I tried to make reservations just in case but they don t do it for parties less than 4. We went on a Friday evening at 6 and sat pretty quickly. The food was absolutely worth the price. We fell in love with the Harbor Bridge speciality roll. It is buffet style so you keep your menu and just keep ordering.

All you can eat lunch special was amazing an opportunity to try every delicious item on the menu. Service was outstanding. Mark, our server was amazing. He explained every item and made some excellent suggestion. Discovered some favorites and will definitely be back. Very clean facility. Dietary restrictions: They do not use any MSG. We had the Korean BBQ and not the Sushi. We enjoyed it! The beef and pork were delicious, calamari too. The one we didn t enjoy was the Salmon which was a touch fishy. Rice was good and the kimchi. The house Margaritas were surprisingly nice with recognizable juice. Service was good.

Good food , little pricy for the amount we ate. They would rather throw food away than give a small to go box, which they gave me the first two times we ate there. It is like a buffet, which they deliver the food to your table. Korean bbq is not all that it seems like, taste wise, and you leave smelling like a chef. The deserts are nice. Will not be returning.

The meat was terrible. All of the food was awful except the eggs rolls and salad. Service was great. Noodles were mush and slimy like they were sitting for days. The meat was ALL bad. Sushi was just ok. Disappointed. For the price food was comparison to a small town cheap buffet.

I would recommend Gogi to anyone who enjoys sushi or asain cuisine and anyone who likes Korean BBQ/likes to BBQ period or anyone who just wants to try what Korean BBQ is like! The all-you-can-eat is only 30 dollars a person, and it covers everything that isnt on their bbq menu, and that includes their sushi, sashimi, and sushi rolls. My husband and I will definitely be going back to try the bbq when it is available, and we will also be going back for the all-you-can-eat as well. The service was very good considering they had just hired most of their staff (because they just recently opened), very friendly and attentive to the customers needs. Be warned, however, they have a rule for the all-you-can-eat that take-out orders will cost extra, and anything you cannot finish will also be charged (so dont let ur eyes be bigger than ur stomach! Lol). The food tasted amazing and, honestly, probably some of the best sushi I have eaten in a little while. Edit: My husband and I went back the first week in June, and they had their BBQ up and running, so naturally, we had to try it! The best part, in my opinion, is you can get their entire menu all you can eat for $35 per person. We loved the BBQ, and the fact that you cooked your own meat was so cool to us! The only complaint I have is that I had to change my service rating to 4 due to our waitress, she did not come by our table often enough at all so we were not able to order everything we wanted to try or we had to stress about either ordering too much or not ordering enough to last until she decided to come back to our table. I have to mention that when we went, it was not busy at all. Maybe 4 other parties were seated, and maybe one out those other 4 were also her table. Other than that, we had another great night! Vegetarian options: There are about 7 vegetarian options on the sushi menu, and there are salads and some veggie dishes on the appatizer menu as well. There are a lot of veggies on the BBQ menu that you can cook yourself as well!

Gogi is a pretty good sushi restaurant, but a very sub-par Korean restaurant. The sushi is of good quality, and all you can eat. The cuts of meat used for the barbecue leave something to be desired, the seasoning was very thin, and there are no banchan except for kimchi, which seemed very Americanized. I have never eaten at a Korean barbecue that didnt have a wide variety of banchan available, and was rather disappointed by the whole thing. Ill return for sushi, but never again for the lackluster Korean food.

Great Korean BBQ. Were so glad to have Korean food available in Victoria. The all you can eat options are endless. We could probably eat there ten times without repeating choices. The cucumber salad is perfection. The spicy beef bulgogi was my favorite BBQ option. And the peppered tube was another great choice. You should know that Korean BBQ is self cooked at your table, I think that will take a while for everyone to understand since this is the first of its kind in Victoria.

Came here for a new experience, food was foreign to us but thats ok we asked the waitress and she was helpful. Ordered food and it came out quickly (raw of course). I was expecting the food to be portioned per person per order and unfortunately that was not the case, our food was put together on the same plate. Normally this wouldnt be an issue but my daughter ordered shrimp, had I known I would have specified I need my food placed on different plates (shellfish allergy). After speaking with manager later she said it was a training failure as food is supposed to come separate. Fast forward a little longer and we have no idea what each item is, so we asked the server. The server proceed to SMELL (I should have offered her a napkin to wipe her nose it was so close) our raw meet and then asked another server to identify the food, the next server SMELLED our food as well (obv the shrimp was easily identified). Fast forward a little more we were over the experience. The manager had caught wind of the issues from the server (good on her for reading the room) the manager asked what the problem was and was overly nice (thank you). She comped our meal which we were more than ready to pay for our drinks, the one sushi roll, 2 mini sausage links side of lo-mein and a strip of pork belly. Also if youre reading this GOGI please add lighting over the Korean bbq hot plates, raw meat and poor lighting do not mix. This is my opinion. 100% sure we will never be back, thank you manager youre a blessing to this place, the chicken lo mean is pretty good as well, the other stuff not for me. I am sure there are many people who enjoy the food here.

