Food was excellent but is not a place to sit and let your food go down. We felt rushed when the gentleman came & asked us if we had already eaten. We were finishing off our drinks & we said yes but we were still had our drink. He then said he had a large party and needed the other side of the table to move to them & we said no problem. He the presided to move the tables next to us and the people were looking at us as to why we were at their table. It was very uncomfortable and we quickly drank our drink & paid. Totally felt you were there to get your meal leave. Left very disappointed It was our first time there...

Our 1st time was this past weekend. It looked crowded, it was hot, and all... the staff did not miss! Everyone was friendly, and the way you order, having a tab open, and them bringing your food. Great idea. The food was outstanding too.

The owner was incredibly rude to my dad, he ordered the gumbo and was charged for it and after waiting for an hour he asked for the second time where it was, he replied with youre gonna be waiting til thursday then because we dont have gumbo, trying to make it out as if he was at fault. We told him that they didnt say that when we asked if it was on the way, they said they were making it (which i guess was a lie). He then smarted off saying it would be a good idea to get up and go order again instead of even offering to take his order since he didn t have any food now... never coming back here again.

I had the Big Mama boil. It was 2 lbs. of shrimp, a link of sauaage, 6 crab legs, 4 potatoes and two half cobs of corn. The flavor was great. It was not spicy at all. We went on Friday night at ~6:30 PM. There was a line to place your order, but it moved fast. Highly recommend this place. Kid-friendliness: They have an open area in the back for kids to play.

Franklins bayous food was disappointing to say the least. I feel ripped off by how much I paid and received. I paid for 2 lb crawfish, added extra sausage, potatoes, and corn. They brought only 2lb with everything. So I feel i paid extra for nothing, but at least it tasted good according to my husband. Next was the $7.99 for macaroni and cheese off the kids menu it looks to be a cheap powered cheese and did not taste well. Finally the fried crawfish tails were not worth $29.99 compared to other restruants in this area. Im sure they couldnt help all the flies flying around, but it was just extra irritating having to swat flies while eating. I noticed another customer (a boy no older than 5) having the same issue. Based off all of the reviews I was very much looking forward to eating there only to receive such a dissapointing experience.

Merely a shadow of their old 5 point location Very expensive food & drinks Atmosphere is there , but the food isn t . Food across their menu is either very bland or very salty (no real flavor in between) Crawfish prices at this location haven t adjusted with the market price (as of 5/12/24) (hopefully a vendor ordeal and not the location being greedy , fingers crossed ) Best places in Houston are down to their regular $7.99/$8.99 per pound Franklins is still charging a premium of $11per pound (for a hit or miss batch of crawfish) I was a big fan of their boils at the 5point location . Boils at the new place are missing that little something .

The minute we walked through the door, we felt very welcomed. The two sweet ladies at the front took our order and started us a tab. Before our party of three could get our waters and use the restroom, both of our appetizers were out. Less than halfway through the appetizers, our boil was out! VERY quick food service and the food was delicious. We had the boudin balls, the raw oysters, and a crawfish/shrimp boil. We added some sausage links to our boil and the only feedback we had from our food experience was we would have liked the sausage added in the same bag as our boil for flavor purposes. But that s more of a preference thing. Then we sat at the bar and had a few drinks. The bar staff was PHENOMENAL! Friendly, energetic, and made very good drinks. They have an outstanding selection in liquor and there isn t much that they don t have. We met the owners, who were working very hard along with the rest of their staff to make sure they had a smooth Sunday shift. This place is a little ways from home for us, but we will DEFINITELY be back again.

Expected better. But unfortunately we were disappointed. The first time we went, they were out of shrimp and crawfish. So we said we d try again. Well today , yeah. Horrible, gumbo tasted like chicken soup , crawfish no flavor except for what they sprinkle on top, and omg the drinks are strong af. If you re alcoholic you ll love it, but this was wayyyy tooo strong. And yes, I have drinks occasionally and like strong, but this was outter there. This is our experience give it a shot for yourself, you may like it better than we did.

Tried it out to have something different. Lots of room and space, outside seating was good, lots of room for kids to run around and play. There is an area set up where they host live music. Some fireplace tables And some bench tables. Inside is roomy and a little bit loud due to echoing. We ended up sitting outside due to the kids wanting to play the oversized games provided. Waitstaff would come occasionally and check on you. But in order to actually have food and drinks you have to go inside to the counter and order what you want and then it will be brought out to you. Not sure if it works the same inside dining. I was not pleased with not being allowed to pay cash. We had separate checks and I wanted to pay cash. I was told that I couldnt or the girl at the register would have to start over with separating tickets and redoing the whole transactions. Sounded like she didnt feel like doing all of that. Food was alright wasnt the worst nor the best. Crawfish is currently pricey no matter where you go. They didnt have kids cups with lids which normally the kids get water so we basically had to spend 18 dollars on adult sodas just to have lids. Ridiculous because none of the drinks were even close to being finished by the time we left. So for the first time trying this place I was pretty dissapointed. Might give it another try another time .

The food was great! The Cajun Mac and cheese was OK, but not as good as was described by the lady that took our order. The restaurant has a family-friendly layout with a nice play area outside for the kids. My wife and I had the fried fish and shrimp. The fried food was exceptional. The service was great as well. We ll definitely go back when in that area again.

HOTDAYUM I tell you what when you tell em to make it as spicy as they can they do not disappoint they can bring the heat lol. Was definitely good food, a solid 8.5/10 on the food and heat gotta mention the heat. Only thing was that when I got 3 cluster 2 snowcrab 1 dungeon crad (excuse the spelling please) the dungeon cluster was only just 2 legs and that was it on that, but the heat (heres the heat again ) the heat made up for that. So over all imho of a rating a solid 7/10.

Can not say that I am impressed at all. The service was amazing and the restaurant and patio area are inviting and clean. The prices were way over priced. $18 for gumbo with shrimp and $40 boil??? The food however was not great at all. The chicken cracklings were good. The gumbo was very bland and you can tell all was cooked separately. The chicken was canned the sausage was boiled the shrimp was pre frozen and placed on top of the gumbo not seasoned. I think you are ultimately paying for a new restaurant in the area that differs from the others with games in the yard and music offered. I would come for the overpriced drinks and entertainment for the more chill environment as this is what stands out but would definitely not eat again.

Awesome place for Victoria!! Super friendly staff and folks!!! 2 tiny things I would like to see them change/improve. 1. Less salt in them apps, fried pickles were way too salty. 2. Bartenders rock but a glass of bourbon isn t a 1oz glass, it s 1.5 oz. So ya get a little shorted on the drink. Other than that love love love the place!!
