Basic Chinese cusines. Flavor and quality are good. Portions are fair. The quality of ingredients is fresh. A family business that provides daughter waiting tables while Mom and Dad prep and cook in the back. The waitress is mature and friendly. Mom will come meet you checking that all is good. The business is very quiet with dim lighting. A great joint for a private relaxed mesl.

Weve only ever ordered delivery. They do their own version of orange chicken that isnt my favorite, but the teriyaki chicken is delicious. I think just about everything comes with steamed broccoli with the meat. The sauce is watery, however. If you put everything in a big bowl, especially with the rice, it goes together nicely. All deliveries have been with nice people and gone smoothly.

This was our first time ordering Ying. The customer service was the best. Made sure I had everything I needed when I picked up our order. The food was delicious. We got the Mongolian beef, chicken lo mein, egg rolls, and some cream cheese rangoons. Everything was cooked perfectly. We will definitely be frequent customers from here on out.

Everything ordered tasted off Orange chicken was tasteless, undercooked, and looked like Buffalo chicken bites, not succulent orange chicken. No vegetables in the fried rice, it looked to be white rice with soy sauce and a little fried egg mixed in, i couldnt eat any of my meal. I wont be dining in or ordering take out from this establishment ever again, just moved to Watauga, thought Id give the place by the house a shot, the only way I could be more let down and disappointed would be to sit and reflect on my extremely poor life choices that brought me to this point in my life.....

I ordered the combination lo mein. The flavor was off, and they used what looked to be thin spaghetti noodles. The beef and chicken inside was good, but the shrimp was not. The orange chicken was soggy, no breading and not crispy at all. It had a strange amount of shaved orange peels in it. The rice that came with the orange chicken was not cooked well, either. It was too wet. Maybe cooked too long? The spring roll was really good, though.

We ordered soup and vegetables with rice, very simple order. Both waitresses are taking online and walk in to-go orders instead of serving people who dine in. There are no other tables to serve either. It has been over 35 minutes and we still have not received our food. The waitress has never checked on us either. Very bad service, do not come here. This is the worst chinese restaurant I have ever been. We ended up leaving, this is ridiculous to wait for food for so long in an empty restaurant. The young waitress is also clueless, I asked the size of their small vs large bowl, her reply I cant explain it.

I would not recommend this place. I ordered take out tonight and will be going to bed hungry. I ordered the pepper steak and Mongolian beef, along with crab ragoon and dumplings. The meat was disgusting. Floppy, thin, rubbery and tasted like nothing. I dont even think it was real beef. The crab ragoon had a teaspoon of filling. And the dumplings had absolutely no taste to them. Spending $40, I would think I would get better food, but I guess not. Will not be returning. Service was slow as well for a Friday night, with barely any customers. Now I know why.

Tiny overcooked pieces of orange chicken. Literally one piece that actually had any chicken in it. Portions were very small. Typically there are regular sized portions and actual pieces of chicken but this afternoon mustve been an off night. Me and my family are less and less choosing Yings due to such reduced quality. A typical Chinese restaurant. It has your classic Chinese dishes youd expect to find. Orange chicken. It was alright. It was a little on the bland side. I like the orange peels. !Lo Mein. Looks sketchy but very good! Me and a friend were waiting to go bowling next door and were hungry, deciding where to get food. We found this restaurant and wanted to give a try and were happy in general. Food was great for a small chinese restaurant and the owners were nice and loving. I d come back here to help with the business for sure! My only say about this business is that it seems very slow, but again I didn t recognize this restaurant until I saw it in person, and I don t think many people know about this place. I hope more people come often to help this business grow and perhaps they could redecorate the interior ? Hopefully :)

Menu states lunch specials 7 days a week are $7.95. Four of us (ages 68 to 75) chose what we wanted. When server returned to take our orders, we were told that we had to choose from the Dinner selection ($11.75), even though it was Noon. Not sure why she didnt say that when she placed the menus in front of us. By the way, it was Mothers Day. My meal, per the menu, was to have a variety of vegetables in it. It came with lots of brocolli and a tiny bit of carrot. Needless to say, I wont be back. (Bathroom could stand an extra scrub too)!

I love their food.. Their egg rolls are my favorite out of anywhere, I love the thin and crispy skin and beef inside. Their lo mein is greaty; saltly in a good way but not too much, not sweet, includes a lot of meat, and includes bamboo shoots. The portions are generous, and filling. Those items (I have only ordered those 2 items during my visits here) remind me of the homemade Cantonese food that I make.

Greeted as soon as I walked in, fast and friendly service, good portions at a fair price. My favorite is the teriyaki chicken, rich, thick sauce and I like the caramelized white meat chicken. Upon arrival, my husband and I were seated and waited exactly 26 minutes before even getting our order taken. After that we noticed another table s food had been sitting on the counter waiting for the waitress to bring them to the other table. Mind you, its only one other table besides us. The plates sit there for another 15 minutes as the waitresses were talking and chuckling around not attending to the ready made plates in the window. We had no choice but to leave and find another place to eat.

The best Chinese food Ive ever had in the US (out of 20 or so contenders)! The steamed rice tastes so nostalgic, the chicken is super tender, the egg rolls are amazing, and the portions are generous! On top of that, the food looks to be prepared very carefully and everyone was very nice when I picked up our order. This place is the definition of filthy! My feet were sticking to the floor everywhere I walked and there is stuff piled all over behind the counter. Waited over 1 hour for soggy inedible cold mush. We live less than 2 miles away. Maybe they were just busy I think as we patiently await our food. It finally arrived and was like warm at best. The fried dumplings were soggy. My wifes con fried rice we assumed would be safe. The chicken was mushy and soggy... The rice was hard and bland. My dish was doused in a neon orange sauce that was sickneningly sweet along with their classic mushy chicken. So soft and soggy you could squeeze it through your fork. Kinda like play dough.. the egg drop soup was just as cold and just as flavorless and disappointing. I reallllly like Chinese food... Heck I even can enjoy mediocre chinese food. But buyer beware... Anything you make at home is better than this...

I have been eating here for years and the food is always fantastic. I came back to new owners....same great food! I love the Hot Sour Soup...it is dark, rich and full of flavor. The orange chicken with the fresh crispy broccoli is a fan favorite. You can also go meatless with the Mixed Veggies...I order the veggies in their brown sauce and I ask for it extra spicy. The shrimp toast my sister ordered was basically just grease and her shrimp fried rice was boiled shrimp? This was disappointing based on the expectations prior reviews gave us. We will definitely not be going back.

So the delivery was pretty fast, food was good. BUT I ordered the Crab soup, which is supposed to be crabmeat with cream corn, they literally gave me Egg Drop soup with a few pieces of corn in it and charged me $7. I wont do that again.

Hands down, best Chinese food in Texas. not even exaggerating. I have never found a Chinese restaurant that stacks up to Ying. Please give this place a try, you will not regret it. Honestly the only place that does shrimp toast and fried rice right.

Good, clean food! My first delivery took a long time, but worth the wait. When I called about my order the staff was courteous. The online ordering process was seamless and they got every part of my order correctly, even my special request! The food was clean, not greasy and the flavors were fantastic. The price is very fair and the portions are great as well! Will order from here again!
