First time in. Took my out-of-town parents (and bbq-loving dad). We all had a brisket sandwich for lunch (and a beer and some sides). Brisket was delicious and a great portion size on the sandwich. We will definitely be back! Staff was very nice and nobody seemed to mind when I walked my toddler walk around to explore the decorations. Kid-friendliness: My toddler loved all the decor (animals on the walls) they also had many high chairs/booster seats available.

My husband and I came on a busy Saturday morning. The food was PHENOMENAL! I still dont understand why the pancakes here are the best pancakes in the world, but Im here for it. Im allergic to gluten, but these pancakes are worth all the pain. We sat near the food station and Stacy is a GREAT leader. I know this morning was not easy, but he was so positive and kept motivating his team. Great leadership shines throughout their food and service of their staff. Ill definitely be back and Im grateful Tenders choose Little Elm!

We have eaten breakfast here a few times. Today we tried the basic two eggs, hashbrowns, toast and bacon. The bacon was great, the eggs were only partially cooked - runny whites puddled in the dish. The hash browns were the worst I have ever eaten. Potatoes mushy, mashed flat and fried in an attempt to make them crisp. There was some weird spice sprinkled on top which was almost sweet and was not expected. If you going to serve breakfast, get someone cooking who knows how to do this.

What an awesome night, food is amazing love that they serve the BBQ sauce on the side. And OMG the pineapple coleslaw Best coleslaw Ive ever had!!!! Had the baked potato dressed , WOW on point . So glad we have a little Elm location now. The service was outstanding honestly they were so welcoming right from when we walked in to waiting on us with fast service, to even the cook giving us dessert at the end of the night. Not only is the food delicious (we couldn t leave without buying a bottle of their homemade BBQ sauce) but the service is incredible!!! We went here for my grandmothers 85th birthday and they made her feel so special. James, the manager, was so sweet, intentional, and thoughtful. He sat with my grandmother for 20min listening to her stories. I could not recommend this place more!! Delicious food and wonderful people.

This place is definitely a 10 out of 10, highly recommend. The staff went above and beyond to make our first visit here one to remember. The manager Jason was very personable and made the dining experience even more than I could ever image. His recommendations were spot on s cooking when I would go visit & have fresh pork ribs when a hog was done showing. and felt like family by the time we had to depart. The food reminded me so much of my family The food was giving good and southern. The meat was well seasoned, tender, and moist. The macaroni had us all shook on how well they did that, like how they get it so creamy & delicious? First macaroni I didnt have to pile on salt & pepper. Then we got to try their banana pudding, and that had gave me chills. It came with bananas that the slice up to order and then layered the creamy cold pudding. I was hurt we didnt have enough stomach to finish it all. I was about to hurt myself steadily trying fit one more bite. The prices are very fair as well. The portions, the quality, the family feel, you cant beat that. Thank you so much & we shall be back.

Great BBQ and a friendly staff make this a wonderful place for lunch or dinner! From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. Ordering at the front counter was quick, and of our questions about the menu were answered, and we were immediately made aware of their lunch specials. After ordering, youre given a number placard, and you fill up your souvenir cup with the beverage of your choosing. They have an impressive selection of soda, as well as unsweetened and sweet tea, and a large dining area with plenty of seating. After checking out the multiple booths, each with its own design theme, we took our seat. Our food was delivered in a timely manner, and we were offered additional onions or pickles. I ordered the El Jefe, a massive and delicious sandwich which seemed to include every meat on the menu. The bread was thick Texas Toast, and it was very filling. We closed out the meal with a very tasty banana pudding and a refill of our drinks. I highly recommend you drop by and give this place a try!

This isnt the same Tenders as Frisco. Must be different owners. The bbq was awesome, however, the portions were lacking. They were stingy with bread, pickles and onions and seemed bothered when I asked for more. Its hard to make sandwiches with 2lbs of brisket and only a few slices of bread in my basket. I got tired of asking for basic condiments for a $80 meal we couldnt enjoy our meal. I decided to leave with my family and eat at home. Second, they dont offer the awesome kettle chips as the original location. Instead they gave me a small yellow bag of lays chips. The ambience doesnt feel like the original location. I wont visit this location anymore, but will stick to Frisco. Hopefully, they will bring back the same business model as the original. We are regular customers of this brand, however, this location isnt up to Tenders standards.

