Great place to find books, movies, enjoy activities they provide, have clubs or interest can join, and have other great items can checkout. Example are their stem box kits, our youngest likes to read and build.

In the South Texas area one of the Few Libraries to have a floor to ceiling enclosure for a reading area of Magazines. Downtown Victoria has many places to shop and visit. Thank God i know how to remove the Wheat from the Chaff.

Very nice staff. They have activities for kids to do as soon as you walk in and a diverse kids section in the books. Most books that I have looked for, they have, ranging from Adult Romance to Young Adult to recipe books for my dogs! They also have a lot of newer books that are popular right now. I would have to say that VPL is probably the most well-stocked public library that I have been to in a while. The layout of the library is also very easy to navigate and very open, so you dont have to feel cramped while searching for the book you want.

A great selection for a small town. Staff is always super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The library is always clean and comfortable. Everyone creates a quiet and respectful environment for everyone else.

I LOVE this place. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The place is always kept clean and has a homey feel. We come here every week for the story time for toddlers, and my daughter adores it. It really has helped her developmentally and is a great source for her to socialize. The library offers a lot of fun activities for all ages, all for free! On another note, their inventory is great. They have lots of childrens books and even offer some new gen. consoles games (PS5!)

First time at the VPL and I was so impressed. Andrew was very kind, helpful and pleasant to work with. Great experience! Printer and computer usage was great. I needed to make a very last minute print out and I got everything handled within minutes. Peace

One of the best places to go as a homeschool mom. They got mystery bags for kids to grab to do a daily activity. It actually motivates and makes them want to come to the library. The librarians are so kind and helpful on anything you may need or are looking for to teach your children. Best part is they understand small kids and how hard it is to be so quite at all times. I try to keep it low, but with 5 it s sometimes difficult. Hands down on of the best libraries I have been to in years with my kids.

This is your basic small-town library. The staff is super helpful. They have everything you would expect in a library in the way of local newspapers. They also have a few tables where you can plug in your laptop and get some work done.
