Our first time trying Chucks, and it was great! I ordered the Gloria s Margherita Pizza and it was absolutely delicious! The garlicky crust was a perfect addition, but the real winner was the fresh ingredients! The vegetables were incredibly fresh and delicious! We did eat inside at the one table and the guys working were so kind! They brought us plates, forks and napkins, brought out our pizzas fresh and checked in on us as we ate! Very friendly staff! We highly recommend, and we will definitely be back!

Hidden gem in Waco. Their crust and dough are on the fluffier side, almost deep dish style for the regular hand tossed kind. The wings are also generally pretty good for a pizza place: try Cajun for something interesting. If youre ever tired of chain pizza, give them a shot. Never had a bad meal or experience here!

I assume that this spot is a privately owned business. Regardless, the Saturday special was a large 3 topping pizza. The pizza was so good. The crust was super good and cooked thoroughly, unlike Pizza Hut. Customer service was awesome. The guy who helped me out was very respectful and curtious. He will definitely continue to get my business, when I come visit Waco again. Overall excellent experience.

Got the wrong pizza ordered a large ham and pineapple with jalapeños on one side Forgot the jalapeños Girl that answered said ok whatever I ll let the manager deal with this. Whats to say, This was my first visit; Its not show offish, one table 4 chairs. The staff were very friendly. The pizza was very good, not greasy, not to tomatoee, and the crust was a good different. Try it for yourself I think youll stop thinking these big pizza joints are good. Im originally out of big city eating. Im very critical of food. That score is the best Ive given any food joint since I moved to the Waco area(6 years).

My family and I ordered through DoorDash today from Chucks Pizza. Usually the service is good and the pizza is good. But when we received the food we only got half of what we paid for and all the food was burnt. We called and they said that they d make the rest of the food; we went back up to get the other half of and they still didn t make the rest of the food. We called and the manager said they just threw him into all of it and that he d only been working for 5 days. He was nice but did not help at all.

Had this last Friday, after a recommendation from a co-worker. I called in and they picked up on the 2nd ring. Took my order, no issues there, indicated it would be about 20 minutes. I got there, and the order was ready to go. I ordered Pizza, Wings and got extra garlic butter. The garlic butter was the only negative thing I have found about this place, it was horribly salty, almost to the point you cannot eat it, maybe a bad batch or something. They do not have blue cheese for the wings, but not a deal breaker. The service at the counter was great, the older gentleman was really nice and friendly. Two other customer walked in and someone from the back was there ready to help them. The Wings were good, ordered the garlic parmesan, did not have a much flavor as some other places in town but there were good. The pizza was really great, I am normally not a had tossed dough guy, but is was crisp and had good texture. I think next time I am going with the Thin crust and see how it is. I will definitely be back to this place.

They messed up my order just recently but they were very quick to resolve the issue and understanding . remade our but was out of the thin crust so the manager made us 2 pizzas instead and gave us a 2 liter for rhe trouble. Actually good food at an affordable price. Options to eat in are limited so that may be why pickup is the way to go. Had spaghetti and meatballs wife had a pizza and we were both satisfied. Met the owner and we chatted for a while, really nice guy told me stories of starting out and struggling through the pandemic. But hes still here taking care of his cliental. Recommend taking advantage of this establishment while its available.

I normally order the hamburger specialty pizza, I have been ordering from chucks for years and brag about them. I received my pizza to only have it be a regular hamburger pizza. The delivery guy is always a gem. When I was placing my order from the start the lady answering seemed overwhelmed and busy- I understand. I orderd for an event that Lakeside Tavern has every Monday at 7:30. After realizing there was a miscommunication I called and said hey I received a hamburger pizza vs. The specialty hamburger. Mind you 12 wings and a medium thin crust dry basic pizza was 30 some odd dollars I presumed it was expensive solely bc the specialty pizza is to die for and well worth it. Moving forward when I spoke to the women on the phone her response was immediately- I called your order back to you thats why you got the hamburger pizza, she interrupted and was rude as hell. Obviously it is a miscommunication however after years of business and 30 dollars for a mediocre meal a simple we can reroute it back to you but you will have to pay because I was willing considering the amount of people present i didnt mind. She may have been having a bad day but the gentleman delivering the food needs to be answering the phone. Shes rude and doesnt seem to like her job. I will be going elsewhere Moving forward and I absolutely hate it I will be calling and ensuring the manager/owner is aware.

