If you plan to get divorced, you better get good representation. My wife at the time and I had separated, and she had moved to Galveston County with my minor children. I had no idea about divorce proceedings or lawyers in Galveston County and was poorly served by the one I originally selected. Later, more things were discovered, and I needed to revisit the divorce. This time I found Robert Musemeche and I wish I had found him from the beginning. He was an outstanding counselor and advocate for me as I reopened the divorce and went through mediation and subsequent challenges to the mediated resolution. He was always a professional and I never felt he was charging me for frivolous or unnecessary work. He helped me achieve the best possible outcome that took a long time, and I am thankful for that. I was recommended to Rob by a friend in the legal field. She remembered him and thought he was worth checking out. I had a messy divorce decree, an expiring protective order and a need for peace. I needed a lawyer to help me modify my decree, to set things right for my kids and protect myself as well. I approached other attorneys at the same I approached him and felt discouraged. It took me 6 months to gather the guts to move forward on pursuing a modification. Rob and his wonderful paralegal Greta did everything I needed and more. Every question I asked was answered in a way I could understand, every concern I brought up was addressed. Today I was notified my modification was resolved and I can move forward with my life. Mr. Robert musemeche is a great and fantastic attorney I can right so many great things about him and his team and his field of work. He s been doing this for a very long time and knows the law better then anyone I know. I learned a lot about the law as well with him and how the state of Texas works and what the code is better then ever. He help fight for me and my little one and my rights as the father! I had looked for a Super Attorney in the greater Houston/Galveston area that I felt could take on a case of high conflict with no resolution in sight; which lead me to Robert. Robert is an absolutely brilliant attorney. He has been my attorney for over 20 years. Back in 2000, another attorney highly recommended him to me after she went toe-to-toe with him in the courtroom (she lost but rather than being a sore loser, she admired his talent/skills). Since then, he has exceeded my expectations in many legal matters (real estate, business owner, personal, etc.). Mr. Musemeche not only accomplished success in my legal custody issues, he worked very hard and had my case wrapped up on a deadline we had hoped for to make a smooth transition for my children during school break. I found Rob from the reviews on Google. His receptionist was very kind and helpful. She helped to set up a consultation with Rob through Zoom. He was able to help look over my divorce paperwork and let me know exactly what route I should take with my divorce. He was very down to earth and seemed eager to help me out with my divorce case. Musemeche Law is by far the best representation you could possibly retain if you are facing a family law case. My intial case for divorce and child custody was previously being handled by a different law firm. Over the course of a years time with my previous lawyer, I experienced misguided information, shuffled in with poor communication and felt the only consistency was the rush for payment from me. After receiving numerous resets by the courts and eventually a motion to withdraw from my case I was forced to seek new counsel. I scheduled my free consult with Rob and although I had read of the many family law cases hes handled, from the moment I walked in his office, both he and his staff made me feel as though I was the only case that mattered. I came prepared with my trial documents for him to review but it almost didnt matter because he had already taken the time to review my case history before I arrived .. I felt immediately secure and confident in my selection with him as my attorney! I received regular communication from both he and his staff, without having to feel I was bothering them for updates and I was kept in the loop with any and every event that was upcoming in my case. I met wth him in Jan 2020, mediation was scheduled and completed by Mar 2020 and my divorce/ custody case was successfully settled in Jun 2020 .. only to be delayed by the court closures due to the pandemic crisis. I have had the privilege of having Robert as an attorney in my child custody case which carried on for over 2 years. Robert is trustworthy, honest and a devout Chrisitan. Truly one of a kind. During this long ordeal Robert never gave up nor did he allow the opposing lawyer to bully him. He stood his ground got the right people involved to win my case which granted me custody of my daughter. I also would like to comment on his staff. I was considered his friend when he said he could help me as my divorce attorney. Boy did he lie and totally mess me over. The first time I took him as my attorney my husband and I reconciled and did not go through with anything. Yet Rob and his office at that time took my retainer of 5k. When I said no divorce all within a month or so they had spent my retainer and still wanted more money. I showed Rob who told me they are crooks. Write them and tell them you will not pay as they did nothing and you will put a nasty review online if they keep asking. I m truly not the type to write reviews until now. Second time I hired Rob thinking he was