Im giving this place a solid 4 stars because of Michelle at the Restaurant. I had dinner here while staying and she is a genuine pleasure. Great Service and great way to end my travel day. Ill stay here again due in large part to Michelle. The rooms need updating, and have a musky smell, thus 4 stars and not 5. Food and drinks: Michelle makes it worth eating at the Restaurant here.

Their only downfall is you have to pay for breakfest. Beds are amazing I actually fell in love with them a little. Lol Staff is super friendly and very helpful. I would definitely come again and recommend Nearby activities: Stomp burgers is amazing and in their parking lot in front. Its a must try. And the bowling alley is right next door Walkability: You can walk to many different good places to eat.

Best part about this hotel is the customer service. The front desk agents are welcoming and professional. They are empowered to make decisions appropriate to the situation (vs. the last few places where I stayed at where they were scared to even check people out without a manager being there). Kudos to the night staff like Moses and Victoria who take time to make sure every guest is helped, despite it taking some time to get things sorted out. Hotel has a small gym with weights and bench, treadmill, elliptical. There is a water dispenser and water fountains outside the gym. Snack area has soft drinks and snacks available for purchase, despite the vending machines not working on the floor. Plenty of parking, and next to a variety of food options you can walk to (Japanese, Thai, etc.) as the parking lot is adjacent to a commercial strip with lots of stores. One star off due to the weird breakfast situation, elevators being inefficient, and some parts of the hotel being a little shabby/not as well maintained. Overall - would recommend this place as it is safe, service is good, and a convenient location for getting food or shopping, as well as I-45.

Always enjoy my favorite IHG hotel. Stayed again for 5 nights in August and enjoyed every one. Very close to NASA and Ellington Field. Convenient to access in and out of the area. Great staff....was greeted by Madison, which made me feel right at home. Thank you for another perfect stay!

Ah, the Holiday Inn where the pillows are softer than the mattresses and the breakfast buffet could give your local cafeteria a run for its money. Checking in was a breeze; the front desk gentleman MOSES was very friendly and provided TOP TIER CUSTOMER SERVICE. The room was spacious, with all the modern amenities one would expect: a bed, a TV, and enough lamps to light a small village. The décor? Let s just say it s timeless because it looks like it s been there since time began. The wallpaper was peeling in places, but I assume that s just their way of adding a little extra character to the place. It often smells of pinesol and cleaning supplies, and housekeeping is also on point in their duties. Overall, my stay at the Holiday Inn was memorable mainly because people in hospitality tend to lack care nowadays. MOSES is a game changer. Really loved it despite its price, it s well worth it. I had room 218 the room was clean and really large and spacious. The beds were comfy it was very peaceful and quiet I really didn t want to leave but I was only staying one night breakfast was the best out of any place I had been too and the staff guy working breakfast was also really nice and even offered to bring out more eggs even though it was closing in 30 minutes and it was just 2 of us. Ac was working and really made it cold which I loved the fridge and microwave worked the only thing that didn t work was the Keurig but that was okay they had hot coffee downstairs. The pool was freezing and the hot tub was great but since I m pregnant I didn t get in Regardless I really loved it here and wish I could stay longer. I still can t get over how peaceful it was

BEST HOTEL IN WEBSTER. The staffs are very friendly and very helpful toward me and my guest. The rooms are very nice and very clean. This hotel always smells so nice and clean. The rooms are clean as well. I was pleasantly surprised to see the cleaning staff always on point and being diligent in their housekeeping duties. The front desk folks were amazing too! MADISON made me feel welcomed and was very helpful during my stay. There were several others that I encountered at the front desk and they were all very pleasant. They greet you when you walk in and out, and that acknowledgment made me feel comfortable and safe. It was as if they knew who was coming in and out of the hotel. A positive experience all around!

Most of the service was on par, especially the restaurant. The burger was AMAZING! Who would think. We found a dirty diaper in a black trash bag in the corner of the room. It was hard to see, but my daughter kept smelling it (she slept near it) called the front desk to tell them and placed it out our room in the hall. They never came and got it even when I asked them to.

