Worse costumer service. Bought a family meal and the side was so small! How am i supposed to feed my family??? Its supposed to be a family meal!!!! Anyways never going back it was our first time too . The guy was disrespectful tours my wife the cashier was in a rush and mind you there was no costumers that day.

I went to the drive through and theres a sign there that says somebody will be out here in a few moments I stood out there 2 minutes and nobody came, So that I started pulling up and somebody opens the drive through window and is waiting there with Paper and pencomma I had asked him if anybody was supposed to come out there all he said was what can I get for you, So I placed my order and as soon as I got done somebody pulled up behind me and within 20 seconds 1 of the employees went out to The car. So service can be touch and go

This is the second or third time the food and service has been just subpar. First service you could literally sit there for 10 mins or more before anyone acknowledges your there. Food should probably be first but having to wait to order meh food is the first warning. My wife ordered tenders, fries, okra, and a order of livers for me.tenders and okra were good. Fries were about burned, gravy i think water is thicker and more flavorful. As for the livers some were burned and dry and then 1 was kinda more livery tasting than it should have. Should have stopped there cause the next breading was cooked but nothing else. Just about raw and putrid tasting. Not sure what has happened there they used to be amazing. We will be going elsewhere from now on. Would have been nice if the would have picked up the phone when called but thay goes back to #1.

The food was delicious (we had the chicken fried steak) it was a lot of food and worth the price, which was very reasonable. The cashier Taylor was very sweet, and so were the rest of the employees. We will definitely be back as it is now a new favorite.

I ordered online for my family. I added extras to the family meals of tenders of 4 dipping sauces and a small coleslaw. I got none of the extra things i ordered when my husband brought it home. Then when i called to let them know the items were missing i got 2 different phone numbers with some kind of waiting service.When i finally got through ssomeone who claimed to be Robert hung up on me . I will be going in person to try and solvr this I dont feel I was rude or verbally assaultive in any manner and it was completely rude to hang up on someone for trying to get items they paid for. Im heading up there now.

We were pleasantly surprised to return to The Chicken Place and find their quality and pricing to be so good. We stopped coming here after a competitor moved into our neighborhood with similar pricing, but less food quality, but good enough for convenience. But we stopped going to the competitor (Lisas) since they raised their prices but not their quality. The Chicken Place is worth the drive and well be going here as long as their value remains superior.

went in for a quick bite. Have been driving by for years and intrigued by the catering trucks they have parked outside. Took a while for them to acknowledge my presence, she kept putting together takeout orders and finally got my order. Chicken was OK, not my type of fried chicken. Too doughy and not much seasoning. This is special fast food chicken. I cant think of anything bad to say about it. It was fresh, clean, and non-greasy with good flavor. Even the breading on the chicken had a nice texture.There are several dips to choose from and they all were good.The rolls were light and airy. I could probably eat too many of those.

Well, I decided to give The Chicken Place a try....AGAIN. Even though I live only about 6 blocks away I quit going there about 4 years ago due to the poor quality of their food. Recently I read some good reviews on a foody website and thought maybe they had closed the book on poor quality. Unfortunately they have not! I ordered the 3 piece chicken meal and ask the young man taking my order to make sure it was screaming hot please. I received my order in a reasonable amount of time, paid and drove home. I set down to eat, mind you no more than 4 minutes had elapsed from the time I departed The Chicken Place until I sat down to eat. When I opened the box there were 3 chicken tenders, a small handful of fries, a small container of runny white gravy and 1 roll so hard I couldnt chew it. And of course the chicken tenders that I did not order were barely warm, extremely dry so much so that I couldnt eat part of it. You may ask why I didnt take it all back due to the fact I live so close, well it so happens it was raining heavily and it wasnt worth getting soaked. Again, I will not be returning there, and $10.81 mistake I wont make again.

Blows the competition away. Forget KFC, Chicken Express, Raising Canes, and Popeyes, this has been my go to for fried chicken for the past year. The staff is friendly, food is pretty good, and service is fast. Cant ask for much more from a fast food establishment. Kid-friendliness: Chalkboard paint and chalk for kids to draw on the walls, pure genius! My kids love going just so they can draw on walls.

My company ordered this food for catering and wasnt impressive. The stuffing had an outrageously strong hint of mustard which caught everyone off guard as stuffing/dressing is the last side youd expect to have a mustard taste to it. Not to mention the consistency was of a thick pudding. The turkey was a gummy texture and the mashed potatoes tasted like instant but not in a good way. The green beans were overly sweet and the gravy was extremely watery and lacked flavor. The rolls were good but in regards to a thanksgiving meal as a whole this was not it and extremely disappointing.

