I have being looking for a restaurant that serves authentic Mexican food and I finally found a place!!! El Mariachi is a little hole in the wall place but when you walk in , you are automatically greeted and made to feel right at home!! The food was superb and sooo delicious! I recommend this to anyone!!

The absolute best place to go to when you are craving the perfect combo of chicken rice and cheese - being from the Midwest this was a staple back home the boyfriend and myself have been missing for the past year. He tried the enchiladas this time around and they were VERYY tasty!!! El Mariach has a special place in our hearts and we will be returning customers! They have a true, traditional Molcajete. And it s awesome, and surprisingly hard to find in DFW. . It s a ton of food, so bring a friend. Good service in a family owned spot. Also, obviously hand made tortillas.

I was craving a molcajete, I saw this place had one on the menu. It was a bit of a drive but wow was it worth it. The service was excellent, they really made me and my family feel welcomed. I just went here for lunch and All I can say is that Ive been missing out for the last two years! Rosie and her daughter Bianca always take great care of me and my guests. I have now been here dozens of times. Ive had more than a dozen items on the menu. Every time they are exceptional. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was clean. The staff was great as well. If you want authentic Mexican food you must come here. Clean restrooms as well. Ive been here numerous times now. Every single thing I get is amazing. Highly recommended.

My buddy and I came in based off other Google reviews and were not disappointed. This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant. The owner took care of us and she was fantastic. The conversation was great and the service was great. I mentioned carne guisada and she said she could make it even though it s not on the menu. It was the best I ve ever had, hands down. My buddy got the entree served in a pineapple. We both tried each others dish and his was incredible as well. I can t forget the guac either, it was fresh and delicious. 10/10 recommend this place.

I was on the hunt for some AUTHENTIC FOOD in my area. I m not a big fan of tex-mex food. I m very happy I found this hidden gem. It s a family owned restaurant and the owner is very sweet and humble. Place is tucked away in strip center, looks small but much roomier inside. They started us off with chips and salsa. Chips taste bland and salsa lacked any kick or flavor. I had rice, beans, Carne Asada and Corn tortillas. Rice a little moist for me beans tasted great the Carne Asada w/onions left me looking for flavor in the grill onions. Overall good friendly service. Wish the food experience had more taste then it did for us.

Food was excellent! I mean it really was some of the best Mexican food Ive ever had! The service however was less than. She came to the table twice the entire time, to take the order and to collect our payments. We had to track her down 3x just to get refills and ask where the rest of our food was. Aside from that, the food was awesome! Hubby ordered the MOLCAJETE and it was amazing!!! I ordered Carne asada dinner, got a huge cut of steak on grilled onions, perfectly seasoned. DELICIOUS. The chips were fresh, salsa was perfectly balanced with heat and flavor. Margaritas on the rocks had enough shots to make your clothes fall off. So this little restaurant opened up, so we gave it a try last night ( Actually, my husband had been there the day before as well), and we will be back! The food was delicious! The husband had the Molcajete, and I had the Chili Relleno. Beans and rice were good, and the queso was the best Ive ever had! Service is great, and the owner and staff are super friendly! We will be going back soon! Please be mindful that Google doesnt have their business hours noted properly, so you might call before you go. I think they are open until 9 pm most nights and close at 6 on Sunday. Reviews are so important, so try for yourself, spread the word, and help keep this place in business. Yummy!

This was my first visit and my meal was outstanding. I ordered the Pollo Mariachi plate, which is 2 thin chicken breasts accompanied with typical fajita vegetables as well as mushrooms, and topped with white cheese. I groaned with the first bite, the flavors were wonderful. The rice and beans were some of the best I have had. The service was great, and attentive. I don t think you will be disappointed if you try the restaurant.

This place is a hidden gem! It has authentic Mexican food for an extremely good price. A quesadilla plate is only around 10 dollars. 1 taco is 2.80 and a side is 75 cents!! This place places minimal salt and preservatives in their food because its meant to be authentic and freshly cooked, not commercial. Their salsa has an extremely interesting flavor; it has a fruity undertaste with a variety of vegetables as the main taste. The food prep was only around 10 minutes and the waiters did not mess up our orders at all. The restaurant atmosphere was great and I almost felt like I was actually in a Mexican restaurant. The restaurant cleanliness was great! None of the tables really had any crumbs and the floor didnt have any stains or messes. Womens restroom was also very clean, but some maintenance with the sink and ceiling would be good. Overall, this place has good food for a good price. Its also clean and has a great atmosphere. 5/5

Honestly I think this is way too good for anyone to just skimp over. Not adding too much hype because that ruins an experience. Food is good. I ordered the big burrito and that was way too big. I do hope their food cost is under control because I want them to stay in business. That burrito was HUGE I still have half left saved and I m definitely going to eat that half. I avoided the watermelon agua fresca because prior experience but asked for it when I picked up. That did not disappoint. It s partial name of Sabor meaning flavor stands up to it. Glad I tried this local restaurant. I do recommend giving them a shot. And reading prior comments, I do recommend being open and honest on what they can do better or your food particularly the way you want it. They seem like they do want to satisfy their guests. Friendly staff. Food was amazing! Great salsa & chips! Great authentic flavor. The al pastor torta was $9! Wifes chicken salad was huge and very delicious! Quite a bit on the menu. Will be back!

Hidden gem off the main stretch of Rufe Snow. My wife and I really enjoyed our meal this evening. We had the fajitas for two and I can safely say you are not going to leave hungry. This is a great place to eat and Rosie is amazing to talk with. Kudos to her husband for making a killer meal for us. We will be back.

To the point... Good location. Easy to get too. Place is very clean. Staff is VERY friendly and courteous. Food, right now, its ok. Had the enchiladas, not use to having any of them made with flour tortillas. No rice and beans with them, which is odd. Drinks were full with ice and didnt get a refill.

This place is a must try! I am from Chicago and was looking for a Mexican restaurant to eat at during my stay. I looked up restaurants in the area and seen it had 4.5 star rating so I had to try ! Let me tell you , The food and service were spectacular! I Will definitely be back for another one of their famous piña Loca .! My mom ordered the sizzling combo fajitas. Definitely recommended

We didnt like it. Best thing was the chips and salsa. Other than that...yuck. I dont know what it is that they are calling refried beans but it certainly is not..worst Ive ever had. Rice had no flavor, beef too salty, guacamole not good. Dont waste your time or money. Go either way up or down rufe snow and youll get better Mexican food.

Was really looking forward to trying this place after reading the great reviews, but the customer service was so non-existent, after a couple of minutes we decided to just leave. No acknowledgment when we walked in the door, no acknowledgement when we grabbed a menu, no acknowledgement when we got up to leave. They obviously did not want our business, so we won t be back. Too bad because we love Mexican food.