Absolutely outstanding IHG property. Beautiful classic Holiday Inn and perfect well organized staff. Madison is the perfect example of a General Manager very nice at check in, hospitality is out of this world! Rooms are so spacious and comfortable! Convenient location lots of great stuff nearby. The rooms were clean but they needed maintenance. The cushions were in need of replacement or repair because the zippers were broken. The carpet had holes in it. The driers were set to low so you need to spend twice as much on drying your clothes. The ice machines did not work. The breakfast is not worth the price they charge you and when you inform the service manager they really dont care. Their response was we will get maintenance to look at it. I dont recommend this place at all and to top it off its located next to a 24 hour car wash and train track. We were going to stay for 5 days nut we left after 3 days. I was assigned to a dirty room on arrival. After I informed the front desk, the room was dirty, they reassigned me to a room, within a few minutes, on a floor, they had previously told me on arrival, did not have any rooms available. This was deceitful. The new room I was assigned to, had a bright light you could not turn off, because it was connected to all of the other power outlets in the room. So as a guest you had to try to sleep with this bright light on, to be able to charge your phone and use any of the other power outlets for anything else. Imagine trying to sleep with a bright light on as a guest in a hotel. The details of the grossly unprofessional behavior & conduct of Ashley McAfee, a manager at this hotel was reported to IHG guest relations. Ashley McAfe is a poor representation of the IHG hotel brand. It is not a coincidence that this hotel has poor ratings from past guests. I only booked at this location, last minute because there was severe weather on the date I booked & I was stranded. Dont waste your money here.

The room was alright but the entire 5th floor did not have water. We could not take care of our hygiene & bathing. The other floors (1-4) did have water. I was told that if a room becomes available that then I could shower and take care of my hygiene but would have to wait for an opening. I tried to talk to a manager but no one was available. I was directed to call and given a business card. I called several times finally reaching her (Assistant General Manager-Ashley McAfee) and was told that the entire city had a water outage. I told her the other floor had water plus there was no reported outages on the citys website and Facebook page. They did not attempt to do anything to reconcile this issue; instead try to make a horrible no-sense excuse. I would caution you on staying at this property.

Got value for money. Cozy quality ambiance, great luxury feeling in the room and good rest all through. May be a bit tricky to locate as its in the back of a row of other establishments, but once you figure it out, it becomes easy to get to. Walkability: The main road is very walkable and there is actually a mall within walking distance. Lots of eaterys and coffee places.. on both sides of the road..

Pool was overflowing with water and the water was going into the restrooms. That same water was flowing into the pool. Let s just say the men s restrooms were not clean but dirty floors. My kids started coughing from chlorine fumes in the pool room. The room was dirty two tissues under our bed. The parking lot had vomit in two areas from the Christmas parties being held in their meeting rooms. Now the staff is awesome.

WARNING!!!! I was so dissatisfied with this place everything is OLD AND OUTDATED AND DIRTY! The staff is RUDE AND UNHELPFUL! Half of the time you can t find anyone at the front desk to help assist you .my A/C Heater blew out dust so very dirty and did not work it smelled like a fire so I turned it off and reported it NEVER FIXED NOR DID THEY OFFER ANOTHER ROOM! The shower curtain fell down it was being held up by a rod that wasn t stable that wasn t fun showering and a shower curtain falls!! Do not even bother with their breakfast it s disgusting and I am almost positive the fruit was several days old. Ashley the manager was such a nasty rude person. Indoor pool and hot tub that is surrounded by slippery tile the gym has broken scales and the water machine doesn t work. This place is so run down and outdated it just felt dirty. Food is nasty do not waste your money. From a seasoned traveler take my advice and stay someplace else. There are 2 much nicer hotels in the same location. I highly recommend Courtyard Inn and Suites by Marriott .if you stay at this Holiday Inn remember at the beginning of the post I put WARNING! This hotel was the perfect place for me and my toddler. She enjoyed the swimming pool each night we stayed. The gym also had a variety of machines and equipment. We enjoyed the dining the most! Breakfast and dinner was so delicious and easy for us. We had went out for lunch but the convenience of going downstairs for food with a toddler made it so easy. There is so much to do around this hotel. You can walk to coffee shops, boba, food and drink.