I love their pizza the sauce is what makes it taste better and different than anyone else s my go to is a large with mushroom, Italian sausage and pepperoni BUT this time I tried the burger pizza and it was my fault I didn t see that it had mustard so if you re NOT a mustard fan like me make sure to get that off because it coats the whole pizza other than that I will definitely continue to order pizza from here as long as I live in Waco. My family actually found this place when I was moving here and they always order when they come into town,

Been ordering from here for years now. They always have consistently great pizza and the delivery drivers are friendly and fast. Weve had maybe two errors in 4 or 5 years, and both times it was that both me and the delivery driver forgot I ordered soda. Their food is very high quality and they load their pizzas down with toppings. Nothings more exciting than having a Chucks delivery on the way!

Very good good, we asked about the bacon cheese burger, he told us about it, we got 2 salads also, prices are very fair and food is great, we enjoyed or salads so much, we had to finish before enjoying the pizza, Food came out very fast. We tried this place for the first time today because we like hole in the wall places to eat at and they did not disappoint. The food was awesome. Visiting Waco for work and was looking for a good pizza place. Read several good reviews and ended up at Chuck s. Nice little pizza place. Seems to be family owned. The gentleman at the register was very welcoming and helpful. The owner, or owner s wife told me they had been there for 8 years after her and her husband branched off from another chain Pizzeria he had worked at for 30 years. I wasn t too thrilled about the wings I ordered, but that s because I like them cooked a specific way still their Cajun wings were pretty good. The pizza was great though! I ll definitely be ordering from here again. Love it.

This was my 1st trip here. I got a chicken fajita sub. Delicious!!! Tender, hot. The owner was very kind . Clean place. Mostly a take out place. Only a couple of places to sit and eat. Did not have to wait long. My friend ate the Alfredo pasta and garlic bread which she raved about. We both ate every little bit of our food.

I love the pizza here, but everytime I try using the website it says to call because it says the system is experiencing technical difficulties. When I called I was greeted by someone that didnt know what was on the online menu. He them transferred meto someone named Rock who self identified as the store manager who was extremely rude. I explained to him that the website told me to call the order in due to the system having difficulties and he would not honor the the web offering andtoldme it was onlineonly. I had ordered here quite often but will no longer recommend or patronize this establishment due to terrible customer service.

Just ordered some pizza, pasta and wings. The hot Buffalo wings were huge, tons of great meat, and not soggy. The Alfredo penne pasta was tasty, the pasta was slightly over cooked, but the entire dish was still delicious. Kids loved it. The thin crust pepperoni was amazing. I love the thin, cracker-y crust with the perfect amount of cheese, sauce, and pepperoni. The food was hot, and the customer service was good. Long time customer of this family owned restaurant and will continue dining at chucks!

We moved from another part of town last June and discovered this excellent pizza and pasta restaurant. They deliver quality food and since last June we ordered a little over $1300, yes $1300 from them. Always adding a generous tip and always paying online with a card. When the food arrived we always had a little extra cash on top of the tip paid online. Last night was our final purchase at Chucks. A little after our food was delivered the driver called from the restaurant and told me i did not pay. I told him I paid by card and when he argued I asked for a manager. The manger got on the phone I explained that I paid online as always and she told me her records said I did not. I looked at my order while on the phone and it showed my card number. She began to argue and talk over me and after I told her that I would check my card several times in a few minutes to verify she told me if I didn t pay there would be repercussions and the authorities would be called and began to ask over and over are you going to pay or not. She hung up. I called back and told her how unprofessional and rude she was and that I again would check my card. I asked to speak to the owner and she said he was gone but she would have him call. And after several more words between us and rude exchanges she hung up again. About an hour later I looked at my card and there was the pending payment showing incomplete transaction... I called the card company, canceled the transaction at their suggestion and then called the Manager. I told her what was going on and asked her to run the card and it took 4 times for it to go through as she said it wouldn t process correctly. I said I guess that there was a problem earlier proving that I had tried to pay and she decided to tell me that I was rude and that I cussed her and on and on again. I asked if she called the owner and she said he would call today. Well Chuck I guess you don t care how your manager approached this issue since you haven t called back at the writing of this review. Great food, horrible customer service!

