Delicious grandma style cooking. Waitresses were phenomenal! Dropping my review from 5star to 2 The service we received today was terrible. I really think our waitress forgot about us. Needed refills and no where to be found. 3 other tables with people and another waitress that handled all of them and ours couldnt be bothered. Tall blonde who has been here for ever and should really do better. We wont be back for awhile if at all.

We asked friends for a good breakfast spot as we passed through town and was told to stop here. It was a great tip! The food was perfect, the service was great, and when the locals hang out, you know the atmosphere is good.

The service was awful. We sat down no one waited on us, four people came in behind us and the server had their silverware and menus ready and followed them to the table. I guess you have to be a regular there to get waited on. We will never be back just because of the service alone

We read reviews and were a little concerned. But from our perspective, the food was delicious, the service was very good, and the atmosphere was what you expect. We were there at 8:30 for breakfast on a Friday. It wasnt too busy, amd we had a great meal.

This was the first and last time Ill eat anything from this place, I had the chicken fried steak and eggs to go. The steak and hash brown were so greasy it was literally dripping of of them, and the gravy tasted like burned flour. The only good part of the meal was the biscuit and scramble egg, and thats not saying much.

Best Pancake of my life and sure best pancakes of Texas. Was just traveling pass Wichita Falls,Texas and decided to have breakfast here. The sweet & smooth specific tastes of their home-made Pancake stunned me. It was so good it has been 1 month and I still miss them. Parking is tight but available! The restrooms were clean. The waitress brought me the wrong eggs but fixed it later. The scrambled eggs had a hair. Sausage was cold but yummy. My husbands chicken fried steak was crunchy & delicious.

Was visiting town and looking for a classic diner for breakfast. This place didn t disappoint, felt right at home. Wish we were staying long enough to try the lunch menu. Kid-friendliness: My 3 year old loved the food and atmosphere. We were offered a high chair or booster seat. We didn t get a kids meal because they seemed too small.

Stopped by as we were passing through but unfortunately it was not that good. The service was mediocre at best but the food was not good. We picked at it a bit and left unsatisfied. Even the coffee was weak and sat unfinished. Sadly I would not recommend this place.

Its definitely the best breakfast on this street. (Not saying much! No other choices!) The food was bland and below average in quality. Biscuits werent flaky and the gravy tasted like powdered. The service is the real crime here. After I was seated and received my order, I wasnt talked to again. No offer of coffee refill. I wasnt even asked upon check-out how everything was. Drive to 8th Street Coffee house. Much better quality everything. What makes this more sad is that the owner replied below and denied the things I said. Evidently, if youre not from the area, youre not treated with respect. No one interacted with me after I got my food. Unacceptable!

Just moved here and was looking for a nice breakfast place to eat. My kids were here so I want to treat them to breakfast. It was a very home feel and the service was very nice. I was a li6thrown off to the portion to price. The bisque breakfast I received ( is pictured) was not what I was expecting, way smaller. Just basic. I will go back, just have to be careful to what you order so you get your moneys worth.

Absolutely horrible and I am so surprised this place is still open. I wanted it to be good, it s right down the road from us, and it appeared to be a mom and pop place so we had high hopes. Instead it was horrible. Biscuits taste like they are just re-heated, same with most of the food. The gravy appears to be made to taste like homemade, it was bland and fake tasting. Honestly the entire meal was just horrible .

Great breakfast and lunch place. It was busy when my husband and I went in there (8:30 AM on Tuesday). The staff were very friendly and polite. Our order was what we wanted and the way we like it. Our server did a terrific job and she was working very hard because there were a lot of customers in there. Our food was fresh and delicious. My husband had breakfast and I had a catfish basket with fries and corn. We were also pleasantly surprised by the bill. Our food was reasonably priced and they gave us good portions. I had to take half of it home.

We ordered a bacon omelet with hone fries. The omelet was small and the potatoes were salted so much they couldnt be eaten. I ordered a 4 piece steak finger basket with very well done fries. The steak fingers were tasteless and after sending back the fries because they were limp. They came back nuked and still horrible. My husband ate a double meat burger and tasted like it was cooked ahead of time and placed in some kinda juice. The potatoe chips were pretty. Not pleased at all.