I just completed a stay at this hotel. I was part of a week-long 30 people conference. Upon check in, we received a personalized letter in our rooms with a goodie bag full of snacks (Cheetos, Oreos, candy bar, cheeze its, a bag of popcorn, and 2 bottles of water). The rooms were very spacious and clean. Housekeeping came every day to make up the beds, empty trash, and replenish towels and toiletries (another rarity in todays hotel industry!) The customer service Yvonne Small provided during our conference and stay was OUTSTANDING. She had everything we needed, and if we ever wanted something else, she got it for us right away. It is hard to find quick and friendly service in the hotel industry these days, so we very much appreciated all she did for us. The meeting room was set up for us each day with fresh coffee, hot tea, iced tea, and water. We also had delicious snacks each after noon (nacho bar; hummus, veggies, and crackers; popcorn; etc). The food itself is something to RAVE about! The hotel chef had a fresh hot breakfast and lunch prepared for us each day. The food was all so very tasty, better than many of the restaurants Ive eaten at and certainly better than ANY hotel food Ive ever had! Breakfast was the same every day but there were plenty of items to mix it up throughout the week. Breakfast included biscuits and gravy, French toast, eggs, bacon, sausage patties, yogurt, boiled eggs, cereal, muffins, etc. The lunches we had included a soup and salad bar, build your own wraps or sandwiches, Italian pasta, and a taco/fajita bar. The pool and hot tub were also VERY nice! The pool had water jets that shot as arches into the pool from the pool deck which made it more fun. The hot tub was always HOT, as it should be! Both the pool and hot tub were open every day (also hard to find at most hotels these days). We did have some re-occurring issues with the key cards to our hotel rooms. Often times they deactivated or the battery in the sensor on the door went dead and had to be changed. Only one of the treadmills in the gym were working. The bar was also closed as the old managers took the liquor license with them when they sold, but the current owner expects to have a liquor license by next month and have the bar up and running again. However, these were all minor inconveniences and didnt deter from the overall stay and everything else this hotel excelled at. The hotel is only 10 minutes away from NASA and the hotel sells general admission tickets at the front desk. There is also a great variety of food establishments within walking distance for a change of scenery. I would DEFINITELY recommend staying at this hotel and will surely return to this hotel if Im ever back in the area.

I called and made reservations for my daughters birthday party. They took my reservation and told me I could pay when I got here. When I showed up with a group of girls they told me that without a card on file they cancelled my reservation. They told me on the phone that they didnt need a card and they never bothered to call to tell me they cancelled my reservation. Ruined my daughters 13th birthday. The manager made it out to be my fault because I didnt leave a card on file when they were the ones that told me I didnt need to and then turned her back on me and walked away. I was supposed to spend my birthday here, my mom called the hotel and the lady on the phone said you can pay online or when you get to the hotel so my mom picked to pay when we got there. When we got there the lady at the desk said we had no reservation because we didnt pay online. My mom asked to speak to the manager and the manager (the person she spoke to about making reservations) said you didnt pay online there is nothing I can do for you and then walked away. The lady at the desk was very nice and proceeded to help us but was not able to. We now have to find a last minute hotel and my mom is not pleased about it at all.

Went in the lobby and no one was at the front desk. Waited for a few minutes. 5minutes turned to 15. Started walking around the the first floor to try and look for a staff member. After some time i finally found one but was not a front desk. This person then fetched and looked for the front desk for another 20 minutes. In total i waited 40 minutes, yep you read that correctly. Just to speak to a front desk staff. All the while the line behind got up to 8. This is a cheap hotel so i wasnt expecting top notch rooms but service should not be at this level.

Worst experience to date with this hotel. I stayed here on July 13th 2023 for one day and was double charged. I have yet to receive a refund. They keep insisting they have done it and I have patiently waited for as you can see almost 45 days. Do not stay at this hotel!!! I recently stayed at this Holiday Inn, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The first night, our AC malfunctioned it wouldnt regulate temperature properly. In the Texas heat, this meant a freezing cold room or an unbearably hot one. When I approached the front desk about a room change the next morning, they said theyd call once a room was ready. This call never came. To my shock, upon our return, I found out they had moved all my belongings to a new room without my permission. I had left out personal items such as unpacked clothing, laptops and other electronics, medicine, and cosmetics none of which I would have left exposed had I known they would move my things without consulting me first. To add to the frustration, when they transferred my food, they didnt bother to put it back in the fridge, resulting in everything being wasted. The worst part was the response from the general manager, Ashley. Instead of addressing my concerns with understanding and empathy, she mentioned that I shouldnt have been accommodated in the first place. Furthermore, when I expressed my disappointment, she threatened that if I complained further, I wouldnt be allowed to stay for the night. Such a response from management is unacceptable. While issues can arise in any service, its how theyre handled that truly matters. I am deeply disappointed with the treatment I received and urge others to consider this before booking.