My girlfriend went into this place today and the guy was super rude to her. She asked if they had a certain topping and the guy responds well do you see it on the menu? Plus the employees are always outside smoking when you go in. Come to find out, it was the owners son so go figure. Wont go here again. Tell your boy to find his own path and save the business Chuck. Excellent thin crust! Quality toppings. I live a mile and a half away and they usually get it delivered within 20 minutes. Friday & Saturday evenings delivery will probably take much longer because of high demand.

So I ordered at 1740 and my pizza and wings arrived at 1838. The worst part about this is that I called and was asking of everything was okay and without a single word in response to my question, hangs up the phone. Best pepperoni pizza in Waco! Update: 11/17/2019 Been ordering delivery from Chucks for over a year now and I always get top quality pizza with friendly delivery. It really is the best thin crust pizza Ive ever had, and they really do care about their quality. As long as Im in Waco, Ill never order pizza from anywhere else.

We are here for the OU Baylor game on 11/15/19 and the night manager on duty has hung up on us twice!!! Screaming we do not deliver to Best Western Plus!!! When asking for a manager I heard you Can call Chuck he s the owner we re not helping. WOW! I sure hope their food is better than their service and hospitality!!!!

This has been the most average pizza ever. My first time trying Chucks I ordered the Giant thin crust pizza, it wasnt good. The sauce which takes up most of the pizza is plain, and they dont cover the pizza with cheese. I thought maybe the giant was their budget pizza, so I ordered a couple more about 2 weeks later, this time a hand tossed and deep dish. Same issues as before, average pizza, too little cheese, and sparse on the toppings. I wouldnt recommend them.

**I gave 2 stars because Ive never had an experience like this one from this place ever before** I literally live across the street and made the mistake of ordering take out. One hour + later, a cold coagulated pizza arrived with Luke warm wings. I had called right after I ordered just to confirm the driver knew which apartments I lived at and which unit (I understand it can be confusing). I called almost an hour later to see about my order, I was told it had already been sent out. Then 15 minutes later, second call after they had already told me the driver had left, I was told she had just walked out the door with my pizza and would be there soon... Confusing!?!? Yes! Annoying!?!? Double yes! After the pizza was dropped off another 10 minutes later, I immediately called them back to come pick up my COLD pizza and ask for a refund, to which I was told my pizza would be picked up, but my refund I would have to come get the next day when the owner was in the store, but only during a specific time... I was more than happy with coming to speak with the owner ay that point and said okay. Only to get a call another 10 minutes later that the driver who dropped off my pizza would be here soon to pick up my cold pizza and give me a complete refund. So now I magically have a refund I was originally told I wouldnt be able to get... Ive enjoyed their pizza in the past, its affordable and the wings are great, but this was a nightmare experience that has greatly changed my opinion about them.

As long as the owner isnt working that day... Then the service and pizza are awesome. The owner/manger acts like he doesnt want to be there. Never smiles or creates small talk. If he works that day, then somehow the pizza is always dried out or over cooked... And he kind of throws the pizza box on the counter. KIND OF! But when hes not there... And he has the other workers taking over, like the young adults or older super skinny caucasian guy (who makes the dough or pizzas); then the services and food will be the bomb. Their pastas are great! So are their sandwiches & wings.
