This place is worth to drive off I35 for food! Excellent and friendly service and the food was amazing. They were out of wings, most likely because they are so good ;) My wife got a burger, kiddos cheese sticks and me just stuffed jalapenos (I went for a pint of czech beer to Pivovar, best beer ever). When I got back my jalapenos nearly eaten but so delicious. Seriously the best cheese sticks and awesome burger. We will be back for sure when around.

I really enjoyed this location, but they are not handicap friendly. The only restroom without stairs is not capable to accommodate a wheelchair. They also do not have an exit once they have closed the gate. They will let you roll out the front door with steps though. Nothing like rolling on the ground in public after a good show to wake you up at night. Do better Backyard! Wheelchair accessibility: This is not a wheelchair friendly location.

No joke, probably the coolest and best spot in Waco. Food is always top tier and great portion. Chef Anthony hands down is an encyclopedia on Bbq and a master at what he does. Not to mention the awesome live bands they have performe. Dont sleep on this place!

Its has the perfect atmosphere. You have the choice of staying inside where its cool, or go outside to their nice patio. The food is delicious, and not pricey. I had chicken fried steak, my husband had chop chop steak. Yummy!

We came to hear Members Only (fantastic 80s cover band). Since this was our first time at this venue, I tried several times to call ahead for information about start times, cover charge/tickets, seating, etc. They never answered the phone, and the voicemail is full so that you cant leave a message requesting a callback. On arrival, I was surprised at how unwelcoming the lady was who took our money for tickets. She practically barked instructions for making payment and wasnt particularly gentle putting on our armbands. We enjoyed the band, but its a shame that such a nice venue gives off the appearance that their clientele arent appreciated. I dont anticipate going back anytime soon.

Reading the reviews I thought this place would be great and maybe it is on days when the outside is open and you can get bbq. We were there on a Monday for lunch. I ordered sirloin hamburger steak plate with mashed potatoes and green beans. I could not eat it. Tasted like an old tv dinner. Gravy was something thick dark brown. Another ordered catfish, she said it was okay, another ordered a burger and said he would not order it again, frozen overcooked patty like the hamburger steak. Fries were ok. Bathrooms were so dirty and no trash can in the mens. We wont be back. Im thinking it should just say bar, not grill. Thankfully the Magnolia Coffee Shop was open with immaculate restrooms. I cant remember the last time I gave a bad review, but this just left a bad taste in my mouth, literally.

I have loved y all s food more than you know but Today I had fried pickles served with Ken s ranch disgusting, I ordered Cluckers, tasted like only flour, got cat fish no complaints there, ordered nachos with taco meat they had to remake was gross couldn t eat or not to mention they served cold fries had to remake, forgot to put taco meat on nachos. I m so disappointed to learn of the new food issue. The BBQ on point all the time just didn t get it today.

If I could give them 10 stars I would!!! Best burnt ends I ve EVER had. We went on a Sunday afternoon, not busy considering how great the food and atmosphere is. My husband had the smoked chicken and it just fell off the bone; he said it was so good. The green beans were cooked just like my granny used to make with bacon and onions. Our kids had the burger and they enjoyed it as well. We ll definitely return here when we visit Waco again! Kid-friendliness: Plenty of families when we ate lunch.

Brisket was very tough. Sausage didnt have much flavor. The beans were okay but nothing special, same as the potato salad. Got two orders of fried pickles and both very overcooked. Had a very nasty taste and total waste of money..... Was advised as good BBQ, it was a lie.

If you re visiting Magnolia, do yourself a huge favor: park in the back, then skip this place. Not family friendly as they play ghetto/trashy/vulgar music during the day. They allow children to run around without their parents watching. (They say they encourage parents to watch their children but what do you expect? It s a bar.) Big huge brawls happen here! Why they do not consider it a liability to have children run around, relatively unsupervised, I can t understand. They allow parents to put their kids on their shoulders at concerts. They EVEN allow their workers to bring their children while they work. I ve never seen anything like it. I ve taken the liberty of reading most of these reviews and it seems that whenever there s a bad one, the establishment is rarely at fault, which is typical. The rules are based upon feelings of whomever is in charge at that moment. Which will lead to inconsistency and unreliability and that s what you have here. If you re local, believe me, I understand this place wins by default, as far as concerts goes. Wildly unfortunate. Plenty of other safer/cleaner places in Waco to grab food or a drink that s far more consistent, ie: drinks: One Day, Sloans, Barnetts Food: Hecho en Waco, Helberg @ Barnetts, Union Hall, Pivovar All far superior options.

Parking: I walked up through the side parking and the guys in the back on the smoke a couple of weeks ago were amazing!!! I was hungry (starved) from just being incarcerated and the made me the biggest and best brisket sandwich Ive ever tasted in my whole 52 yrs their thanksgiving was more than their sweet kind hearts they went above and beyond what had only had wished for.....props to parking area clean as always true value of these guys in the back that made my ling walk home all cried out and very humbling

Casual atmosphere. Came in after visiting Magnolia s block- right across the street. Burgers and patty melt were hot, fresh and would definitely recommend. Others got quesadillas and they were not very full with the meat. Bar with variety that had all we needed for our party. Great sound and on site eats. Waited too late to get something. But, boy did it smelled good. Kitchen closes about 11pm if I remember correctly. I was there May 28th. Restaurants in the area close early, too so grab a bit. Great staff. A few miles from Baylors stadium. Kid-friendliness: Families were present.

This place was great! It was our first visit as we were looking for a fun dog friendly food environment. The food was good and staff was nice. Loved that they had dig bowls for water you could go fill up for your thirsty pup! Will be back again with or without or fur babies.

Went during happy hour during the week so dont expect much people. The bartender was cool and food was pretty good. Im hardly in Waco so it was weird seeing bars so dead at 5pm.
