Driving from Austin to Ft Worth and thought we wanted to have Mexican food for dinner. Googled what was around and spotted this place. First off, the chips and salsa were very good. Chips were light and airy, but crisp. Not the light chips that break when you get some salsa on it. Chicken enchiladas were the special tonight, so we both said, dang it, we don t eat flour tortillas. Waiter said they can make them with corn tortillas! That was all it took, yes please, let s get two! The tortillas were really good as an enchilada, never tried that before. The children was cooked with some tasty spices. The sour cream and cheese on top were the the perfect topping. Very good with the rice or beans too in each bite. If I m in the area again, I ll stop by.

We hadn t been there in a while and sort of popped in on a whim. As we walked in, we noticed a special for under nine dollars so we ordered that and out came a couple of full plates with a taco, tostada, and a cheese enchilada. I had a beer with mine, which was also on special, and overall we had a great meal for around $20 total. Including tax and everything else it was over, but the net was about $20. The waiter was super friendly and added to the enjoyment of the experience.

After coming for many years, I believe today was my last visit. I was left feeling as though they were doing me a favor by hosting me. Service was definitely subpar, waited for 2 other tables who arrived after me (and were brought their meal) before I even received chips, then ended up having to approach the kitchen to ask for a refill and then again for a small to-do box. The only time I saw my server after he took my order was when he brought me the check. At the payment desk things did not improve, there was no how was your service, no smile, just cash or card? and its going to ask you how much you want to tip then sign. That was the nail on the coffin. I expect poor service from young kids working as servers as, they dont know any better, but from the owners? Nope.

horrible experience we went there for my daughters birthday and it took a long time just to get someone to get us drinks and the our food took a long time to get served and when it was served majority of the food was cold . there were 9 of us and some meals did not have everything that was ordered. prices seemed ok but service was horrible. we couldnt get our waitress to come back and bring us refills . when i went to pay the ticket and spoke with the manager about our experience, she said well you should of told your waitress. i tried to but could never get her attention. nothing was taken off the bill for our bad experience. will never go back

Worst experience of dining experience ever. Trying to use a coupon and cashier didnt understand how to put discount in computer. Had 2 other cashiers trying to figure out. Then out of nowhere a waitress who is family of owners start screaming and cussing me out about the coupon. After 25 minutes the lady apologized and figured out how to add discount to my ticket. I will never be back

Trujillo s on the circle really were gracious and amazing recently when I quickly realized I had a real need for a good place to have a family together after the service of their loved one Garlene Corley Shelton. She grew up in Waco and I know she would have loved knowing we thoroughly enjoyed the staffs 110% service for all to enjoy that time here with many of her out of town loved ones and local friends as well!! To be 100% honest, its been roughly 25 years since Ive dined here. As soon as I took a bite of my food, it was like never leaving. Just delicious. Im definitely coming back and certainly much quicker this time around. I had a Mexican dinner which consists of a cheese enchilada and 2 tamales covered in sauce. It was just perfect. It wasnt crowded, maybe around half capacity, wasnt too loud, and I just really enjoyed my dinner. My fiancé felt the same. Shes a little picky, but its nice to know we now have another option in the bag when we go out.

Everything was just bad. It was like being at the DMV!! Everything was slow, service, drinks, food. We were there 2hrs. Tea had some kind of oil residu had to return it. Wife asked for no onions in her cheese enchiladas had to send it back, then our waitress caught an attitude over it. It was just all bad. Wouldnt recommend

First & only time there today. Food was AMAZING. But the whole place, including menus & shakers were filthy. When I mentioned this to what I think was an owner, she said people are messy, that they have witnessed people shove the shakers directly into their food which is why they clean the menus & shakers ONCE A WEEK. Just make your Big Red margaritas at home cause they dont want you there. Took over 5 minutes to even be acknowledged and get our name on the list. I visited this restaurant on June 23rd 2023 between the hours of 3 and 5PM and had absolutely the worst experience. I needed to use the restroom extremely bad, mind you I am a female approximately 100 lbs (28 year old female), so I was there to do no harm or whatever the front desk lady may have thought. I asked to use the bathroom, literally begged the front desk lady (Hispanic female light skinned).She said no there are stores down the road. I begged again, at this point I am crying because Im about to have an accident on myself and there are no stores around. The lady at no point in time EVER tells me I need to make a purchase, or be a customer to use the bathroom. I would have even purchased a meal at that point due to the circumstances. I just want the owners to be aware of what kind of people they have working up front. I understand the restaurant was not a rest area but at the end of the day please have some empathy because we are all human being. Thank you. Parking: N/A

I got two drinks to go (staying at hotel next door), queso and a higher end drink around $24. Go back for 2 more $2.50 drinks. Comes out to $24, I m like hold on now these drinks (even on a chalk board in front of me says wed $2.50 each. I say what s going on? The owner steps in and says ohhh if you get it to go they are 9 each. I explain I was here earlier today got two drinks to go and it was only five dollars for the two drinks they say that the bartender is new and she was mistaken. They re-ring me up for $8.31 (in Texas you have to get a food order in order to get to go drinks, so I got a queso and the two drinks and then look at the receipt and it says chili con queso and a pint of hot sauce which was $3.45 on top of the queso. I explain I did not order hot sauce. She then replies oh I rung that up wrong, chips are the same cost as the queso???, at this point I m getting the impression they re trying to ring me up for more things than what I m ordering. So I speak to the owner. She tells me that apparently I ve had too much to drink (had 3 drinks in 4 hours) and it s my fault that I m upset. I then explain you have now quadruple charged me and then to fix it double charge me, they never truly apologize and blame me for trying to charge me for way more. And I crazy! Or would you have been upset too?

Food was overpriced, dont believe the prices they have posted online or in the restaurant, they hit harder. There was charges for things I didnt order on my receipt. Not very roomy atmosphere. The check out lady was just as rude as the food was bad. Dont order the queso, that is as fake as the online prices. Overall BAD experience. The desert we ordered had Artificial strawberry sauce I dont even think the strawberries were real. They also charge you for using a debit card. My family will not be returning. Food was good. I d rate the food alone at 4 stars. The service and friendliness of the staff was the issue. We waited at the host both a little over 5 minutes without any one of the 7 employees saying anything to us. No one else was waiting. No acknowledgement at all from the employees, nothing. Some made eye contact, but quickly looked away. The hostess finally walked in from outside and first thing she said was excuse me as she walked past. Our server was ok. Service goes a long way with me. There are other Mexican restaurants in Waco with just as good food and MUCH better service. I m really not sure I d go back.

Food was awesome and our waiter was on point. We were visiting from Mississippi it was close to our hotel and we had an early parent with us with special needs and they was so considerate of that. It truly meant alot for them to notice that in a good way. Will return on next visit.

Excellent Chicken Enchiladas and above average TexMex cheese and onion enchiladas with outstanding chili con carne, rice and beans. Try the Shrimp Enchiladas next time youre looking for something different.