Starting off there was some confusion at check in and when they finally found us a room the key card didn t work so we had to go back downstairs to get it corrected all while the staff member was texting on her phone and seemed like she didn t want to work whatsoever. Breakfast is a extra charge as well. The room was clean however the blanket had stains, the curtains had water stains, there was water damage on the roof and the AC would leak water on the floor when it was on. The room smelled like mold as well. Once when that employee left the service got a little better however the room quality was very poor almost like a motel standard. Luckily didn t see any bugs of any kind however with all the water sources I wouldn t be surprised if there are some in the hotel.

this is absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! The AC went out, NO FULL BAR even though they advertise fabulous cocktails and food - seems they lost their liquor license. Management is inept and completely unprofessional. FOOD Is absolutely terrible (server asked how I would like the burger done (well done, medium, etc. LOL, it was a frozen patty). Booked the hotel online, arrived from the airport (a $30 Uber) only to be told that they didn t know why the system allowed me to book a room as they were oversold and didn t have a room for me, my husband and 2 young kids who had all just arrived from 9 hours of traveling internationally with tons of bags, car seats, and everything. The worst part was the lack of knowing how to handle this situation with a high level of hospitality. I had to ask if there were other holiday inns nearby that could be contacted before the person who I think was the manager on duty offered to call them. At one point I even said to her after she kept saying there was nothing they could do, what s the hospitality solution? We ended up finding, on our own, the stay bridge suites .2 mi away with room. Come to find out, they are a sister company to holiday inn but they weren t offered to us as a solution. To make this experience better for the future, I would recommend the frontline workers having a much better way to handle situations where the system / corporate oversells. Have gift cards on hand and como dinner. Pay for the Uber and help find them a new hotel. Do SOMETHING because the answer can t be to do nothing.

We booked online from the airport and took a $30 Uber to get here only to be told they over booked, didn t care that we were inconvenienced, and would comp us by simply not charging us for the room they didn t have. We were talking to Ashley the on duty manager and she did not apologize once for their mistake, just matter-of-factly looked us in the eye and told us that the Uber wasn t their problem and the inconvenience wasn t their fault. When we asked her to at least help us book another IHG hotel in the area she then insisted everywhere else in the area would be booked and she didn t really want to try. I personally called another IHG two minutes away and booked it myself since their staff wouldn t lift a finger to do anything to help us.

No one helped me with the cockroach problem on my last day! When I got to the hotel, my room smelled like a moldy house. My ac didn t work very well at all and the room was very humid. The last morning I was there a flying cockroach was in my room. I called the front desk and he said he couldn t help me because it was the end of his shift and I needed to wait for housekeeping to get there in 20 minutes. I waited about 50 minutes while the roach flew at me multiple times and no one came, so I packed up and checked out.

When we arrived the hotel smelled of very strong bleach and it made our eyes and throat burn. In our room I found a used bar of soap. I went down to the front desk to request more soap. When turning off the light switch at front door it turns off all the electrical outlets on the wall between the beds so I had to move a medical sleep machine to another area and when walking back around the bed I hit my left leg on a metal frame that was to big for my queen size bed this was for a king bed, it left a huge blood hematoma. I called to front desk to report it and he brought me bag of ice, I asked him to see the metal bar sticking out from under the dust ruffle and he said he had no ideal why it was like that and tried to move the mattress and boxspring to match up and it wouldnt budge. I took photos to show the front desk the next morning and my leg which was worse than the night before. The man at front desk wrote it all down and said that he would accommodate me for a night if thats what I chose to do. I agreed that would be nice of him and thanking him for the accommodation but, to please make sure the bed frame was fixed. This hotel is older and could use some updates to draw in more people after looking out the window the night before there were not many cars in the parking lot. Also please fix the elevator only one was working. Traveled for medical reasons. I would show my photos but it doesnt give me the option which is why I said this hotel is outdated. Not tech savvy~ No free breakfast Im still waiting on my 15,000 points to purchase my free nights stay. Im a IHG Memeber #7842 Last four numbers

It is a cheap 1.5 star hotel that is managed poorly. I thought Holiday Inn was a good hotel brand but this was completely opposite. Old building with less staff. Had to wait for the check-in at 11pm with no one at the reception. Morning breakfast has too less of options. They didnt have plates and when I mentioned this to the staff the reply was No plates, no salary, blah.. blah... They have pan cake machine but no pan cake mix in it for long time and then they shut breakfast counter at 9:30am without even checking with guests eating in the dining hall. Broken shampoo bottle, no hook in the bathroom to hang your clothes. Avoid this hotel.

Onyly problem which I conside major was that the toilet was not cleaned. The back of the seat had dried stool, toilet seat had urine stains and hair. Rim toilet was dirty and dried urine. Called front desk which was late was told not much can do because he was the only there. We only had 3.5 hours to get some sleep before our son procedure so we stayed. The next I informed the frint desk was told will reverse oayment on the card. When we went to check out was told a little was taken of the charges but took some more off bringing it down to 79.99 . Receipt total 92.43. I was ready to get back on the road. I was already upset that I had to clean the toilet to use it and then was told payments would be reversed and then they decide not to. Extremely disappointing.

