Very good service and delicious food. The atmosphere is inviting and great music. Fajitas are the bomb. Recommend the mix grill or parrilla, steak , chicken , sausage, and shrimp.

I was more impressed with the upscale atmosphere and excellent service than I was the food. It was very good but to me, it didnt live up to that of what is a more upscale restaurant then your local, strip center restaurant. I also had the same experience as another reviewer with the drains in the parking lot smelling like sewer.

This place is beautiful and relaxing to be in. I loved the food as well as the quick, thorough, and impeccable service all of the way to the manager walking us ladies to the door, getting the door and wishing us a great rest of the day. I live a bit of a drive away from this location, but will be returning right back to it. Thank you!

The food and beverages were delicious and you can tell carefully prepared and presented. The atmosphere, the music AMAZING! The music played was a good mix and variety of past and present artists and genres. Our waiter Byron (Webster/Clear Lake location) was professional, courteous, attentive and walked us through the menu answering our questions. I highly recommend this restaurant. My new to go! Parking: Plenty of parking.

First time there, food was very good. Not your typical Tex Mex. Most importantly was the service. The staff was excellent, especially our server Sebastián. For Father s Day I took my husband to Escalante s. At the recommendation of our server, I tried the grilled salmon and vegetables. I have eaten Grilled Salmon in Alaska and I have to say this is right there with the Salmon we had in Alaska. This was the juiciest Grilled Salmon I have ever had and it was incredibly tasty. Perfect seasoning and the sautéed spinach and avocado that accompanied the Grilled Salmon were spot on. Well done and cannot wait to go back again for the Salmon. Our server was so good and I hope he is awarded for his excellence. I told the manager but hope it is reflected in his pay or awards if you have them. The item on the menu is under the Fit-Mex category and it is called Pescado Fresco. Delicious!! I wish I had taken a picture!! Dietary restrictions: I cannot have a lot of sodium and the salmon was not heavily seasoned with salt. Soooo good.

This place was recommended to us by several of our friends. That being said, the margaritas were not very good. Food was not seasoned well, and the fajitas were dry. Maybe we just came on a bad day? The best part was the appetizer and the service. Empanadas were very tasty, and our server was extremely polite and helpful.

Service was terrific. Had the carne asada Escalante. The meat was great, cooked perfectly. Sides not so much. Somehow they made good empanadas but the quesadillas were horrible. Not sure how you mess up a quesadilla, its like a grilled cheese made with a tortilla. Margaritas were meh. Thats why I averaged out the score, service was great, food wasnt as satisfying.

I had the Playa Del Carmen and my wife had the Isla Mujeres for brunch. Both were excellent. I loved the Playa because it was actually an omelette in an enchilada style. Their borracho beans are some of the tastiest around. For drinks we hade house made Herradura double barrel margarita these were excellent as well not to sweet or sour just right. The staff were great. First time here and I will definitely be back soon.

We just had our lunch in Escalante s . The food is superb . The staffs were nice . Sebastian our waiter is very attentive . We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this place.

Our waitress, Betty was amazing! She is so knowledgeable about her craft (beverages and food) that I completely changed my order because her recommendations sold me! Her customer service is second to none. Well definitely be returning.

Nice place, excellent service & good food. Beautiful decor. V we ry pleasant eating experience. 1st time there yet wont be the last. Parking: Free parking. Plenty parking available. Wheelchair accessible. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly yet place better enjoyed by adults.

Had a business lunch meeting today. Service, food, and atmosphere was exceptional.We were served and cared for by Sebastian Maldonado. From the moment we were seated, Sebastian treated us like we were his only client. Attentive, friendly, accomodating, and just all around exceptional. He made our experience extraordinary.
