I would not recommend this motel , My aunt was staying there and told them not to go in her room to clean because they were only staying another day but they went in anyway and stole my uncles guns and the food in the refrigerator was also taken. The manager wouldn t look at the camera to see which employee went in there the police were called. Noteworthy details: This isn t a good place to stay

The location is convenient, just as you get into town and there are a few restaurants and a Walmart super close. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The outside looks a little worn (they are renovating now) but the rooms are clean and efficient. Comfy bed and pillows which is a big plus for me. Also, there is a coin op laundry room. Noteworthy details: One thing I did not know is that you can t have any guests who aren t on the reservation after 9pm. I happened to be in a town that I have friends in, otherwise it s always just me. This rule is a first for me in all my travels. I personally did not see this in print anywhere

I have been in many Motel-6 during my vacations. This is the worst one that i went. I was shown several rooms, neither of the rooms looked good and are very old and poorly renovated. The room smells cigarette smokes. I even saw small roaches roaming below my bed. Never recommend this motel to anyone.

Energy it s not good here DO NOT STAY!!! . Surrounded by unhappy staff just miserable again DONT STAY pay a few more dollars down the road for better service and more amenities. I was discriminated with my ESA here and now in a civil case with the owner and I wasn t there not even an hour. I booked through triple A with my discounted rate because it showed a bath tub and it was pet friendly I requested a lower level because I m handicapped. When I got there the associate was good but when I said yes only one pet the owner took over he put every excuse trying to push me not to stay instead of honestly saying my esa was a problem (well trained quiet 4month pit) in the car he hasn t even seen. He said he didn t have lower rooms and said I m young I could walk the steps to the room he has or not to book there not having other options and being on the road for a few days all I care for was to charge my phone bathe and sleep I took the room I m just passing by the state. I say u safe because I m a single females traveling alone he gave me the back room and they randomly came and knock multiple times. I was trying to be kind to the man because he was so uptight I saw they had a coffee maker and asked you also offer breakfast he said no this is the cheap hotel you need to pay more for that. Ok? I ignored his attitude because it was ugly and unnecessary it was just a conversation started I tried. When I got up in the room it was a small stand up shower with two medium size towel. It was a rainy day I was walking in drenched I called the front desk and ask if they had rooms with tubs they said no they were all showers then I asked if I could please get an extra towel the owner took over the phone call and said you don t get anything extra you get two towels so stop complaining or leave. I said excuse me why is it such a problem for me to get more yes I have two but it s not enough they aren t really big and I ve used one it s raining could I please get one more I m 6ft tall with hair down to my waist I m in need of more. I do not like your treatment and hung up. He then send house keeping to open my room not knock and the lady said o I thought u was checking out. Forcefully pushing for me to leave. I said no I m not it s okay. Then few minutes later the owner and house keeping are knocking he is bringing a towel and says but I would preferred you leave before anything else? Huh what else? Why is me asking for a towel this big of a problem here I don t want the extra one just wanna sleep. He try to convince me to take the towel but what he would need it s for me to use the towel then ask for another one. Like while I m showering? Huh no. I m okay thanks. I haven t done anything I m looking to shower and sleep and you guys keep knocking my door leave me alone. I wasn t welcome there but he was pushing me to take the decisions until he bluntly told me he didn t want me there and to leave now with a refund. I didn t understand why he was being nasty with me when I was nothing but kind I do believe he didn t like the fact I m paying a discounted price and bringing a dog to him my stay didn t matter because it was shortchange for him but he couldn t be honest. The police was involved and he had no valid points for them either other then they reserve the right to refuse service and left it in the air for me to stay but hell no I left wen I could while police was still there because Ik he would have more issues to get rid of me or cheat me out of my deposit. That man is an evil snake. I wasn t wanted there. Terrible scary experience never again even the other employees felt bad for me and spoke about how much of a jerk that owner is and how unhappy everyone is there. It s just a miserable environment. He abuses his authority and it s why he only hire undocumented staff to put up with him. JB is supposedly his name I curse him , his family and bloodline Rooms: Bed okay. Small stand up showers. No extra accommodation Safety: LOCK THE TOP IF YOU STAY Not safe , harassing staff knocking your door and attempting to open. Almost walked in on me before my shower Noteworthy details: Unhappy atmosphere , rude owner