Overpriced at $30.00 per person on the Korean BBQ. You are limited to 2 hours. Took forever to cook everything. Meat was not a good cut of beef - skirt steak? It was stringy and full of fat. I couldnt chew it. Would have left there hungry if not for the dessert. For $30/person, I want someone else to cook for me. I dont want to work for it. Lastly, my clothes, hair, and everything smelled like cooking. I have to bathe before going anywhere else! I also found the food under-seasoned. Second time here. Had sushi last time, the salmon and tuna are great. Had gogi (meat) today. Was impressed. Salmon was my favorite again. Galbi had the right flavors. Was 50% great, 50% kinda tough, spicy pork, cumin lamb, and bulgogi were also good. Good miso soup, and seaweed salad. Fresh kimchi, not very spicy. Make sure to order some sauces to use with the grill if you like bold flavors. Vegetarian options: This place is called meat. But they do have veggies on the menu.

If you re a fan of Sushi and want some fresh tasting Sushi, this place is the best. Their all you can eat menu ($30 per person) has so many options for food. Their main specialty is Sushi, which tastes so wonderful. They also just opened their tables to allow for Korean Bbq. Which getting all you can eat Sushi/Korean BBQ will cost each person $35 each. They also have a regular single plate menu, though I haven t personally tried any of those. But the atmosphere is so refreshing, menu is nice and clean, floors are clean, I highly recommend this place for Sushi lovers!

The food was over priced for not having the ability to cook it yourself. The steak and salmon brought out were bother small and thin. Then my friend didnt care for the pineapple noodles but we were charged the ala carte for them, because they are still on the table... so anything you dont like and dont eat you get charged extra for in addition to the $30 you spent for all you can eat. Was excited to have a Korean restaurant close as Ive missed the food when I lived in Korea. However, this place is NOT KOREAN AT ALL! How on earth are you just going to be ANOTHER knock off Japanese Hibachi restaurant with a mish mash menu of Asian foods, EXCEPT from Korea?! There is NO Kimchi, Bulgogi, Bibimbap, Gimbap, etc. Thank goodness I had to foresight to check their website before actually stepping foot and being disappointed. This place is beautiful. The service was on point, with help at every question. The food is some of the better Korean bbq style food that Ive had anywhere, so to see that in the small city of Victoria is fantastic! I just want to state that the self bbq portion of this place isnt up and running yet. But that being said, its all you can eat or a la carte. We had the all you can eat lunch special, priced at 19.99 for adults.. At this time, the Korean BBQ is not being served, so all you can eat applies to sushi, fried rice and noodles, and appetizers.. they give you small portions so you can try lots of different things. We tried a ton of apps, of which I recommend the cucumber salad & egg rolls, chicken lettuce wraps and fried noodles. We had the dynamite roll, gold point roll and heart lover roll. They were all very good and everything was very fresh. The service was fast and they answered any questions we had about the menu. They make recommendations as well, if youre unsure what to order. As of the time of this post, the bbq part is not yet available. But even without that, Ive been with my family several times. The all you can eat is fantastic. You can order 3 or 4 things off the menu and add more whenever you want throughout your time there. The signature drinks look and sound great as well, although Ive not yet tried them all. We went in today and tried the sushi menu, I wish I remembered their names but 2 servers were absolutely amazing to us- I have a gluten free diet at current which can get tricky with Asian food as most soy sauce and alot of sauces have wheat. The girls took some time walking me through the menu, asking the kitchen when needed and requesting the food a certain way to ensure my diet was met. I honestly cannot express how amazing these girls were, super accommodating and understanding. We will be going back and now I know the menu well enough to know what I can have! Drove an hour to get to this place only to find out they dont have Mongolian bar-b-que AT ALL, not much else except cold sushi bar. We left without even getting seated.

We did the all you can eat, and it was absolutely worth it!! Portions are generous! Everything was delicious. The service was awesome all around from the hostess to our waitress and to the cooks. We didnt have to wait long from when we put an order in to the time it arrived at our table. And everything tasted fresh, with high quality ingredients. We definitely will be returning!

Tried the restaurant all you can eat lunch completely stuffed myself. My favorite is the mango roll. The area is nice and clean with lovely design love the paper fish hanging. Food was fresh hot food was hot cold food was cold. Friendly K staff made us feel welcome. Silverware on request other wise brush up your chop stick technique. Left stuffed

Korean BBQ option was not open yet being the first day opened, but the all you can sushi/dinner was amazing. Its unlimited and greatly portioned. Each item ordered is well plated and tempature was on point. Staff and service was exceptional. This place will go far here in Victoria, TX.