honest right? Well I paid him my retainer and did go through with the divorce. My ex never showed up to court so Rob was upset he had no case to rack up his money on and did nothing but make me call to ask all questions. Never went over what he would charge and we went to court 2 times. The first day to file divorce and 2nd time to have decree signed. I was assured that the IRS bill, the credit cards, the car payments, child support, child insurance, medical bills, and more would be required for my ex to to take care of and it would not my responsibility anymore since he put it on decree. I was assured that all the things in the decree would be followed since a judge signed off on it. None of that was true. After the divorce I could have had anything at all in the decree and was assured it was but not true. I ve almost lost everything because that was a lie and my ex just had to move away with parents not get a job nor pay a thing. The IRS enlightened me that just because it s on a divorce decree doesn t take my responsibilities away. Not on anything we had together before divorce. IRS seized my accounts, he never got kids insurance, never paid one red cent and I was left with everything while my ex had taken all the retirement accounts and Rob did not even try to get me this money back. Now Rob keeps asking me for more money saying my retainer did not suffice. Well I have no more money. About to go upside down on everything and he still asks for more money when he did absolutely nothing for me. I told him that I would do what he told me to do on the first attorney he worked for if he kept asking. That he was to get it from my ex like he said he would but nope. Still has harassing me for money I don t have and my kids and I have been through the ringer. But my ex sits high and mighty with nothing at all happening to him and no one went after him for money. I didn t even have the money to go to another attorney to go after my ex because of what Rob did to me. I would never write these things if he would have just stopped asking for money he did not deserve and he hasn t.

I highly recommend Mr. Musemeche and his law office. I consulted three Lawyers prior to hiring Mr. Musemeche to represent me in my divorce case (which included children/custody). He is confident and assertive, positive but realistic, creative and well versed with the law and the options therein. I was pleased with the entire process; he was diligent to get the documents correct, with enforceable language, and in a timely manner. He helped avoid unnecessary steps, creating a clear-cut plan we agreed on together (he listened well to my desires and did not try to change my mind). Additionally he was quite close in the overall estimate of the start-to-finish cost (granted this can change depending on the case). I was also pleased with the less-than 4-month start-to-finish process. Where do I start ? The experience I had with MR.Musemeche as a client was amazing . Rob is very easy to work with. He helped keep me calm during my divorce process and assured me everything would be alright. I felt as his billing was efficient and that for what he did in 2 months for me, the price was perfect. He was hired by myself after firing my first lawyer and took on a case after a year of nothing happening to it with my previous lawyer and finished it within 2 months. Never met an attorney in my life as nice as Mr. Mesumeche. He has this God-given gift of listening and understanding his clients as humans first and then get to the legal advise. Fathers with troubles regarding custody and child support, this is a great advocate for you in the courtroom. If you love your family, make a Will! It is the biggest single act you can do to show them your cared from beyond. Having your affairs in order also will give you a great peace of mind. The folks at Musemeche Law, make it very easy to do in a relaxing peaceful atmosphere (at a time you may be stressing over the decisions) all while at a very affordable price. Probably cheaper than you think. I know it was for us. While searching for an attorney cost was a major fear factor for us. As we searched and made inquiries I found it difficult to get a straight answer to a simple question. How much does it cost to make a will? Attorney Rob Musemeche not only took the time to respond personally he was very straightforward. He did not start out with Well it depends (besides I already knew that) or come see me and we can discuss. No Mr. Musemeche, gave me a simple quote and outlined what I would get which included wills, POAs and Living Wills for the wife and I. Obviously if we chose or needed a more complex will there would have been additional cost but the point is He didnt try to hide cost and was very upfront with us and that endeared us to him and his staff who were also nothing but extremely courteous and helpful every step of the way!

Mr. Musemeche has been the calm in the worst storm ive ever been in. I had to fight in court to see my son and he has been stood by me and fought for me every step of the way. He has not always told me everything i want to hear but he knows the family law very well and how the system works. He saved me 27,000 in back child support. He has always told me my options and let me decide but also advised me wisely to the pluses and minuses to all my options. He has really changed my opinion about lawyers and i will always call him if anything legal arises in my life. Hes a great man to have in your corner for sure. Truely and sincerely, blue collar Texas dad.
