Savannah was very attentive and sweet, she had very good menu knowledge and recommended the Triple Play, which my husband enjoyed very much. I stuck to the favorite of mine- pecan crusted chicken & it was delicious as usual. Bar drinks came out quick and were presented well also, overall great experience, per usual. Worth the quick drive down 45 from our home in south Houston. We will return!

My wife and I stopped by at this location a few nights ago. We usually go to the BBs in Montrose, but since we were on our way back from Galveston, we figured we d give this one a try. Big mistake. Everything started out fine Mikayla, the bartender, seemed friendly at first. But soon after, things went downhill fast. She started hanging out with what looked like a group of her friends who had came in after we arrived, and suddenly, it was like we didn t exist. She ignored us, and other customers, to sit and chat with her friends. It took forever just to get our drinks, and we waited way too long to place an order. It was obvious she was way more interested in her friends than doing her job. She was even drinking with them! At one point, my wife was so fed up that she flagged down a passing server and asked to speak to a manager. That s when we were told that Mikayla was the manager! I couldn t believe it. A manager, drinking and ignoring customers? Completely unprofessional. I never leave reviews, but this experience pushed me to make my first one. We definitely won t be coming back to this location. If that s how their managers behave, it s just not worth it. Plenty of other businesses in the area that know how to take care of paying customers.

This place is great! The atmosphere is awesome, the servers are always so energetic and friendly. The food is incredible. There isnt anything there that I dont like! My picky eaters love it too! That pecan crusted chicken is amazing! Hubby loves the boil experiences! Kids love the po boys. Even for the pickiest they have chicken strips. Best app is the fries! They have cheese, gravy and tailings!

I was fairly disappointed with the food and the service here. (We have been to the locations in the Houston area) Service was incredibly slow - it was not busy for a Sunday evening. Our waitress did not come by and we had to ask three times for water after we ordered drinks. Food was made incorrectly and did not taste very good. -The kids burger had cheese on it after I ordered it without cheese and mentioning that my son was allergic to dairy. Waitress did not bother to come by to check on us after the food came out and we waited awhile to flag her down to get it corrected. -Blackened Fish Etoufee - The fish was incredibly dry and was not seasoned. The rice on the etoufee was either undercooked or dry/old because it was crunchy. The crawfish etoufee was cold. -Shrimp and Crab Experience - Shrimp and crab was well overcooked. Flavor really wasnt there either. Extremely disappointing to pay $60 for a plate of seafood that was very mediocre. -Boudin Balls - These were good. They ran out of the sauce that typically comes with it.

A party of ten came to BBs two days after hurricane beryl came through. The restaurant just had power restored the night prior and the wait staff was short by several. However, those that were there did AMAZING!! As far as I could tell, there was one waitress serving everyone. She was a rockstar! Although I had never been before that night, the food was delicious. The kitchen staff were also rockstars! And the manager handled the situation very well. Kudos to everyone!!

The atmosphere is nice, I like the decor and the kindness of the waitress but the food is so confusing. The concept of Mexican/Cajun fusion is a good one but the food failed to make that connection. The gumbo tasted like it was frozen and thawed out for service, the crawfish etouffee and catfish was flavorless. The worst insult to culinary arts was the maccaroni and cheese. How can you mess that up? No flavor at all. I do have hopes for this restaurant and I hope they make changes to the way they prepare their food.

I worked as a server in the restaurant business for 21 yrs. I served at Gaido s restaurant in Galveston for nearly 14 years. As a Nurse, I continue to be in the customer service industry. The customer service I experienced with BB s was second to none from start to finish! I called to make reservations 24 hours prior to my birthday celebration for a Friday and requested for a table 12. I spoke with David(the manager) who took great care of me! He was amazing, very professional and personable. Just hours prior to my birthday reservation, I realized I needed a table for 15 not 12. I called the restaurant and spoke with Andrew. When I informed Andrew of my mistake and to my surprise, Andrew assured me that my request was not a big issue. Wow on a Friday during dinner hours, I am truly impressed! Now, it s my spur-of-the-moment birthday celebration at BB s due to a change in my plans. The hostess was awesome! As a former server of 21 years, I always served with pride by meeting the needs of my customers and anticipating their needs. Our server Cory went above and beyond my expectations to make my birthday celebration special. I was in awe with his professionalism, southern charm, kindness and work ethic. Thank you Cory and the staff at BB s for making my 59th birthday celebration a truly memorable birthday! The food was amazing and finger-licking good!

