Shoutout to Sydney G. on her customer service. We had a bit of a wait and we were tempted to leave until Sydney asked if we needed help. We ordered and she was quick and attentive. The place was busy with multiple parties and she was hosting two of those parties but never dropped the ball with us. Thank you for your service.

I dont know whats going on but most of the chain restaurants Ive been to lately are serving steaks that appear nice and pink in the middle but all of them have been extremely dry. The stakes also have a texture that is not appealing and when you chew it reflects the low quality of meat that it is. Although Ive not had any terrible service, it also has not been great. Although this is a review for Longhorn and reflects the service I did receive, this review could easily be shared on many of the other chain steakhouses page. It is obvious the quality of meat has gone down and when you start sacrificing quality in one area it will always bleed into another. Increase the quality of the food and Im sure the wait staff will increase the quality of their service. Very difficult to get good tips with people or not satisfied with their food. Its also very hard for waste staff to be excited to go to work knowing theyre not getting good tips. Everything affects another, so everything needs to be great.

I rarely leave reviews, but when I do, they are mainly focused on the food. This time, I decided to leave a review because of the fantastic customer service, mainly from the manager Daniel. I had a small issue, that was quickly resolved. I live in the Pharr area, but travel to Weslaco because this is my favorite Longhorn Steakhouse. I will continue to go here with my family because of the fantastic food, and especially the service. Thank you Daniel for the amazing customer service! Great management and leadership skills like yours don t come across often. Thank you again.

Something to be said about a steakhouse that doesnt have a wait list for dinner service on a Saturday night. Food quality does not reflect the pricing. Steaks were severely undercooked and the baked potatoes were so over cooked there was no moisture content left in them. We ordered an appetizer that never arrived, we received the wrong drinks and the wrong salads. The entire time our server seem more preoccupied with entertaining a party of 6 seated next to us instead of actually provided a service. Every time we called him out on something he always gave us an excuse. Nothing was ever his fault and as he repeated several times, he just, didnt know what happened. Overall it was just a terrible meal and an even worse dining experience. Definitely wont be coming back.

This was such a horrible dinning experience. We totally regret our decision to go to Longhorn Steakhouse and not wait in line at Texas Roadhouse. The salad was wilted and brown. Had to send it back. The baked potato was cold and silver looking. You could tell it was old and had just been sitting there. I sent it back three times ans each time they sent me the same baked potato but just microwaved. The Mac and Cheese was cold. At that point I was over it and didnt even send it back for fear they would do something to it. Our sever never checked on us. Horrible horrible experience. The food is not cheap and I expect better for the price. We have food choices and I the future Ill choose to wait for better quality food. So disappointing.

Im greatly disappointed with this establishment. My husband and I have come 3 days in a row and have been treated unkindly by the staff. I know this is a fancy place but we dress comfortably (shorts and a shirt). Well we got ignored as soon as we walked in opposed to the other ppl that were dressed nicely. Im not sure if this place has a dress code but we wouldnt be here if we didnt have the money to pay for our food. Its crazy that at this day in age we still get classified by what we wear or look like. If my money isnt good here, its fine just be upfront about it. Plenty of other places we can go eat at.

Last time me and my family will be attending. Told wait will be 10 minutes, waited 20 minutes I ordered chicken fried chicken, which was super salty and crust that just crumbled off! My mashed potatoes tasted like they just reheated out of a box. My broccoli tasted like it was cooked in the microwave and not boiled, it was dry and was burnt! My husband got the Parmesan crusted chicken , it was rubbery as if it wasn t cooked properly, his fries had no seasoning and were hard!

Called ahead for a large party was told 5:30 was a good time to be seated. We were not seated until after 6 because our server hadnt arrived. Our server Andrew, was excellent as a matter of fact he was the only thing about this restaurant that was good. We tried to order the shrimp appetizer...was told they ran out. Ordered overpriced steaks with loaded baked potatoes, but was quickly told they ran out of baked potatoes as well. In addition, the mens bathroom, besides being dirty, had a hole in the wall covered by paper towels. Longhorn is not a place I recommend, save your money!

Main reason for the poor rating is for the cook. We ordered 3 steaks, all medium rare. One arrives completely rare, cold at the center and the other two arrived well done, tough, and dry. Update: A word with the NR Group and Two months later the Chicken Fried Steak is once again top notch at this location. The 12oz Ribeye was done perfectly. Very satisfied this visit! The photo below shows what is called Nolan Ryans Chicken Fried Steak. It was awful! Not only that 1/3 of it was Chicken Fried Chicken! Thats right chicken! WOW!! The real sad part is the steak and chicken were closer to jerky than cutlets. Avoid at all costs! I did inform NRF! Ive eaten here a number of times over the last year. I usually order a ribeye steak and would suggest the larger one on the menu if you prefer a medium rare steak. Ive ordered the smaller one several times and 70% of the time they will over cook it. Sides are ok but quite often served over done as well ( cooked vegetables ). One visit my food was served cold, yes cold! The table next to me as well, cold! They had to re-cook both tables food. They like to sing happy birthday to customers with birthdays. Im guessing that since they muster all available employees to do this the food to serve us was ignored until they were done.

We went on a Sunday evening and they were out of bread, the salad lettuce was brown and not good, and the filet steak was tough and super chewy. The sodas lacked carbonation too. The food was good, unfortunately the service experience was not the best, I could even say mediocre. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a gesture that made us feel uncomfortable. Then every time we needed something, we had to insist up to three times and it took a long time. On one occasion I got up and went to the kitchen to ask for a soda refill because they didnt bring it. The place is comfortable, but the atmosphere falls right in the middle between a steakhouse and a bar. The cut of meat was very good, but we thought the shrimp were ok.

Service was ok and its the usual Longhorns. Nothing out of the ordinary, but the service was decent. Seems like it was late and perhaps a bit short staffed.

Great service from our waiter! A note to management please invest in new steak knives. My husbands knife was horribly broken and rusty, and silver ware looked very dirty but may have been water soap stains. The experience and atmosphere is always my first impression.