My familys new favorite chicken place! Reasonable prices and delicious food! Other chicken places have raised their prices and its gotten ridiculous. We decided to try this place and you get so much more for your money. The portions are plentiful and the quality has been excellent every single visit. The teenagers that run the drive-thru are always very polite and friendly as well. Do yourself a favor and try their fries! They are always seasoned perfectly while fresh and hot! I love this place, the food is amazing, the service is always good with a smile, and friendly. They make your food when you order so its hot, but they are fast. Ive only ordered thru drive-thru, heads up they dont have a speaker, because its hard to understand orders, so either someone comes out, and takes your order, or you pull to the window and order. I love that about this place because its more personable. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves good homestyle chicken, with sides, gravy, and rolls. They even have chicken livers and gizzards!! Which I love! They have a variety of different meal options to choose from and they cater. Parking: They have a medium size parking lot with enough space if you dine in. I believe they do a lot of catering though because they have several catering vans on the premises also, but its a nice area. Hands down the best chicken place around! The chicken is crunchy and perfectly seasoned, the sides are wonderful.. especially the broccoli rice, but the creamy gravy and mashed potatoes are great too. The green beans are cooked and seasoned perfectly, not dead like most places (Im looking at you, Babes). Corn on the cob still nice and crunchy, and the rolls! Omg, the rolls are so good! Soft and fluffy.... we dont treat ourselves to fried chicken too often, so when we do, its gotta be The Chicken Place. One note: they make it to order, so be prepared to wait a few minutes in your car while they make it. TOTALLY worth it.

Finding a place that actually serves bone in chicken pieces seems to be a rare find in this area, but this place fits the bill serving up fried chicken and tenders. Decent sides. Drive thru ordering, but no mic. Instead a person comes out to take your order or you order from the delivery window. Chicken is crispy, well seasoned, not dry. Price is a little more than I would expect, but many places have increased prices these days.

What a disappointment. We made the mistake of going an hour before they closed. My green beans were two distinct colors, textures, and flavors, half inedible. Awesome chicken, great prices given how expensive chicken is right now! Crispy and cooked well, but the real winner was the FRIES. Gotta be my new favorite fries! The seasoning, the crispiness contrasted with the softness and they are big fries cooked consistently- no bits of burnt pieces, every delicious fry got eaten up! Our family and even picky toddler was so busy stuffing their faces I barely got a picture of the fries! 10/10 would recommend!

This place has good food... if/when they actually have any. The last several times Ive been there, the few available side dishes are old & dried out or they only have 2-3 to choose from. I am a stickler for finding small businesses to patron and The Chicken Place fits the bill. The dining area was tidy but in need of a really deep cleaning. The staff randomly wore gloves when handling food. Like the 3 people serving food, 1 person had on gloves. She was cleaning, then handling customers orders... I asked the worker that handled my order to put on gloves before handling my food and he acted befuddled as to why I would ask him to. He reluctantly found some in the back, then used the same nasty scoops to get the sides... The sides look like they had been in the warmer and undisturbed for hours and hours. Dried-out mac and cheese, dull vegetables, and corn-on-the-cob appeared to have sat in its juices covering only half while the exposed half was dried out. Disgusting!! I had already paid for it. I dont recommend this restaurant for takeout until they change their sanitation routine. Not going back.

Went there for lunch as a first timer. I ordered the chicken fried steak with Mac n cheese and a corn as sides. Food was ok but not impressed. I love a good chicken fried steak and this was just ok. Mac n cheese was good and cheesy but not warm enough. Corn was buttery and hot. The thing that turned me away from visiting a next time are the following, 1. Cook in kitchen was swatting flies with a fly scattered behind the cooked chicken (dont know if raw food is behind where the chicken is under warming lamps) 2. Several flies were hanging out on the window. One seemed dead. 3. Cob webs in corners of windows and booths. Cleanliness is vital in any food establishment.

This was a bad experience. This was my first time (and last) eating here. Everything i ordered was a disappointment. I ordered the 10 piece w 2 sides and a dessert. The issues: Broccoli Rice n Cheese - bland, pasty and overcooked. Green beans - very overcooked, grey, and flavorless. Rolls - HARD-stale and inedible - they over-microwaved them to heat them up - why did you even bother serving these? Banana Pudding - what a joke - no bananas and vanilla pudding = No banana flavor - why is this on your menu? Chicken - no flavor, no seasoning other than salt.

Pretty good fired chicken tender place. Their fried okra is amazing and the chicken has good flavor. They also have fried chicken livers and gizzard which can be hard to find.

This place is super expensive compared to other chicken Tender spots like Canes and Golden Chick, which in my opinion are much better. I will not be back here. The prices here appear to be the norm, not inflation prices

Today on tuesday september 13th -2022 my husband went to the chicken place to get us some dinner. There was 3 cars in front of him and it took 30 minutes to get our order and when he got the bag he looked inside and my meal wasnt in the bag so he had to go park and go inside to get my food that took another 10 minutes all together 40 minutes there which is CRAZY. We only live right down the street and by the time he got home the food was cold and chicken was over cooked and the dinner rolls were rock hard. We will never go there again. when people go out to get something to eat they want their orders right and hot fesh food not over cooked tuff chicken thats been sitting there all day and hard rolls mashed potatoes was ok but cold.

