I ordered the Chicken La Madeleine. The chicken and broccoli were delicious. The rice was not to my taste. Service was good, just not great. The almond croissant was very dry and obviously at least one day old if not older. Quite disappointing. I will probably go back to give it a second chance but definitely not impressed on my first visit.

Nice place for little lunch out with your friends. I had salad sampler which you can pick three salads or two salads with a cup of soup of your choice. Their tomato basil soup is good, chicken salad was awesome and kale and quinoa salad was very unique. Dont forget to taste their buttery flakey croissant! We were in pronto,order was fast and efficient,food was fresh and tasty. Will come again. Plus it was after 1 pm ,wasnt busy at all. so if you want to relax ,come after peak hours. Their pastries are so yummy. I recommend.

Veronica took such great care of my friend and I. We have been to this location a multitude of times and the service has been excellent, but today was extra special because of our encounter with Veronica. I love la Madeleine! I almost always get the chicken Friand and mushrooms soup (yes, a mushroom fest!! Mom said the Beef and Parmesan potatoes were fabulous, my son had the Crepe - He always loves. **This is the 2nd time Ive actually gone to buy a cake with my food and I get a PIECE of cake. Yes, it was my fault this time that I was so tired I missed the price being wrong. When someone asks for a Cake - at least ask them if it is a piece of cake, before you decide for them. I picked up food for 3 people and asked for a Coconut Cake! Didnt get more desserts. That should have been their first clue that it wasnt one piece for 3 people to share. My mom loves their Cake. Too bad it wasnt until I was at home before I realized they did it - again! Last time I noticed at the checkout. And, had to tell the girl that I really did mean a Whole CAKE when I asked for a cake. Missing out on sales, they didnt offer any more. There was no would you like to try - nothing. She was somewhat distracted and busy even though I was the only customer at the time.

The dessert was delicious. I had the coconut cream cake and the sacher torte slice. The price for the pasta was a bit high considering the amount, not to mention it was just ok. I got the chicken cordon Bleu pasta. The bread that it comes with is super salty. I ended up having to scrape the salt off of it. You place your order at the register , you pay, they give you a number, and theyll come out and bring it to you.

Update: We came here again to meet and have lunch before daughter s graduation. Every time we come here we see Billy, who busses the tables and brings things to people. He s possibly the nicest man I ve ever met. Always with a sweet disposition and a smile. So happy to have this restaurant in Waco. WONDERBAR!!! We love this place. I can t believe I haven t reviewed it before. We stopped by here and grab lunch while visiting our kids in college. I had this great spinach salad with vinaigrette dressing and grilled chicken. It was amazing! I m going to post more pictures because we usually eat here twice every time we come to Waco. The place is always clean well lit and the staff is very friendly!

I stopped by with two small children on a long road trip and ordered food to go. When the cashier realized we were not eating in the establishment, she moved our ticket to the end of the online Togo order line. We waited for an unusually long amount of time for our food and watched people who ordered after us get served. This was extremely frustrating. When I started eating my food in the car, I found my sandwich was missing some of the ingredients such as tomato that had been listed in the description.

We always enjoy dining at La Madeleine. 1/30/2024 at lunch time. It was very busy. All associates were moving quickly but one in particular, ANGELA went above and beyond in pleasantness, helpfulness, knowledge about the menu & concern for her clients. She couldnt have been nicer or more attentive. She moved at the speed of light doing her job (and it WAS busy). She definitely should be recognized as a valued employee. SHE is the reason my friend and I will come back! With gem employees like her, why would we eat anywhere else? Parking: Never a problem. There are always plenty of spaces. Wheelchair accessibility: There were several elderly patrons with walkers and a wheel chair. They seemed to find comfortable seating and had plenty of room to maneuver.

I came here to buy some soup and fruit spreads and everyone is so quick to help. When I got home, I realized there was an issue with one of the fruit spreads so I called the store and the manager told me to come in whenever I could and they would replace it for me. When I went it, they helped me get the right fruit spread, and made the experience very quick and didn t make me feel like I was burdening them by asking them to do something. The food is always great here and so is the service.

From traditional breakfasts and mimosas, to fancy pastries, to crepes and pasta dishes and French Dips and balsamic glazed salmon, all cooked freshly to taste, this place is a better choice for indoor dining than most in Waco. The atmosphere in winter is warm and cozier than in summer because the fireplace is fully on and inviting. Not thrilled about the acoustics when it is very busy, since there is little sound insulation. Manager Angela was accommodating and friendly.

Such a fun and cute place! The food was very tasty, I am constantly in search of good soup places and this was a winner for me. The thick creamy tomato soup was so good and was a perfect contrast to the cool weather. I got the sampler plate and the crust on the quiche was so flaky, I wish I had more soup!!!! I ordered a large fruit tart online for pickup at 4 pm for my Mother s birthday and when we arrive to pick it up I was told they sold the last one even though I paid ahead to avoid this situation. They gave us 6 individual instead but I m just disappointed I wasn t given the large one. We even attempted to pick up the order early (around 1)but we were told we had to wait up to 20 minutes before the order time so they knew hours ahead (+the overnight order confirmation)that we had an order for the tart. Ive eaten here numerous times, this was the worse service ever. We waited over an hour for our lunch, after we asked about it. Then received cold food. Others around us waited just as long or longer. They offered a free beverage or dessert but that doesnt make up for being late to our next appointment or receiving a cold entree and mine arrived 10mins before my guests meal. I understand waiting longer for a busy time, the lunch rush but we arrived at 1145 before the rush began, and had to ask about our meals at 1pm. Thats beyond reasonable!!! You might have lost a loyal customer at this location, the only location in my town.

I used to go here all the time and the staff would be really short and rude. I stayed away for a few months. But I went in there today and it seems that they have new people or maybe just those people aren t working there anymore. But everyone is really nice and professional and I was really impressed. Bill had a great smile and attitude. I really appreciate someone talking and smiling. Engagement is really important to keep customers happy. Thanks guys.

We stopped while shopping in Waco and it was absolutely delicious. When you first enter its a little weird because there is no directions on the process. So we just followed the people standing in line with the trays its kinda like cafeteria style unless you just want something from the bakery and they you order that from a separate line. Once we placed out order they give you a number and bring the food to you once its done. I must say the balsamic Salmon is delicious I also bought a box of cookies to take home and they are amazing and worth the money. Definitely a great place to stop for a meal.

I saw this place while in town for a wedding and thought it looked really good. It was definitely a great choice as the food was absolutely amazing, especially the muffins and danishes. All of it was excellent. The only thing I wish they would have had was a better crepe selection. I really enjoy some savory crepes, but they only had two options. Other than that, it was a very good experience. The hardest part was deciding what to get!

Zack(the manger) was very unprofessional and laughed to my face when I told him I want my complete order. I ordered food trough Door Dash ( the bag was sealed) so they forgot to put my deserts! Zack should not be a manger with this this attitude!!! Train your employees to fill the order correctly and be a professional when your company/restaurant makes a mistake!!! Fire Zack and train your people!

I placed a takeout order and mistakenly grabbed another customers order in addition to my own when I went to pick it up. I realized my error at my destination and called to try to make it right. They declined my offer to pay for the food that I had taken by mistake. They only requested that I choose them again in the future for brunch. The food and coffee was delicious (both orders). I will definitely return to this location in future visits to Waco and be more careful with ALL takeout orders for posterity.
