This is THE spot for sushi and rolls. I take to go for five years and value is unbelivable! It tastes just as good or better than most upscale restaurants. Its always fresh and they make it really fast. Staff is friendly and extremely polite, clean dining area, tables and restrooms. Way to go! Thank you HK!

One of our favorite local sushi spots. Sushi and rolls are amazing and larger portions than most other sushi restaurants. Wine and alcohol are also generous pours. Im half Japanese and picky about quality of fish. THIS PLACE IS THE REAL DEAL. They have the things that matter to real sushi enthusiasts and not just the rolls that most restaurants seem to focus on (although they do have excellent rolls!). Quality of fish for the price point is absolutely unbeatable! Service can be a little iffy (be patient for your drink refills or get used to flagging people down), but Ill keep coming and telling other people to come as long as their food remains awesome.

Listen up guys, the entire country of Japan couldnt even dream of producing better sushi than this place. The atmosphere is quiet and calming, the servers are terrific at being attentive but not too intrusive. Everything about this place merits 5 stars and more. I purchased a Texas Boat for $50 and got about $10 worth of sushi, if even that. Ended up having to cook afterwards because of the deceptive title. You would be better off going to MK, Takara or Taste of Asia in terms of quality and price. I have never received so little sushi for $50. I had to check my order multiple times to make sure I had the right thing. A sushi boat, especially a $50 TEXAS boat should feed at least two people. Consider renaming this dish something like Low Effort Ripoff Sushi or Money Grab Boat.

Fantastic rolls EXCEPT I ordered an avocado roll and the avocado was extremely firm. I could barely stick a fork into it, let alone eat it. And I had ordered 2, so sadly it ruined my meal personally. (I am pregnant and ordered delivery, I cant have most regular rolls).

I chose this place because it was rated so high, however my experience wasnt the best. The menu doesnt clearly put if theres tempura bits on some of their rolls. This is an issue because I have celiac disease, I cant eat anything with wheat on it. I told the server this when I received my rolls with tempura bits and inquired about why it wasnt listed on the menu. She just took a new order and ensured the next ones didnt have tempura on them which was nice. However I ended up having to pay for the uneaten mishaps and the new rolls. Kind of sucked but Im not hurting for money, so whatever. After 10 minutes of eating though, a huge horse fly lands on my roll and just runs all over it. I caught it and threw it out the door. At this point I was done and decided to leave with the person I came with. I paid and decided to just not come back. Id highly suggest listing tempura bits on the menu and investing in fly traps.

We have always enjoyed our visits here. Today we had Gyoza, Cajun edamame, the Fort Worth roll, TTC roll, and Austin roll. Presentation was great! My favorite was the Austin roll. It melts in your mouth and has such a soft mouth-feel. My husbands favorite was the TTC roll for the balanced textures (crunchy and soft). I didnt love the Cajun edamame but my husband did -- but then again I dont love Cajun seasonings and it was his pick. We will be back!

My daughter found this gem of a restaurant when searching for an alternative to Blue Fish. And I must say, what a gem it is! Favorite sushi restaurant! I ve been to many a sushi restaurant all over Fort Worth from super expensive to hole in the wall cheap. And HK is hands down my favorite. The staff is super kind and very amenable to any modifications or preparing sushi any way you d like! Give them a try they won t disappoint!

Wow! I thought I knew Sushi but this fine establishment has completely redefined the word for me. The sushi here is thoughtfully prepared and of the highest quality that I ve ever experienced. Everything was beautiful presented and the ratios of proteins to rice was enormous. I tried almost every fish they had available and all were extremely tender and flavorful. The crab and egg rolls were overflowing with their main ingredients. Also, service was prompt and courteous. Honestly, this operation is underpriced and is something I would have expected to experience in downtown Dallas or Manhattan for 2-3 times the price.

Im so happy to have this place so close to my house. I havent had a single thing there that I wouldnt order again; everything looks beautiful and tastes delicious. For apps, the pokemon ball and the sushi nachos are great. Weve ordered most, if not all, of the specialty rolls over multiple visits. The standouts for us were: the sashimi roll--- its wrapped in cucumber instead of rice, so its light and refreshing. the mountain roll-- its an actual mountain of sushi thats fun to eat I could keep going, but you really cant go wrong with anything here. The restaurant (and restroom) is clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful, make sure your drink is never empty. The food comes quickly & if always impeccably presented. You wont regret coming here!