My husband and I stayed for one night and it was probably the best motel 6 we have ever stayed at! The lady at the front desk was soooo nice, friendly and super helpful... I feel bad that I didnt get her name because she went above and beyond to make us feel right at home :) the room was recently renovated and the beds were extremely comfortable- I didnt want to leave. Spotless bathroom and great neighborhood . We felt totally safe. I guess this was a rough area in the past - but you can rest assured that this is no longer the case. Do not hesitate to book this motel for your stay. Terrible facilities, unbearable smell of tobacco throughout the room, hot and cold water was reversed in the keys, they gave me an incorrect access code for the Wireless Internet. Customer Service was great, the room the gave us smell a lot like smoking, and I asked the front desk lady to please change us to another room and she kindly told me to wait and they change us to another room, the new room still smell like they smoke but a little less than the first one, I spray my body spray everywhere until the smell was gone. You get what you paid for. There were some bugs in the floor that we kill, toilet not properly place it moved a lot. Outside the building was super dirty it seems it has not been clean for a while like maybe years to be honest. 5 Stars for Customer Service for sure.

It was my worst experience. As soon as I opened the door to the room, it was infested with cockroaches everywhere and water was coming out of the floor. It was a disgusting place. I dont recommend it to anyone. It had a very strong cigarette smell. In short, it was one of the worst places Ive ever seen. You can imagine, for my part, I am going to sue because they did not want to return my money for 2 nights that I paid, which of course we did not stay there for even an hour because the health of my grandchildren comes first.

I posted a length review on consumer affairs, on 06/06/23. I was having a hard time posting directly on motel 6 website. Anyway, GM Mama Rose is a GM every business needs. Why.. because, she is all about her customers and business. Our stay was to be 5 nights, unfortunately the people above us were ridiculous, they stumped, dragged, never slept, werent mindful of the people below them. It was a horrible experience, but thank you MamaRose for your help, kindness and concern, this lady knows how to handle her business. If you should stay at motel 6, please ask for GM Mama Rose . This place was very disappointing the people were very rude. Our rooms were not ready even though they said they were we were supposed to be checked in by 10 a.m. the rooms were already reserved ahead of time but when we got there our rooms were not ready at all they still gave us the room keys the room was filthy towels blankets dirt all on the floor everything in the room was just a disaster we told the people that they told us our rooms were ready one of the maids said well its not ready and it wont be ready for a while youre more than welcome to get your money back and go look elsewhere but good luck she said it in a very rude way with a lot of attitude. We waited a little bit longer cuz they said it wasnt going to take much longer we were tired and we just wanted to lay down already but they were taking their sweet time cleaning the rooms we went to go get our money back and the staff were laughing at us very unprofessional will not be returning to motel 6 in Victoria Texas again

Made reservations a couple days ahead and was told we would be able to check in at 10am when we got to the motal they said rooms where not ready and wont be till 2 or 3pm. So we went to a park and waited by 2 we Called to see if our rooms were ready they said no not till 3:15 or 3:30 got here and rooms were still not ready even though they said it was. The beds were not made, dirty towels on the dresser, floor was still dirty and Some of the staff were rude when asked a question one staff lady said it was going to take time to clean and if we didnt like it we could ask for our money back and go elsewhere but good luck finding a place to stay with attitude. We got our money back and found a much better nicer friendly place to stay not even 5 minutes later. Never going back if I could give 0 stars I would