As we approached the restaurant we were greeted by one of the owners who walked us inside with in an umbrella due to the bad weather. The service overall was incredible. We had plenty of people check on us throughout our dinner and had a splendid time hearing their amazing story from the owners. I have eaten here a handful of times now, both take out and in the restaurant, and food quality is always top notch. Meats I have tried: brisket, turkey and cheddar sausage. Turkey was a little more smoked than I would prefer, but still moist and good. All other meats are very good. Their fully loaded baked potatoes, with a moist brisket topper, is my go to meal and in my book can t be beat. You always need to save room for their banana pudding as it s a throw back that hits the sweet tooth that closes out the meal with the perfect amount (as a single serve). I always leave looking forward to the return. Service is always great with people, including the managers/owners (not sure which) checking in at some point during the meal very hospitably asking how the food, service and experience is going and willing to fix / address immediately. Atmosphere can be a little loud, but it s clean, organized and casual which contributes to the overall experience. If you are looking for good barbecue and reasonable prices, for quality and quantity, I can t recommend enough to try Tender in Little Elm. Had another barbeque restaurant lined up for an order to pick up the next day. Was told it would not be ready for several hours. Checked for other barbeque near and this popped up. Been meaning to give them a try as Ive seen a store fronts open recently near me in Little Elm. Checked the website and saw we could order all we needed and pick it up within 20-30 minutes. This was 11 am on a Saturday. I was able to get 2 orders of the large family meal (feeding 8 adults and 6 small children). 4 lbs of assorted meats, and 6 pints of sides along with 2 pints of delicious banana pudding. Pickup was easy. Everything was in an easy to carry bod with everything labeled. Food was amazing and everybody got their fill! If you ever need an option for barbeque at home for a group. This is the option! Meat was like the name says, Tender!

We thought we had a great place to take visitors; now we have the best place to take visitors! Everything we have eaten here is fantastic. The meat is smoked to perfection. The sauce is so good. All the sides are good. Mac and cheese is creamy. Beans are nothing like we ve had anywhere. Try the pineapple slaw! Save room for the creamiest banana pudding! The portions are plentiful. 5 stars for our breakfast experience: Tenders is one of the best breakfast spots this side of town by far! The brisket, smoked sausage and bacon were all tasty. First time here. The lady taking our order was so nice she walked us through the different selections. We finally settled on the Frito Pie and the Heffe (combo of all their meats) We sat down and our food came out quick. I dont like baked beans much. Now to the service, it was top notch, from the patient lady taking our order all the way to the two managers, Terrance and Jason who checked on us to see how were doing. Jason and I spoke lengthy about the restaurant and process they use. I found out they even have classes on how to BBQ. To sum it up it was like going to a relatives house that you actually like. Felt at home. Either their food or their service was enough for me to go back again. Tenders in Little Elm somehow nailed both. Will definitely be going back. The staff here was very friendly and the food came out fast. Unfortunately thats the only good things I can say. I came in for breakfast and ordered the brisket with biscuits & gravy, eggs, and potatoes. The brisket they gave me was all fat. I tried and tried but could not find a single piece of edible meat in what they gave me. The brisket meat they used is a very poor quality, and it was not cooked properly to let all the fat render out. It was also mostly flavorless aside from some smoke flavor, on the tiny bit of it that I could eat. The biscuits looked good but were completely dry and flavorless. There was a big portion of eggs but again unseasoned and completely flavorless. The potatoes had a little seasoning but were undercooked. I ended up not eating more than half of what I got, because the plate of brisket fat that they served me was completely inedible, and the rest of what I got was so tasteless, dry, and underdone. A huge and expensive disappointment for food thats relatively easy to make.

