Really wouldve wanted to give it at least a 4. Atmosphere: beautiful. Outdoors is fantastic. Scenery to the water and have large fans for comfort. Service: Maybe it was busier than normal, but not initially slow. Got better as we checked out. Food: I may need to go crawfish season. Had the sampler, but I didnt necessarily love it. But I had to eat something. Burger was pretty good, in my opinion. Queso was pretty good. I wouldve wanted it a bit more dense (less watery). Next time, Ill go different seasons and go for crawfish with hopes of better taste.

Food is good, stay away from the happy hour drinks though, there is little to no alcohol in them. Fried food is decent enough to keep coming back, especially with the view outside on the patio. Staff is always amazing and very friendly, never had a mean / bad waitress here.

We live in Pearland and have spent time at Sam s Boat there and this one in Seabrook. We prefer this one as the service is way better the food is better prepared and the atmosphere is exemplary! We let Christian know and he was very appreciative. We ll be back for sure!

Service was sub par and food was skimpy. $17 for 6 tiny coconut shrimp. They looked and tasted like the ones you buy in the frozen section at the grocery store. The server forgot the crown apple and sprite that my friend ordered and when she finally brought it, it was all watered down. Would not recommend this place and wont be going back.

Nice atmosphere, the food was good, but a little overpriced for the portions. The fried cod basket had 3 small, mozzarella sized sticks. If youre going to have drink specials, you probably shouldnt make them in the smaller cups, thats not a deal. It is pretty deceiving when youre expecting a full sized drink for a good price.

Been here several times for functions and gatherings. I sat at the bar and Syd P was an excellent bartender, handling several folks at once at 2 pm on Wednesday 8/6. I had the house Ceasar which was refreshingly cold and creamy. It s a big salad for the house! The jalapeño poppers were not impressive lots of bread and corn but not much seafood that I could taste and they were stuffed into uncooked jalapeños., seemed to be right out of the can. I won t get them again as there are far better ones around. You can t beat the view though. Too hot to sit outside but nice to see the water. I ll continue to go!

I dont know if the blame the people in kitchen or management for the taste,quality,and presentation of the food. Food tasted like the chef was a cook at a nursing home NO FLAVOR !!! If you go dont order any fish but in case you dont want to heed my WARNING just walk with your old bay or what ever seasoning you like on your fish if you older mash might as well walk with your garlic butter too. They have this lemon butter sauce with crab meat and shrimp BRUH not even a hint of lemon and sauce is creamy the shrimp over cook and almost no crab meat in there. My tasteless blackened fish was textured like baked fish it never saw the cast iron. Lump crab cakes FAIL flavorless hit hint of burn . Its a seat your self i had to skip booth after booth cause the seats had crumbs of food in them. I dont even think my waitress told me her name but all I know is her pupils looked like puss in boots begging eyes . @ management I know your rent must be expensive but if you gonna charge Papadeaux prices make sure the food somewhere near in taste!

I didnt like the crab stuffing in the stuffed jalapeños. Was uncomfortable at the bar but not allowed to sit at empty tables directly behind the bar. Sometimes, just because its not normally done , its OK to allow things for the comfort of your guests. Also, when we ordered a draft beer and the bottled version of it is on special, I would have at least offered that to my guest. I wasnt impressed by any of it.

We really enjoyed Sam s Boat and even came back a second time during our vacation. My daughter loved the fried cod! The crab cakes were delicious. The boiled shrimp were well made, but a little too spicy for my son s liking. The sauce on the redfish was amazing! I loved sitting out near the water. We saw many interesting birds. The service was good. It s a very casual atmosphere. We went for an early dinner one day and lunch another. I could see that at night it could be a much more bar-like setting. Overall, it s great!

Let me say that there s only one thing I come for here and that s the crawfish, this is hands down the best crawfish place. I love Sam s boat they have 3 locations but this one is their best one. Every place has its flaws but that crawfish makes up for it I come here very often & have had no complaints maybe one but nothing more than that and that s all normal, always recommend this place to anyone looking to eat crawfish.

Really bad food. When it arrived I said not what I ordered but I was wrong. Lemon butter was a cream sauce not just lemon and butter. It also had shrimp and crab that I didn t want. I sat at the bar and the first thing waitress said was I need your credit card to hold. I am 55 yes old and well have never been asked to supply credit card before ordering. I had been over 6 months since we hadnt been here. But, both times weve been here, we enjoyed this place! From the service, the food and to top it all THE VIEW; it was 5 . Totally Tasteless food & I m totally dissatisfied with the Ponchartrain sauce paired with the fried redfish, it s been watered down and it s cold, the redfish was fresh & hot but lacked flavor, I had to add salt n pepper. So not worth the cost at all in my opinion. I ve had better at a gas station. Hamburger was ok but they didn t dress it all the way, no lettuce or onion just one slice of tomato. First time visiting the area and was looking for a good non fish n chips entree since I can get that and salmon back home. Google reviews were great for this place, so I decided to give it a try. Was disappointing to find out the shark bites were off the menu because that is what really drew me in, but I wasn t going to let it derail my quest for non midwest fish dish. Bartender Yulissa was extremely sweet & very knowledgeable in helping me decide on a blackened, grilled snapper with lemon butter sauce. Being a sports bar, I kept my expectations in check and it turns out that was completely unnecessary. Not only did Yulissa nail it with her food suggestion, but I had her surprise me with my drink and it was the perfect accompaniment to the food. Also, *chefs kiss* to whoever cooked my food: the fish was tender and perfectly seasoned, red skin potatoes tender, and the mac n cheese was the perfect accompaniment.

Worst experience ever in any restaurant before. 1 hour waiting time for a meal, 20 mins for appetizers. I have not left before just for the nice waitress. The cheese dip was unacceptable. Tasted like they had boiled it. Green beans were tough. Chicken wings were old. Potatoes were on the plate but were sitting in water. I have eaten here many times but never again.

First seafood restaurant we tried when we visited the area. The team was welcoming as soon as we stepped in and helped us get a seat. We ended up taking a seat at the corner outside with a beautiful view! The food was delicious and generous ! Recommend it!

We decided to have dinner at Sams Boat last weekend. It was a very pleasant experience overall. We enjoyed the chill atmosphere and the food was acceptable. The shrimp tacos were pretty spicy but the beer helped tone that down. The best part of the evening was our server, Grace. She was so friendly and attentive to our needs, This doesnt always happen so it was refreshing to have a server that seemed to really care that the patrons needs were met. Next time we want a relaxing dinner, we will be back!
