My experience here at PAM North has been great, the staff (PT,NURSING,CNA,Dietary) have been the best to me, always helping me and are attentive to my needs.The Doctors are always making sure my health is number one and are very kind. The care I got during my wound care journey was amazing. All of the staff that you interact with are kind and friendly. They take the time to get to know you while also managing to provide excellent wound care. When I first started going to PAM, I had several severe wounds. I was very concerned, but they managed to give me peace of mind. They treated my wounds while educating me on how to best handle follow-up care at home. I absolutely recommend PAM Wound Care for ANYONE going through any wound issues.

This facility was the best. My mother was admitted for extensive therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. She basically was total care couldn t even feed herself. With the help of the wonderful staff and therapy department my mom regained her mobility. Staff was friendly and professIonal. I was treated like family and would highly recommend HBOT. Kim and Carolyn were super at making me comfortable in the chamber. Others as well were outstanding in care and always in a friendly manner. Jessica and Katelynn were also great. Many others in the wound care Dept were all professional and friendly. Keith at the front desk was always on top of Everything and very kind. He kept us patients informed when we would be called to get our treatment. There are many more that should be mentioned that we re outstanding but since I can t remember all their names I figured I better not so I wouldn t hurt anyones feelings. All in this Dept. I was on a medical transport for Bee County Sheriff s Office with an inmate. During my time there the staff was very kind and professional with the inmate and myself. They took care of every need quickly that came up. CNA Haley was the best! She went above and beyond and made the patient feel welcomed and seemed sincere. Great hospital.

I wanted to take my time with this review, as the nurses here at PAM are ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Shout out to Miss Kaitlin, Miss Rachel, Miss Loree, Miss Carolyn, Miss Elise, Miss Kim, Miss Christina, Miss Becky, Miss Mayra, Miss Emma and Miss Maygon, who from my experience happen to be the best in wound care! There is more to wound care than just slapping a band aid on your boo-boo... These ladies by their presence, bring an atmosphere of healing and wellness, joy and mirth, plus I must mention that they truly care for their patients! It really was the highlight of my day to be seen and treated by these ladies! Although I am older than them all, I called them all Miss as I felt that they should be treated with respect. These ladies arent just some fly-by-night candy stripers, but very knowledgeable, positive, professional women, who placed me onto their schedule, and with The Lord Jesus healing power, took care of my body! I really feel as though I were family by the way I was treated. I came in with an unresponsive wound which gave another facility fits, and these ladies just laughed at it, took control of it and treated me without blinking! I am healed today by The Lords grace and these women doing what they do. I came in a little under the weather, and these women showed genuine concern, even having Miss Jessica call to check up on me! I was impressed... even more so when I had surgery while under their care, and these women of PAM took care of that as well! I have so much confidence in these nurses, that if my arm is severed in a freak accident, or if I get a splinter in my big toe, Post Acute Medical is where Im going! As a Bishop and Doctor, I highly and wholeheartedly recommend these ladies and this facility... 5 STARS!!!

I started out startled. But the first day is with caring and concern. Once I and my husband got to become comfortable with the staff each week. It was like family. These nurses are so caring and genuine. I had a very bad wound. My pcp is like I am done and referring you to post acute specialty hospital. Thanks dr Veronica valdeldovia Time went by with the different phases of healing including treatments, debridents, the staff gave 100 percent to your care . I was depressed by my major wound. But like I said between Rachel. The pa. And the nursing screw. It made menn no possible and not alone to succeed with healing. So much I want to say. I love you all and thanks for for the tips; taking me I one time out I needed you all on. Weekend and the healing, talks, and the last one good bye. By the way. Keith. At front desk. A traumatic fall injury resulted in my husband having to be treated for some serious leg wounds. We chose PAM Outpatient Wound Care Clinic with no hesitation for his treatment. The referral process went smoothly and quickly. My husband was set up for a wound care appointment the very next day. His wounds were so severe, it required for him to be on a wound vac. I was intimidated by the machine and was scared at first to help tend to his wounds at home, but the staff were very understanding, supportive, and re-assured me that they were a phone call away if I had any questions. Thankfully after weeks and weeks of wound care, my husband was discharged and has been able to return to work. I want to thank each and every nurse that helped my husband; Thank you Rachel, Kaitlyn, Maygon, Carolyn, Elise, Myra, and Becky for helping my husband heal. What a blessing we have in Victoria. After having complications after surgery on my left foot , I requested a referral to PAM for wound care. They provided excellent care and the results speak for themselves! I was outpatient from June through August, receiving hyperbaric treatment, wound care and skin grafting. The staff was second to none! Caring, compassionate and continually educating me throughout the process. They turned a very bleak situation into a success story! I brought my diabetic father here almost weekly for more than six months following a referral from his podiatrist who could not get a stubborn foot wound to heal. Just as the wound was healing another wound on the other foot developed even more severe than the original. It was quite the challenge as these two wounds seemed to take turns becoming nearly healed before deciding to regress. The medical team was top notch with an even better bedside manner. My father is independent but very frail and shuffles very slowly but he was always treated with dignity and respect. Dad is usually quite pleasant but on the occasions he was less than charitable in his words and actions they were patient and compassionate. Who could ask for more? They were always great about ensuring I had a properly documented doctor s note on their letterhead for my job on the days I had to miss work too. I will always be very grateful for the excellent care delivered with kind compassion.