Hostess named Haley was very rude. She sat me and my husband at a dirty table outside and my husband asked her for something to clean the table with (for him to clean) not her. She rolled her eyes and sarcastically replied that s how the table is, it s outside. That was very uncalled for especially if he didn t even ask her to clean the table, he was going to clean it himself but that lady Haley had a stank attitude instead. The Ceviche and Gumbo were good, the chips with ceviche were not good, they needed some chips like Casa Oles. They were burned but crispy, then asked if they could bring a couple lighter ones, those ended up chewy. The service was slow, waitress talked too long with another table and didnt even notice us wanting us to leave when I had my arm up holding my bill and card, she was just laughing with other table. She also dropped drinks earlier. Maybe she was new. We were there at least 20 or more minutes waiting to leave.

NOT RECOMMENDED: Tried ordering my food ahead of time. Called this place. I was told I was going to be put on a brief hold. It was almost half an hour and I already made it to the restaurant physically when I went in there to ask for a manager. I had to wait another 10 minutes and nobody spoke to me. Everybody else was taking care of and I was left to hand there. Unfortunately I had to leave right as I was walking out the door. They started to care and wanted to talk. How about you not leave your customer on the phone for almost half an hour and when they come to you to ask for a manager not leave them for a whole other 10 minutes? Heard yall were the best. Etoufee & Gumbo seemed like it wasn t fresh meat in it. Burger Buns look like it had mold on it. They did good with taking it away and off. I then ordered boudin and shrimps. Boudin was good but shrimps was not fresh. That bullet appetizer was sooooo good tho. My daughter like her crawfish too . I taste one and it tasted pretty good. Hurriancr was too . Maybe I ll come back to try the nacho boudin but idk I m scared that they re not sanitary. We shall see if I come back for the appetizer, margarita and nachos.

We recently visited for my partners birthday and had a great experience. The food and service was both fantastic. They definitely have the best crawfish around! They are located in a very congested area right off the highway, but parking was ample. We went during lunch and they were not busy. There was plenty of seating and the staff was attentive. It was girls night out with my BFF and ended up at the Webster location since we had a great experience at the Heights location. Well it was terrible! My friend was not eating her crawfish etouffee. I took a bite and wanted to throw up. I told the waitress she took it away didn t even offer my friend something else. She never came back until finally so I asked for the bill. Very disappointed in our experience at the Webster location yesterday afternoon. I ordered online to pickup curbside. Ordered catfish dinner which came with two catfish filets, two hush puppies, Cole slaw and I side of green beans. Also asked for French fries. I called when we got there and the guy said let me look. He never came back on the phone. I called again 15 minutes later and the girl said she just got there and would look for it. Finally received it after 20 minutes. Order came to $30.79. Got home and there was no coke slaw or hush puppies. So we paid $30 for two filets green beans and fries. Needless to say, we won t be going back there!

The place had a very fun, eclectic decor really going for the Cajun Creole atmosphere food came out fresh and the appearance was excellent. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. everything was well seasoned the batter on the shrimp was light not hard or crunchy. My partner had the big tuna fried chicken sandwich. didn t get a photo of that because he ate it too fast but it looked fantastic. Very soft bun and plenty of chicken to go around.. We ve been coming to this location for about 2 years during the crawfish season and noticed how bad the service has got. This crawfish season we ve been 3 times and all 3 times we ve had issues with being attended, I ve had to get up every time to try and get a server because if I didn t I would be there for about 30 minutes or more waiting one someone to even take my drink order. The first time we were there an hour waiting on food the server didn t even come and check on us, I went to the front to ask why the food was taking so long after we noticed everyone that got there after us was eating before us, then when they located the server, she forgot to put the food in. 2 & 3 time we went it was horrible service. We ve been going to BBs in the heights for years and that place is super busy and never had bad service especially at a location with 2-3 hour wait list. Plus the quality of the crawfish of this location is not the same at Webster idk who s cooking back there but they need to get it together.

