We went for Sunday lunch. The restaurant was a mess. They struggled to keep food out on the line. The staff was very present but service was shameful. The food quality was pretty bad. We drove more than an hour to experience this and we were not happy about it at all. We will never ever return.

One of my good friends and I went here for lunch last Friday. We had absolutely no problem walking right up to the cashier and paying. Nearly $40 for the two of us seems as this is no longer an economical option for lunch. I had the roast beef, steak, the pork and all three were absolutely amazing! I tried to fried fish, the baked fish, some of the tuna salad, etc. Everything was absolutely excellent. Our waiter, Gio, was just very relaxed and hanging out. Literally. Its not fun to see your waiters boxers every time he turns around. We had to constantly ask for refills and we had to get our own fresh plates. He never took any of our used plates and to be honest, I really dont think he cares at all about anything. Before we left, we did leave a standard tip, but unfortunately, it probably just reinforces to him that doing the minimum is just fine! Our food and the desserts were absolutely top-notch, but the atmosphere and service are terrible! Play some music here please as I dont really want to hear what other tables are saying to each other. Parking: You wont have any problems parking here, night or day!

The server was amazing. Wish I could remember his name. He served tables by the restrooms. The food is not near what it used to be- especially the salad bar. Very lightly and almost geriatric like Ryan s and Luby s. The floors are gross and stained. It could stand for the floors to be cleaned or replaced. For the price we paid, I was very underwhelmed.

First time ever going to a golden corral! Around 1:30p on a Sunday it was quite busy and foods seemed fresh. My steak looked somewhat pink when he cut it, but ended up being well done by the time I ate it. Next time Id be more cognizant of residual cooking and ask for a rare steak hoping for medium rare at the table. Otherwise, the pot roast was my favorite, with the fried chicken, bbq pork, liver, and mashed potatoes with gravy getting honorable mentions from others in our party.

Typical golden corral experience. Im really unsure if this is on a low income side of town. The first impression walking in the door i was not really that impressed. The trays were wet with standing water sitting on the stack of trays. They were probably right out of a commercial dishwasher without a dryer. The cashier was friendly enough. Our server was nice, though, not really as helpful as the other locations. Experienced a much longer wait for drink refills. The buffet was probably the best part. Seems like an endless supply to choice from. Was kinda disappointed in the desert options. We typically get the soft serve ice cream, which only had chocolate. There Wasnt as many toppings as the other locations we visited. Overall, it wasnt a bad experience, but it certainly wasnt the best either. We did get our monies worth with a couple of trips to the buffet.

Came with my husband and parents for the breakfast buffet. Our waitress did an excellent job of clearing used plates and making sure our drinks were full. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options including biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, etc. They also had an omelet station where you can have an omelet made to order. They also had some tortillas and Mexican breakfast potatoes/hashbrowns that were so good! They had menudo available on Saturday morning when we were there. There was also some fried chicken and chicken fried steak, scrambled eggs, various kinds of pancakes, French toast, and waffles. I thought they could have added some more fresh fruit options as there were only some grapefruit halves out for a short period of time. Otherwise it was a filling breakfast!

I havent been to GC since the pandemic but the food is exactly how I remembered. This location was very busy. The parking lot was full, perhaps because it was Sunday after noon. There was a long line at the entrance but it moved faster than I expected. For two seniors and 1 adult the price was 45.00. Everything I had was tasty and seasoned well. I waited for the fried chicken but it took too long so I had the fried catfish! It was hot out the fryer too!

This is a place where one gets more bang for the buck. I used to do breakfast every weekend for the longest time. The omelette station told me there wasn t any more egg white omelets allowed. The person said, It ruins the frying pan. Didn t believe him. Thinking the individual was just too lazy to crack and separate the eggs. The last time I was there for breakfast and was told it ruined the frying man I ve noticed after my third round of all white egg omelettes the cook rolled his eyes. as for the lunch/dinner buffet, The food is always salty, way,way too salty. My wife got the butterfly shrimp. she took a bite and realized it was raw. The desserts, for instance pies cheesecakes are usually still frozen. I remember years ago they were homemade no longer now they are from Cisco (food delivery service) straight off the truck. I used to love going to the Golden corral. Be warned, if you have high blood pressure don t eat there. The place is just gone way, way downhill.

This is one of the worst and I mean one of the worst Golden Corrals I ve ever eaten at and has gone down hill over the years. I would sometimes come for my lunch meetings or come in during the week once or twice to get a bite to eat when I didn t feel like cooking. The plates are old and always have food from the next person s meal still attached to the plates. You have to go through at least 10 plates before finding a clean one to serve yourself. The salad bowls are the same way dingy and brown with cut marks. Condiment bottles that are on the table are dirty and sometimes empty and are never wiped down or cleaned or the inside of the condiments lid. The same towel is used to wipe down every table. The kids booster and rolling high chairs are filthy. They serve the same things everyday. And only switch up every blue moon with serving wings or shrimp pasta. The sweet potatoes have black specks in them, I m not sure what that is? It takes almost 30 mins for a new batch of chicken to be served. The ice cream machine when it runs out forget it, you re not getting any because they are not going to refill it. I ve seen roaches on 5 separate occasions. On the walls, on the salad bar, crawling on the glass over the hot food, and on my table while eating. Management only makes excuses about they just sprayed and acts nonchalant about the situation. Went to use the restroom which I never do, the trash inside the stall was full and spilling over onto the the floor and creeping up the wall due to it not being emptied. Also the restroom had a smell of not being cleaned. I will NOT be eating here again! This place should be shut down. Not sure why the Health Department hasn t done so already?!?!?

I only gave it 3 because when the food was actually out, it was decent for what it is. Me and many others (I heard them) were so baffled at how the food was prepared. Its like the cooks made what they felt like and not what was needed. Beans full, with a whole new container being shoved in it. Same with so many other things EXCEPT the foods that needed to be refilled. Im talking the whole visit some items were empty. Ive never seen this at any other location. Also, special shout out to Cathy. She tended to our table and she was super sweet. The atmosphere overall was good and it was clean, just need to get out the food.