Weve spent the last several weeks on a quest to find The Best Texas BBQ in North Dallas. Last Saturday - we found it! Weve eaten more brisken, beef ribs, coleslaw, etc. in the past month and tried little known venues to popular ones where you have to line up for 45 minutes just to order. Many, many good things to say about lots of them. But Tender hands down is the best. The brisket, especially the moist brisket, is perfection, the ribs are outstanding, the service is impeccable. Little Elm FINALLY has a BBQ place I recommend getting the El Jefe. (Probably misspelling it, español for The Boss) It s a Bad-A sandwich that ll let you try most of the meats they offer, so now I know what I prefer there. OMG!! Eating for the first time, trust me if you come in for breakfast you will not miss out on the meat experience, the breakfast tacos are at another level of delicious , I ordered 3, Chorizo, Jalapeño sausage and a brisket tacos, they are sooo delicious you will be wanting more. Doesnt get any better eating by the lakeside, cool breeze just perfect. The Chorizo taco just totally got me by surprise not what I expected, its smoked pulled pork, while they give you salsa, you are going to want to use the BBQ sauce, turns it up to another notch, just so delicious. The Jalapeño sausage was equally delicious, for this taco I did use the salsa, and the salsa is Mexican approved, lol. Just the right amount of heat. The king of the tacos Brisket Yuummmm! Smoky Tender- ness, lol. Now the coffee could be better, but not here for the coffee. But please if you get a chance give breakfast a shot, you will NOT be disappointed. Cant wait to do this again.

Oh my gosh, yall! Tender Smokehouse is the BEST. The food is amazing. Absolutely the best brisket. I prefer lean and the bits of burnt ends on lean. The potato salad is the best Ive had in Texas. Love the pineapple cole slaw and Im not a big fan of cole slaw. The banana pudding is the REAL recipe: vanilla pudding (I hate fake banana flavored pudding), sliced bananas, and vanilla wafers. The service was spot on. We had a big group and they were so attentive. And with all this in mind, the price is great. We have been several times and will be back many more!! (I heard breakfast is great too but havent been yet.)

Tenders Smokehouse. By far the best restaurant we have in Little Elm hands down. The ribs were like melting butter off of the bones. My 3-year-old and 7-year-old are super picky eaters, and they loved the food. My wife was in heaven she said. The staff was extraordinarily kind and attentive on top of being so patient. We got to meet the head honcho, who was probably the most genuine restaurant owner I have met. He took the time voluntarily to show myself and my daughter their process and their equipment. Definitely put a lot of care into their product. So glad to finally see a place that should be able to survive that strip of El Dorado that has plagued previous restaurants. For the family of four, it cost us around $70. And we had tons of leftovers. We could have ordered a whole lot less. Theres no doubt in my mind well be going back.

New Restaurant Review: Tenders Little Elm I have a project down the street from the new location of Tenders in Little Elm, and have been eagerly awaiting the opening of it. Well, I have good news, they are finally open! They are doing a little bit of work to the patio outside still but inside is up and ready to rock n roll. I have been to all of the locations of tenders. It s one of my favorite go to for some awesome Texan barbecue, and this location stands up to the hype! I went around 2:30 on a Friday, hadn t eaten all day, so it was definitely ready to eat! I ordered the lean brisket and the smoked turkey. Served with delicious pickles, Texas toast, and delicious BBQ sauce. The brisket was smoky and had a fabulous flavor. The turkey has a nice pepper flavor and was cooked really well. The people are really what makes Temder s stand out at every location. They go out of their way to make sure you understand the menu if it s your first time and check on you multiple times during your meal. One of the managers from the Aubrey location I recognized chatted up with a bit, really top-notch folks. The aesthetics inside are the same, rustic decor of the others, they have tall, built-in booths and tables throughout. Lots of Trophy animals around. If you are in the aLittle Elm area next to all the happening areas, tin man social, Hula hat, and like, be sure to stop by for some awesome BBQ! You won t be disappointed.

Weve been there twice. The food is AMAZING...ribs fall off the bone, brisket is moist and tender, sausage is delicious, mac and cheese is to die for and the banana pudding is delicious. I got the potato with brisket last night and a TON of brisket on top. Service is equally amazing as the food. The first time we went, my son didnt like the turkey (which was really good, btw...hes 7 so theres that), and the manager kindly offered to bring him something else. He chose the ribs and was completely happy. Then, we forgot our leftovers and realized it when we left, and they had bagged them up and put them in the fridge for us! Last night we went for my wifes birthday and we brought the cake to eat while we were there, and they brought us plates and extra forks so we could celebrate. Amazing restaurant and Im so glad they are here!

Very excited for this location to open because we love the one we have in Aubrey. Went here and my sister had ordered food first and everything she ordered looked great. I was waiting on someone so I waited to order. The line was super long so I decided to just order to go. When I got home, there was only a small strip of moist brisket on our 1 lb order, the rest was lean and most were the end part so a lot of char and pepper. Our ribs were dry as well, very different from what my sister got. The sausage were great. Everybody was very friendly and accommodating but if youre ordering to go, make sure to check the quality of your food before you leave.

