I had a grilled chicken salad. Its available as a full order or half order. Full order would work for 2 people most of the time unless you are really hungry. For me, the menu is a bit lacking. I was looking for a gyro plate which they had but the description didnt appeal to me but that could be my lack of experience with Mediterranean food. Quiet, calm place for lunch. Recommend.

Food was good but this is more like a cafeteria than a restaurant. Food served on a tray, no napkins, no utensils and not much else going on. Place is fine for carry out but that is about it for us. We need to find a more upscale Mediterranean place for a more classic meal

I sensed and appreciated that things were made to order, and enjoyed the unique flavors. People need to know that the prices are steep ($20+/plate) and the portions are somewhat small. The styrofoam cutlery and dishware were a letdown. Playing music of some kind on a loudspeaker will create a more hospitable atmosphere in your restaurant.

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise as I had no idea what to expect as a first time customer. The food was excellent and very flavorful. The service was sort of slow as we arrived before the main dinner guest for the evening. I was not impressed with being served on styrofoam plates.

Stopped in for a late lunch while in town so it was pretty quiet. Definitely a place wed stop by again next time to try more dishes. As it was, the teenager raved about the Greek chicken salad, and my husband and I really enjoyed the gyro and falafel. I forgot to order pita chips Id seen in a review pic until after I was already full and noticed them on the salad. Stole a couple and will make room for them next time.

Absolutely baffles me seeing reviews saying actual authentic Mediterranean food not even close. Using American processed foods, that gyro meat looks disgusting. Provided by who.. Sysco foods or us foods Goto Athens and find a gyro that resembles anything close to those of this place. Turkey as well, you won t. The dolmadas look so bland ( fyi meat inside is so uncommon) this is as far from traditional as can be. Bunch of buffoon Americans that have never had actual mediterranean food in a Mediterranean region telling you this is authentic. And you re paying twice the price for these products than you would in Greece or Turkey loaded with processed garbage. This food is an insult to mediterranean food.

My family and I went to visit Waco and were feeling super hungry we were looking for a good Greek restaurant and we finally stumbled upon this one. We got our food pretty quickly and the employees were super kind to us taking our orders Their fries and onion rings were crispy and flavorful. We also had gotten the chips that were seasoned well and had a nice crunch to them, We loved to dip the chips with the hummus that we recommended you guys try. Their salads were super fresh, and their gyro wrappers were delicious as well.

This delightful little restaurant lived up to our expectations! The delicious gyro plate had a generous amount of meat, and the Lebanese salad was a wonderful accompaniment. The baba gahnouj was good, but I think I like the yogurt and cucumber salad even more. And my spouses fried okra was fresh and done just right. And the gentleman who took our order (pretty sure he is the owner or co-owner) was very charming to chat with. As noted in other reviews, it is a very small restaurant so get there early. We showed up just after 11 a.m. and got our orders in about 10 minutes before the place started filling up. Even if its crowded when you get there, its worth the wait. Dont forget to save room for a piece of baklava for dessert!

The Greek salad was tasty. Hubby had the Gyro said it was scrumptious. The spanakopita was just alright this time. I appreciate the sterile clean effort in the cafe, but the fabuloso scent was excessively strong. I sorta got a mild headache from it. I might have to opt for take out next time if the cleaner scent is over the top again.

My wife and I were in Waco for the day and decided to give Ds a try. We were not disappointed. The food was fresh and made to order. I had the beef tenderloin kabob plate with falafels and hummus. I can honestly say it was the best Ive ever had. The restaurant was clean tidy. I felt like I was a guest in someones home. I live in the DFW area and would not hesitate to drive to Waco just to eat here again. I wish I could give a higher rating than 5 stars

Consistently one of my favorite restaurants in Waco for at least 10 years now! Authentic Mediterranean which has been here since before there was as much diverse foods around.

Tried both beef and chicken kabobs. Both excellent. Friendly staff. Delicious fresh food. Off the beaten path. Well worth it even if youre not in the neighborhood. Well be back.

Small, family-owned business. The restaurant is unassuming, but clean and cozy. The food was made fresh, and was hot and flavorful. I got the falafel plate, hummus and spanakopita - which was all phenomenal. The tahini sauce was also wonderful. The service was phenomenal. The owner was super friendly and accommodating. He brought us our food and also brought napkins and silverware to the table. He also checked on us several times after getting our food and thanked us before leaving. Would absolutely eat here again! Thank you for the wonderful experience.

36$ lunch served with box rice pilaf 2 kibi and hummus soup served on a Styrofoam plate. This place is as much Mediterranean as McDonalds is fine dining. Sweet old people own it but the food is just terrible.