Location and rooms were good. But, breakfast is not included in the room price, unless you pay a higher room price. If you have breakfast, you must pay $14.99 + tax. There is also an additional 17% charge during the month of June and July. Ironically, I was not informed of these when I booked my reservation. Other than that, the hotel stay was good.

The best part of my stay was when the staff member Aremecia(I believe that s her name) went out of her way to accommodate me. She was a sweet older lady with curly hair. I originally booked one night and decided to stay a second night after arriving. I was originally told I had to check out and then check in to get another room and that I could not keep the same room. I was told I had to do this book because I booked with a 3rd party. I asked for early check in and I was told it was not possible. I knew it was last minute so I understood. The next day when checking out, this sweet lady found a way to check me in early, offered me to stay in the same room and accommodated all my needs. She made it seem like it was no problem at all. She was definitely inconvenienced to make these arrangements for me and I could tell she had to move things around for us, but it really made our day go so much smoother. Because of her, my stay went from good to EXCELLENT. It is service like this you don t see too much nowadays and that is why it was so extra special. She is the only reason why I decided to write this review.

The staff is very nice and comforting. But some things I noticed walking into the hotel, the smell we literally so disgusting. Idk if it s mildew? or what it could be. It was so gross and overpowering. The hallways and lobby were so hot I was literally sweating just waiting in line. now walking into my hotel room it was clean-ish. I also noticed the little lotion, shampoo, and conditioner were all half empty as of the user before didn t use it all so they didn t replace it? The smell went away as I stepped into my room but it still stayed in the bathroom that it was making my friend nauseous. Also, the water to shower or sink doesn t get hot. More like warm. Other than that, it was decent stay.

EVERYTHING. WAS. BROKEN. One of the elevators didnt work, and the other ones door didnt shut properly. The elevator started moving while the door was still wide open. The room keys were a lot harder to use than they shouldve been. The water in the bathroom sink had no water pressure. One of the beds was broken and was falling overwhen you got on it the wrong way. The breakfast was all soggy, the bacon wasnt even real meat, the milk was in a coffee pot, the eggs were undercooked, but the biscuits were pretty good(but those arent hard to cook considering they just need to be slapped in the oven for 2 minutes). The ceiling light was broken, the lamp was broken, the mini fridge was left open, the weird pyramid outlet thing didnt work either. The TV was super buggy. The floor was creaky in a very bad way.

DONT STAY HERE, Use to be my to go place during winter to get in the pool NOT ANYMORE. As soon as I walk in the problems started. Employees watching TV with shoes propt up on sofas. Pool was freezing, jacuzzi didnt work. Pool restrooms were filthy. There was hair on the towels in our restroom. Water from the shower came out looking yellowish. We try to make the best of it and then at 8am housekeeping woke us up, knocking on the door like they were the police. Never Again will I stay here.

Cutting corners. We booked a suite and stayed here 2 nights. We booked through hotels.com and who said the price included breakfast. We were told when we got there that they no longer do breakfast but would reimburse us for that cost...ok, fine. When we get to the room, there was a lamp and a chair in separate rooms that had a crusted white smear on them. It could have been harmless but thats just gross and should have been cleaned up. One of the double sinks was clogged and drained at a snails pace. There was no shampoo, and we actually didnt bring our own because we packed in such a hurry. There was less than half a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. I asked for shampoo and toilet paper at the front desk, but was told the items are locked up until the crew comes back tomorrow morning at 7am. He DID happen to have a roll of toilet paper that he asked the cleaning crew to leave out for him to give out, but I wasnt able to shower for my grandmothers funeral the next morning. There was only one working elevator (one likely closed to lower maintenance costs) which made it difficult to get downstairs with 5 kids, a stroller, and a car seat when everyone else is leaving their rooms in the morning. The last complaint would be that the suites bedroom and living room area (with the fold out bed) main lights both operated on the same switches. So my mom went to bed earlier than the kids and me, but when she turned off the light in her room, ours went out too. We turned ours back on, and hers came on too....whats the point of that? So my mom had to try and fall asleep with the lights on in the living room until I was finished using the lights in the bedroom.

Not a very good hotel. Old, and has not been kept up very well. The room smelled, like the carpet had gotten wet and not been properly cleaned. No breakfast, restaurant was closed. Small indoor pool, hot tub was broken, one elevator was broken. Washer and dryer were broken. Only good thing about this hotel were the employees, they were nice and helpful, but I definitely would not stay here again.
