Womens bathroom reaked of pee!!! The coffee that I ordered was sticky to the touch, and my food was a bit too greasy. Store seemed clean otherwise, and staff were decent. Not terrible but also not the best cracker barrel I have been to . Kid-friendliness: They have coloring pages with crayons, a kids menu and lots of toys and candy in the store.

Sept 15th, 2024, stop in to get a bite to eat, and we were seated within 2 minutes. However, we waited 20 minutes at the table and was not served, not even a glass of water. We left and went over to a restaurant call : Northside Grill and was seated within a minute and we had our first drink within minutes and our order was placed within 2 minutes and they had a full house.

Dont use the call center to place an online order. Its not up to date on the menu of the Cracker Barrel you are placing an orde to. Also the guy could not pronounce the menu items correctly. Mispronouncing every 2nd or 3rd item. Could not even pronounce the city correctly. He had bad reading skills.

This was my favorite place to eat for decades but i will no longer be back. I ate the same meal all of those times everytime. The service was always good. I ordered the beef tips with corn, green beans and biscuits. The corn and green beans were great! The beef tips were chewy and seemed like processed meat. Flavor was good. One biscuit was semi soft and the others were hard but all were warm. Service was great but this is the third time I ve had average food. It used to be much better. If there is a next time, I ll order breakfast.

We were there at 230 in the afternoon and ordered the new skillet cornbread to eat with our dumplings. Waiter came back in a few minutes and said you were sold out for the day. Why would you not make enough of a popular item to last the entire day? Cornbread is not that hard to make. When asked we were told they would not be making more for the dinner rush either.

Went there last Saturday late afternoon with family. Very disappointed at the food. Dont know what was going on. The atmosphere was tense, food low quality compared to other visits. I was told this is an experimental store. Can not get things here provided at other locations. We came in at 8;30 -8:45 pm. NO DECAFE COFFEE. My family has been here 3 times and our server Brian is the absolute best here at this location. When is the last time a server waited for you to cut your steak to make sure it was cooked the way you like it? Come here and get served by Brian and you will be able to answer yes. He cares about his customers and gives the best service I have ever seen. Love his personality too. This man will get you laughing no matter what mood you are in. We will be requesting him every time we come. Plus, the food is fantastic!

Ordered curbside and that was as expected. However the two sides of 4oz country ham we received were definitely not that portion. I run a restaurant and know portion sizes. Uncooked is the 4oz and cooked should have been 3oz. I weighed both pieces due to the tiny size and they were about 1.3 oz each. $6 for that size is ridiculous and unacceptable. Parking: Plenty in front and behind the store.

One of my favorite places in town! Its very rare we ever have a wait but even when we do its never very long. Our most recent visit was fabulous! We were sat immediately and greeted quickly. Our waiter was fantastic. I loved how he spoke to our son directly instead of asking us. It made him feel extra included in dinner and he loved it. The food here is always amazing as is the service.

There was plastic strings in the food we were told from covering the food and placing under heat. It looks like gray hairs, but it was indeed plastic. Not much better than hair. We ate the food and it was alright. Our server was great. The manager came to our table to explain the plastic we found (like 5 different strands), said she would see about it. Never said she was sorry. Why can t ppl ever just say they are sorry. She had an attitude.

Weve eaten at Cracker Barrels all over America and it is always Great,,,,until Wichita Falls, TX on our recent road trip. Wichita Falls Texas Cracker Barrel use to be good food and good service. The last two times the food was not hot and the service was horrible, instead of listening the server tried to out guess what they thought we wanted. The hostess went passed multiple empty seating sections with my husband on a cane with broken ankle walking way behind to put us at far side of restaurant. I had to stop and ask if we could sit closer in one of empty sections. Very disappointing and guest first time in Wichita Falls were disappointed.

Food was not good. Steak and mashed potatoes were cold. Items ordered were forgotten. Service was poor. Just a unforgivable experience all around. I will not be returning to this cracked barrel or any for that matter. Think twice before you eat here. Seriously Food

I love Cracker Barrel. I do not have one near me, so I only get to go when I travel. This location was a let down. Server was polite and quick to get me a beverage and take my order. However, I specifically ordered my eggs scrambled, EXTRA WELL DONE. My eggs were served very under-cooked. The waitress should have checked the order before bringing it to the table. She should have easily seen the eggs were very under-cooked and most definitely not well done. To be clear, yes the cooks made the eggs incorrectly. But, it is her job to make sure the correct order is brought to the table. I was alone, so it is not like she might have gotten my order mixed up with someone else in my party. I have to put this 100% on the waitress. Lastly, I hate to complain in a restaurant. I ate my whole breakfast, but I did not touch the eggs. She did not say a word as to why I did not eat the eggs. Again, poor attention to detail on her part.

Update We dine here often. They food is really good/tasty - and a nice variety on the menu cards. The service is always in top. So the only thing to point out that is subtracting from the overall experience is the dust on different things in the restaurant and dead bugs in the window sill next to where you dine. Definitely still a place to visit and return to. Older reviews: This is a nice Cracker Barrel establishment. The staff is so nice and always polite and attentive. The food choices are good and served fairly quickly after you order the food. If you want to try out a CB place - this should be it. Never a disappointment.