If I could give this restaurant more than a 5 star rating, I would. This was my first time eating here, and EVERYTHING about my visit was phenomenal. When we arrived for my fathers birthday there was a 45-minute wait. However, it seemed more like 20 minutes. Such fast service. Crawfish came out very quickly and delicious. Honestly, everything came out so fresh and delicious. My waitress Adamariz has outstanding customer service. She made my father very happy for his birthday. She always checked in on us and kept our table clean. She is very sweet and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend you try this restaurant and request for Adamariz as your waitress. Wednesday is the best day to go, if you are going for crawfish 5lbs for $35. They we good sized, not super small. We got the Louisiana hot, it was delicious. We added 1/4 mushrooms, red potatoes, and corn (they charge per potato and corn). Also, you can order a mixed greens, green beans, bold eggs and brussel sprouts. My son got a hamburger... home-made bun, with a well cooked patty, and the fried are shoe string. The only bad thing about this experience... they were out of almost every beer in bottle form. I had ordered a michelada ( pretty good, not super spicy) , it took right at 30 mins for me to get my drink. Others at the table had already obtain their first drinks. All that stated, we will be going back again on Wednesday! You cant beat that price and I will just order water . P.s. I forgot to mention.... we started everything off with shrimp empanadas! They were delicious! The sauce was a jalapeños ranch ! Now, the empanadas were good without the sauce, but they were a little more on the fishy side, but still delicious! It consists of a little potato, and carrotwith cheese and shrimp. If you are a shrimp lover, you will enjoy them! Parking: The parking around the building will most likely be scarce, but there is parking on the side of the building. Just be mindful of small children. Kid-friendliness: They have a decent menu for the Littles, and if they tend to be louder... no one with know. It is little loud.

Sad Update (April 2024): Please see review below to know how much I love this restaurant (and location). COVID changed a lot, but it seems to have changed BBs permanently. Weve been back multiple times over the years, but with the last few visits weve seen a changed menu (many things reduced or removed), much smaller portions, and decreased quality. The staff is still friendly and helpful, but dishes like the once shareable dinner portion of chicken tenders (which came with 12 tenders, a plate of fries, garlic bread and hush puppies) have been reduced to 3 chicken fingers (literally the size of my thumb), a small serving of fries, no bread or hush puppies...but for the same price . I dont mind smaller servings (Lord knows we already eat big in Texas) if the quality is good, but sadly its just not the same. Oh geez whats not to love at BBs?? Fried pickles, etouffee, chicken fingers (you get 12 of maybe the best ever!), crawfish, yummy fries, rice and sides . Im never disappointed and always stuffed when I leave!

We went after church on Easter Sunday for the crawfish special. There was about a 20 min wait for the first available seating, but we waited an extra 5-10 minutes because the kitchen was backed up. The hostess did apologize for the wait. Our service was ok. When asked, our waitress recommended the Pecan crusted chicken, which I tried, and it was delicious. Even though it was busy, our waitress just wasnt as attentive as some of the others. The food (shrimp poboy, kids shrimp and fried catfish & shrimp) came out pretty fast. It was hot and delicious. Sat us with the sun blaring in our eyes. We moved ourselves. Forgot the salad then served wrong side. Received corrected plate after meals were done. Never refilled our drinks. Had to ask for our waitress. Grits were gross with nacho cheese sauce, salmon and rice was good. Lemonade was aweful. Switched for tea. Bbs should do better.

This is my family s go-to spot during crawfish season. Jolie was the best server we ve ever had, and it was her first day on the floor! GO JOLIE!! She was so personable and attentive. Crawfish were good as always, the Tex-Orleans way and my fav beer (Abita Strawberry) was in stock! We sat outside bc it was a beautiful day and the inside ALWAYS smells of old mop water

I really enjoy going to BBs Tex-Orleans! Great Cajun Comfort food! I have tried a few locations and have found that they are consistent with each other! I started off visiting them for the boiled Crawfish! A good enough reason on it on but in the off season I found other temptations to satisfy my cravings! The etouffee is very good and the shrimp and grits is a favorite as well! But lately I have found something on their menu that really hits the comfort spot with me and is only served one day of the week, the Beef Debris and Grits! It is Slap ya Momma good to me! I really try to give other menu items a chance to Get in my Belly but I do love the Debris! Have always had good servers, friendly and helpful. The place is always clean and bright. Usually never over crowded. And that is what keeps me coming back for more! Great work BBs Tex-Orleans!