When you gotta have some good chicken and dont have several hours to wait for Babes this is a very worthy second. Good flavor, crispy on the outside juicy on the inside. Fried okra and red potatoes are my favorite sides. Will be back when my fried chicken craving hits.

Well this was my fourth time trying. This location hires children that are of working age but have attitude that dont care if they mess up your order. Ive watched two of them get in a fight behind the counter screaming at each other while Im sitting there waiting to pay because they forgot that I hadnt even paid and were just going to let me leave with my food. The first couple of times they messed up it was because they forgot food which is understandable. I go back up there pay for my food whatever The third time was the big fight. This time I call up there to place my order and the little girl that answers the phone is completely rude and disrespectful. I go ahead place my order and I let her know like this is the fourth time Im giving you a chance. Can you please triple check my order to make sure that its correct? Sure thing and she hung up on me. Im done with this location If you want good food. Its not a bad place to go. But if you want to be respected while you order your food and eat your food, I dont recommend trash employees

You have wonderful chicken and to die for fried okra, 5 stars, but your service? 3 or maybe even less. My son and I drove up there to order him a tenders meal. We were the only ones there, there were 5 workers that I could see and it took FOREVER for the meal to be made. I felt that maybe its because they were cooking chicken fresh, but I dont know for sure. We got home and the dinner had the incorrect sides and the gravy lid had not been put on and spilled out everywhere, everything was coated with gravy and no we didnt tip the bag over in transit. Now, I understand mistakes happen, I do, but this is quality control issue. Pay attention to what is going out to the customer and you will win in the end, when I have to turn around and drive back to rectify, it sours me from shopping there for a very, VERY long time, Im sure Im not the only one.

We normally really like this restaurant... unfortunately last evening it was not great. Our rolls were ROCK HARD (some were burnt/very dark brown)... The fried chicken was ok, no seasoning other than salt the corn nuggets and gravy had so much salt it was inedible. We spent over $60 on dinner for our family of 9 and half of it got thrown away.

One of my top restaurants in the area. I go here almost once a week. I ve only ever gotten it to go, and never eaten inside. The food is cooked very fresh which means that the to go box gets pretty steamy inside. I usually avoid getting the food soggy by cracking the lid of the box a bit, or by punching a few holes in the top of the box. The fries are larger crinkle cut, and are so crispy on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. Plus they have their own dry seasoning that s pretty tasty. The chicken is very tender with a crunchy breading that s seasoned fairly. If you re ordering from the drive through it usually takes a few minutes, but again, that s because they cook the food fresh. The staff is generally pretty friendly and accommodating. If you haven t been, you should absolutely hit the chicken place up!

Ordered 2 / 6 piece tender meals with fries ( 6 fries in one and 8 in the other) and ordered a 4 piece with mashed potatoes. Got home and my sweet tea was unsweet. Rolls burnt for $40 I really expected better then this. We eat at least once a week there ( well we uses to but after today never again) called up to talk to management and after my complaint she asked for me to bring it back to replace. After I asked how to make a review she hung up on me. Gave one star because no star wasnt a option

The food isnt nearly as good as chicken express. You will be disappointed. Also their rolls were burnt, and I asked for fresh rolls, and they said all their rolls were burnt, when I saw some in the oven that werent. The tea isnt as good as chicken express, the corn nuggets arent sweet, the rolls are awful and hard, and the chicken is of good quality but not the breading. Its hard and dry. Im not coming back.

Has a very poor customer service and attitude one of the orders we asked for poppers and when got the food she gave corn nuggets not jalapeno poppers and asked about it she got attitude and said that what she calls poppers doesnt matter what the sign shows. We had to pay for 3 piece and she finally brought them out and 1 was still frozen inside and informed her and she got bad attitude about and asked what do you want me to do and said want another one and she went back slammed the door. When she brought the other one out it was almost burnt and said with rudeness have bless day and went back slammed door again. Very unprofessional.

I work for child nutrition and if I told my boss I didn t want to feed the kids I would loose my job. Just working with there phones in there hand ? Come on boss I don t want to finish my job? Order a pick up order (had a free $20 DoorDash credit to use) on12/6/2021 and I am very pleased! Ordered a 4 piece tender combo with a roll, mashed potatoes & gravy. Comes with a large drink. Also ordered a 6 piece chicken liver with a roll & gravy. Everything tasted very good & the tenders are good size. The 6 chicken livers are half a large to-go container full! Their cream gravy is very tasty, so got an extra one. The food was ready when I arrived 15 minutes after placing the order. The chicken livers were practically melting their way out of the container, no one will complain about receiving cold food. The young man at the counter was very pleasant to deal with. All for $20 bucks, well actually FREE

My family and I have been coming here for years and years. Usually a really good place for take out. Until recently. 2 peace chicken for 8 dollars. A tiny wing and a small cup of mashed potatoes and gravy. Literally a shot glass is bigger than the wing and the cup of mashed potatoes and gravy. I understand cutting back a little but my key fob for my truck is bigger than the chicken oce been getting.
