox leaves a bad taste in my mouth...

This is not The Chicken Box as you once knew it. New owners. Half our order was cold, they messed up the order by not giving us what was ordered. My husband wanted this for Lunch. So we went i ordered his favorite jalapeno dipped tenders. Oh the big one 12 tenders a side and four rolls. Not to mention me and my two kids food. So well over 40 dollars worth of food. Was disappointed everyone was right except my husband. Tenders were not dipped his side missing and no rolls. Felt bad cause he choose this place and his order was well not what we ordered. Check before you leave. Have not been back since. Oh i did call she took our name and tried to only replace me a 6 tender order but i had to tell her no please replace my hole order the way i ordered it. We dont live in Wichita and i couldnt just bring the order back. Havent went back for our redo yet. But honestly will probably not be going back.

Employees was pleasant, chicken lovers were good. But the dipped gizzards were not at all like they used to be. And the chicken breast was about a third of a breast, plus the chicken fried rice was Gooey, not at all what it should be. Not returning there!