Togo order via Uber eats. My wife placed a pickup Togo order 6:40 through the Uber eats app. Approached half empty bar 7:20-25 and waited over 5 minutes to be greeted only to be ignored for 15 minutes more while food was sitting in plain site just out of arms reach...by the time the bartender presented our food it was not only missing the chix entree and utensils but the ice cream was practically room temperature; fries and fried oyster poboy were cold and soggy. We then waited well over an hour for the refire to finally arrive including the forgotten chix. We were nevered offered a beverage while waiting at the bar for more than 60minites! I saw no barback/ busboy/ or service support staff of any kind, when asked a server to speak with the M.O.D. she said its the bartender?!?. Not sure how a solo bartender with the entire bar for her section includes a seating capacity of best guess well over 40 which was half full can effectively supervise the Front of the House is beyond my comprehension..... I have a few years hospitality experience which garners an excessive understanding of b.o.h./f.o.h. shortcomings but this experience failed at every point of service.......labor costs, insufficient staffing is none of my business... Operation with all Indians and no chief--same result--none of my business.

Omg where do I start my fiancé and I went here at 11am soon as they opened (Ordered to go) the food was priced at $80 but that s expected .food was poorly done (Rockdale red fish) was dry like it was a piece of fish they gave us from days ago! The sauce that goes on the fish was missing! The gumbo was HORRIBLE! My Morgan city pasta had no shrimp and I paid for EXTRA! Go to the pearland location or MONTROSE!

Waitress was nice and helpful. The poboy with shrimp was okay, was lacking in flavor. The snow crabs, dungeons crab, and shrimp were EXTREMELY SALTY! So salty, that myy son, husband and friend could not eat it. They had to wipe or rinse off the salty sauce in order to try to eat it. It was still salty. The chef needs to pull back on the salt.

Lunch today was terrible. Our waitress was sweet so we didnt want to complain but everything was old and fried to death. The fried pickles had no pickle as theyd been fried through. The fish dry. The hishpuppies burnt. The coleslaw had no dressing. The garlic bread was a salty crouton. The mens restroom was covered in urine. I wont be back nor would I recommend.

We came to BB s this past weekend because I normally order crawfish from there. We dined outside. Of course, it s not crawfish season so we had to try something different. We got the boiled shrimp. The shrimp was just as good as the crawfish. My mouth is still watering. I wish I caught our waiters name because he was on top of it and deserves recognition! I drove about town on the last day of my trip looking for something good to eat as I scrolled I saw a few restaurants with a few things that sounded good. When I came across bbs everything looked good I saw at least 15 items I wanted to try it it became my dinner choice. I over ordered since so much sounded good ye I still loved everything I got so me and my to go boxes left full and happy still. I love the beef sandwiches and the gumbo. The sausage is a great app if you know what to expect. And drink up the drinks are tasty and perfectly strong.

The food was unbelievably good and super fresh last evening when we dined here. We were a party of 11 !! And our waitress, Olivia, did a phenomenal job of covering not only our large party but nearly the entire restaurant! Waitstaff was at a premium! She was very sweet, still attentive even though very taxed, and did a tremendous job getting all the drinks and food out correctly. Food was a total disappointment. Ordered Red Beans and Rice and Large Shrimp gumbo, along with Impanadas. Both orders were tasteless, extremely bland. The rice with both orders was hard, as if it were left over and heated in a microwave. Two of the shrimp in the gumbo still had the shell on them. The Gumbo was very bland in taste. Even the Impanadas were bland. We paid a lot of money for the terrible food we received. If you want a good Cajun restaurant, search around for another. I do not recommend BB Tex Orleans.

Went on 9/18/23 with my daughter but decided too leave due too very horrible service first the hostess wasnt no where than you had a employee just standing there the waiter sat us down wouldnt even ask us if wanted anything to drink we waited for 10m without any service on a place that wasnt even busy so we decided to leave.
