I had such a fantastic time at Rowdy s Dance Hall! The atmosphere is lively and fun, perfect for anyone looking to dance the night away. We have been going to Rowdys for years and we highly recommend them! They play a great mix of line dance, two-step, polka, etc...and even do club music. The staff is friendly and the environment is top notch. If youre interested in dance lessons, they have those! And themed nights add an extra element of fun! Get your dance on at Rowdys!!

The level of disrespect from the blonde bartender named Suzie at the front bar is completely uncalled for. I asked for Jell-O shots and she gave me a dirty look then threw them at me. She has also lied on the customers trying to get them banned and has been caught lying by the manger, who is also amazing! Something really needs to happen regarding Suzie ! I come here very frequently and I have never had an issue with the bartenders in the back bar, Miranda and Linda, are amazing! If you come here or think about coming here for a good time go to them!

My husband and I go all the times. We stopped for awhile because the past DJ s catered to the younger crowd only. The new Dj Cidney was awesome which is why we started to come. He plays a good balance of music. I request a song and he s quick to get it on. Plus he ll take the time to acknowledge you and have quick conversation. I would give 5 stars but between AC issues the last month or so and last night the women s bathroom had a strong sewage smell.

This review is not based on the bar, I actually frequent this bar very often however, there has been a change to the DJs recently. Multiples times that I have been there the DJ, John or johnnie, is more worried about making out with his girlfriend in the dj booth than to play good music. The photos shown are at 10:30 on a friday night during labor day weekend. He was playing slow sad country music and had nobody on the floor. We looked up to the DJ booth and he was sitting in the booth making out with a girl, which happens to be the manager. He is rude and doesn t care about if the music is good or not just cares about getting drunk in the DJ booth and what girl is standing next to him. Walking up to the bar with him as the DJ it sounds like we re walking into a sad heartbreak club. Nobody wants to go to a dance hall and listen to music that wants to make you cry. On top of that the sad songs were all waltz songs which a few waltz s are fine but when it s 7/8 in a row it gets redundant. After we sat there for an hour we decided to go request songs so we could dance a little. We paid for four songs and sent him money through cash app and gave him cash to play the songs. While we were standing there he took a request from an employee and their girlfriend and played their song immediately, they did not pay him to offer any money to play the songs. An hour later he hadn t played one of our songs so we went back to ask why he hadn t. His words were he can t just cater to us which we are regulars of the bar who come and spend hundreds of dollars every weekend at this bar. As someone who works in customer service, this DJ is not it. That being said, we have never had an issue with Cid as the DJ. He always has taken our requests and plays a good mix of all types of songs. Will think twice about coming to, sending friends, or customers to this bar if Johnnie is the DJ. Please contact me with any questions you may have. Update have not seen said Dj since. Has been 5 star experience ever since. Cid does great.

I never post negative reviews at all. However, I want to share my experience and give people the heads up before going. First its a nice place, good drinks and atmosphere. However, there is a NO REENTRY policy that is not posted anywhere visible! Girlfriend, myself, and another couple bought tickets and a table to Randy Rodgers band. $40 each, then some drinks, and some band merchandise $35 each, so weve been there for less than an hour, spent around $300 dollars, and the live music hasnt even started yet. I took the merchandise we just purchased out to my truck, which was parked 25 yards from the front door, literally within line of sight from entrance. Upon returning, I was told no REENTRY was allowed. Despite them stamping my wrist when we first walked in earlier. I tried to discuss the situation with the bouncer working the door. He informed me the place was sold out, and they had to let people in if anyone left. So, they basically sold more tickets than they had space for. Eventually, a manager came out, and after a discussion, she did agree to let me back in. Which props for that. Anyway, I wish they had the no REENTRY policy posted where it could be seen before walking outside Thanks for reading Thank you to the staff for allowing me back in

Will never go back. The line to get in was ridiculous. Then the 30 minute wait at the bar just to be told you can t close out your tab on a concert night. So you have to wait another 45 minutes to close tab. Acoustics are crappy. With the time we took to travel, stay in a hotel and wait for everything it was a waste. People are literally going to the sports bar across the parking lot to get drinks and go back.

After 4 drinks they took me out and they asked me for no my id. I gave it to them when I first entered and also gave it to again when they asked but for some reason. They deicided it wasn t good enough after 4 drinks. I asked them for my id back and they would not give it back. I left and will never return because of the rude and incompetent staff and bouncers. Will never rerun because they are ridiculous. Rowdies is the only place where I can spend 25$ to get into and be kicked out 20 minutes later. Worst pace I ve ever been too for drinks, do not go here if you see this.

EVERYTIME I ve been the female bartenders ignore me and talk to the male regulars or walk away. When they do get my order there is an attitude (recognized by their fellow bartender working with them) I spent 15 minutes trying to get a drink first time I came when I walked away and sent my boyfriend he got service in 30 seconds. Tonight, when I received service was mostly from the male bartender being so nice and helpful where as the female bartender had an attitude and wanted nothing to do with me or my other 2 female friends that wanted drinks. We all 3 are bartenders are selves and are patient and respectful and didn t understand why we received this treatment. Extremely rude and disrespectful. Whoever the male bartender was tonight THANK YOU for everything. Also the drinks specials that are posted don t have a cut off time on social media they re supposed to be all night but apparently when you order them they actually do but you are not told. So always ask. Even the bartenders didn t know when it was.

Whats it gonna take to get some more fans in this place? Ive been here a few times and every time I sweat my balls off with only one fan to cool down at. Either crank down the AC or hit the Home Depot and buy some cheap fans for us old alcoholics to cool down at. Protip: Unclip your knives from your pockets. Skinny doormen have little man syndrome and want to deny entrance even when you comply with them demanding you remove it. Moral of the story is to unclip the pocket knives from your pockets and just slide them down. These doormen are not law enforcement and can t violate your fourth amendment to go through your pockets.

I have been there 3 times since they took over big Texas. After paying to get in, I did not last 5 minutes. It has no soul, and completely dry and Uninviting. Couldn t they have used the promoters big Texas used? Big Texas had soul and vibe. Rowdy just seems pale. It s not rocket science, just ask how big Texas did it and get the right people. I had family relocate to houston just because they loved big Texas. So sad. But it is possible to get the vibe back if the owners are willing to do so. Wish Rowdy s good luck

I fell in the bathroom because a rug covered a drain in the ladies bathroom. Yes, I was wearing heals and many women do. I spilled my drink everywhere. Just my knee but that was okay. I then brought it to the attention of three bartenders and then the manger. I was not trying to get anything free or anything, just really wanted them to know this is an issue and a lawsuit waiting to happen. One bar tender asked if I was okay and the manger only siad I will take care of it and ran off. I later had to use the bathroom and noticed thatand noticed they fixed the problem by covering the drain again with the rug. This made it impossible for anyone to see the two, inset drains. Obviously, not a correct solution. I do have pictures.