Not knowing what I was getting into, I ordered one of the specials, El Jefe. What is it you ask? The most delicious BBQ you could ask for consisting of turkey, pork, sausage, brisket, a large rib, and two pieces of Texas toast. I was starving and just kept eating until I couldnt eat another bite. Then I took a few more bites because it was so good. I was surprised that I only got halfway through my meal but am looking forward to round two later. We liked the BBQ sauce so much we picked up a bottle on the way out. The service was fantastic. If you have a craving for BBQ, I highly recommend swinging by Tenders.

Best Pickles tasty. Didnt like BBQ sauce vinegary, sour and not thick. Asked for KC style sweet sauce dont have it. Ribs were good only Ate 1 took home instead of eating at table and added my sweeter KC BBQ sauce. Service great loved the Pickles Yuengling . Wife liked her turkey and beans. Pulled pork was dry and didnt seem pulled, BBQ beans looked like it had oil or grease floating on top. Mostly liquid had to search for the beans. Potato salad was sad and tasteless (no pickles, or dill, or celery, just quarters of unpeeled potatos and big chunks of egg. Dont bother with the banana pudding either. Take a soup cup, put 3 paper thin banana slices on the bottom, fill up the cup with what felt and tasted like cool whip (not pudding or custard) and then on top put one sad vanilla wafer. Overall, 1 star is too much. The folks seemed friendly and tried but the food didnt cut it.

We were truly excited to have a new BBQ place back in Little Elm, but Tender failed to live up to the hype. So first, it wasnt bad bbq but it wasnt good smokehouse bbq either. In fact, thats my first observation, no smoke flavor. We sampled the ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and sausage, and I cant say if smoke ever touched any of the meat. Second, I really didnt get any rubs or spices in the meat, it was all a bit bland. So while they did not deliver on the Smokehouse part of their name, they certainly delivered on the Tender as everything was very tender, though the ribs were this side of mushy. I try to give everyone a one off pass and will try here again, but dissapointed on the first outing due to lack of flavor.

Can I give 10 stars for service? The amount of times we were asked if we needed anything was almost funny by the end of the night. The servers were everywhere and they were SO happy and over the top with their service. It was so great to see! The manager even stopped by more than once to make sure we enjoyed our experience. Wife and I went in I got el jefe sandwich and she got the baked potato with turkey, and everything was spectacular the piece of rib that comes with el jefe was the best rib I ve ever had same with the baked beans. The turkey was perfectly juicy. Service was the best we ve ever had at a bbq place from being greeted the moment we walked in to several of the staff checking in with us through our meals and refilling our drinks and bringing more of their great pickles.

Dont take the time to write reviews often, but this place warrants it! Great food, friendly and attentive staff, and awesome atmosphere. Grabbed a pickup order within just a few days of the grand opening, and was fully prepared for them to be working out the kinks in process, etc. NOT the case - Plenty of staff, double-checking orders before they went out, food was warm, everything was fantastic. Also love the straightforward menu, which allows focus on what they do well without menu bloat. Not enough amazing things to say about this place, and will definitely be coming back! Patiently watching for this restaurant to open and it was definitely worth the wait. Plenty of parking, tons of seating inside and out, short line moved quickly, brief wait time, and fantastic food. We were so excited for this location to open because little elm is lacking on the good restaurants. It couldnt have been a better experience from the amazing staff right down to the food being melt in your mouth every bite is just as satisfying as the last. The pickles are unlike any other place youve been too. The brisket literally falls off the fork tender and moist. The bbq sauce we almost took home with us lol. What a wonderful experience! On a busy Friday night with a long line, the Tender team made this a flawless and delicious experience. From the moment you entered, there was someone greeting, offering free drinks while in line, the line moved fast, and the food came fast as well. A kindhearted manager, Jason, saw how overwhelmed I was with two toddlers and offered his help, which meant a lot. The food was fantastic. Brisket was tender, pulled pork was moist but not greasy, beans were very flavorful, pineapple slaw was surprisingly delicious, sweet potatoes were gigantic but perfectly cooked, and the Turkey was just out of this world. The kids sandwich had a generous helping of meat and the sauce was yummy. Multiple folks came by to ensure we enjoyed the food. Overall a fantastic experience.

We went here a couple of days after they opened, we got there early before it was too crowded. The food was delicious and the service is unmatched.