A few roaches. Toilet didnt work the parking by our room very clustered and so many homeless people outside and if u leave u will lose your parking and other then all that we slept good thanks to God. The outside aesthetic isnt appealing but if your traveling for a contract and want to make your stretch. Its not a bad place.of course it isnt home. But thats expected. The room is clean, bathroom clean NO BUGS ETC. linens are clean, staff is approachable. Obstacles are able to be figured out with management. Thanks Mike. The mattress was way past needing to be replaced. The clerk was on the phone with her boyfriend the entire time she was checking me in. When I called to say that I had no hot water, she didnt follow up with me. When I called again about not having hot water she said what do you want me to do about it after denying my request for a different room. The room was very cheap, though. Dead roaches on the floor, no remove for the TV which was left on. We had to unplug it to get it off. At 3am the empty room next door had a TV so loud we couldnt sleep. the room phone did not work so I had to use my cell to call the office so they could come turn it off. No hot water at all. We let the shower run about 5 minutes & it finally got like warm but nowhere near hot enough for a shower. The heater does not work at all. it blew only cold air. Very noisy area. We heard every door that opened & closed, we heard people talking in other rooms & outside, plus all traffic. No soundproof anything with this place. Also nowhere to park if you are pulling a trailer or in a big truck. The only positive thing wad the lady at the front desk during check-in was very nice.

The room was clean, the bathroom was clean. Bedding and towels clean. The TV worked, the air-conditioning worked very well. The bed is 5 plus years past replacing, we woke up in trenches literally!! This hotel is in a rough area of town, I did not feel confident with locks provided on the door. They were loose and seemed weak. You definitely get what you pay for, we will never be back here as we were passing through.

No phone in room, WiFi won t connect, clerk has no control over it, no support number refrigerator had crumbs in it at least I didn t have to stay in the first room that I was given - the door was open, so I cautiously entered, saw a cigarette on the counter, so went back and was given another room. There was a nice note left by the housekeeper, Diamond

Oh my God Im the staff here was excellent The people that work in the office perfect perfect communication with you Samantha Soto, Roseanne Vasavez. The maintenance staff Mr. Mike thank you for letting me feel at home The cleaning crew I wish I could know I could say that names but everyday Ive seen them they spoke to me tell me how a good day ask me if I need my room clean I tell him yes its done before I get back man thank you all for excellent service

Only some of the front desk employees are very rude. 2 out 5 of them. The younger ones. Male and female. Ive been staying there 3 straight weekends. Put a little effort in being nice to your CUSTOMERS please. Thank you

Havnt even got to my room yet but already frustrated. The people in the office have taken 20 mins each for the last 2 people checking in. Then when it was my turn told me to wait for a shift change. Its chea so I wasnt expecting much but this was aweful for a first impression

The first room I was put into was infested with cockroaches. I asked to be moved. The front desk help came to the room. She saw what I saw and moved me into another room. The air conditioning didnt work properly in the second room. It only ran for a minute or so and would shut off. I took my key up front and told them the ac unit didnt work and I left..It was clear I wasnt going to be moved again.. Called Motel 6 customer service the next morning, that went about as well as my room stay. I was put on hold and they called the Victoria Motel 6. Said they could give me 10% off my next stay. ....at the same motel..LIKE I AM GOING TO COME BACK!!!! I also at no time lost my cool with anyone involved. It made no difference. DO NOT STAY HERE. Paid $55.00 bucks for nothing. Was treated like Id done something wrong.

I was very disappointed this time staying at Motel 6. I checked in around 5:30 pm and checked out around 12:15 am due to the number of roaches I saw. I normally get a room downstairs but, this time I was given a room upstairs and it only had a shower and the shower floor needed a bleach job and there was very little water pressure in the shower. Please call an exterminator.

She was very professional, all long with all other employees I came across, the room was super clean, and the staff was friendly and had EXCELLENT customer service skills! Low water pressure,, shower leaked out side of pipe.. hole in wall by toilet.. shower curtains stained with what looked like fecies. Floor tiles were loose, and wabbling. Besides that, kids complained because there was no remote for the television. Although we called front desk requesting remote, the person who was behind desk, led us on...she said she would have the remote sent up to us. Worse experience with motel 6 EVER!