Life Saving...Life Changing... Spent a month here, recovering from a very serious, near fatal illness. Extraordinary Staff who were constantly monitoring and exploring new and better ways to treat my wound. I cannot remember a time when their attitude reflected anything more than a desire to get me well. Very professional, very caring. From the specialists to the dieticians, to the Doctors and RNs, they made it possible for me to be positive about healing during a very difficult time. There is no doubtin my mind that had it not been for the grace of God and the inspired, dedicated staff, I would not have achieved such a miraculous outcome. I had to drive about 65 miles once weekly for months because Karnes County lacks the skilled professionals I discovered in Victoria. Their ability to care for and heal my stubborn wounds was only limited by my VA health insurance that dictates to PAM wound care experts to apply cheaper and less effective wound applications instead of what they know to be best for a particular patient. In my case, my wounds were very difficult to close (heal) because of poor blood circulation not only in my major leg vessels , but microvessels were affecting the healing process as well. My difficulties are vascular disease exacerbated by diabetes and heart disease. In short, if your home area is underserved and lacking wound care professionals from doctors to Nurse Practitioners to PAs to Registered Nurses and other staff, it is worth the drive to Victorias PAM wound care centers for expedient wound care services. They can handle all degrees of difficult wounds. Its important to mention that this facility has hyperbarics treatments and the health care professionals to provide the care necessary for good outcomes.

Thanks to the PAM team for taking care of my wound. Absolute excellence in everything they did for my wound. When arriving to be treated months ago masks were still being worn. Suddenly on 1 of my visits the masks were gone. It was awesome because the faces were just as I imagined beautiful! The care provided was just as great and beautiful as well. After suffering multiple fractures from a horrible auto accident that I endured in late December 2022, I was transported from Brooke Army Medical Center in late January 2023 to PAM Specially Hospital North where I began my long journey to recovery. I would like to say that I have been truly blessed by meeting such a fine group of medical professionals which have all been AMAZING! I was taken under the loving and caring wing of Rachel, Becky and Kaitlyn along with all the other wonderful nurses in Wound Care after I suffered a fractured blister that ruptured and developed a wound that needed long term care. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy was recommended and that s were I met Kim whom was very kind as she took care of me for over a month by assisting me in and out of the chamber and helped me get through the process every single day. It always helped when Keith and Jennifer always greeted me with a smile in the mornings too. I ve had many physical, emotional and spiritual trying times during this journey but with family, friends, all the great people I met at PAM and with everyone s continued prayers, I know God is going to completely heal me one day. Unfortunately I am still wheelchair bound due to some of my injuries and am dependent on a walker, but the medical treatment that I am receiving from PT, OT, Infusion and Wound Care have been EXCEPTIONAL and I can t thank them enough.. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs short term or long term care!

The PA Rachel and her fantastic staff have been treating a nasty post-surgical leg wound for a few months now, and have been doing a superb job. Recently, I ve had an antibiotic IV for a nasty infection, and David did a super painless job handling the needle! Wow, I didnt plan on being here but I am glad I ended up here. Top notched care, 2nd to none. Small town environment with big town benefits and care. All staff made me feel as if I was the only one here. You are greeted by everyone you walked by, even ones that you didnt know. They worked with you on every obstacle. From staying there for months, wound care, nurses care, dietary needs(food was great!), to out patient services( daily hyperbaric treatments, wound care visits, nurses visit). The case manager work for you and your insurance on every need. They assisted me on my entire fiasco of insurance problems. From losing insurance and regaining it back to losing it again and then getting my insurance back. They understood of your issues and worked hard for you! They know you by name and make you feel like you are family. My care started 2/10/21 and still to this day (10/7/21). Wouldnt go anywhere else unless I have to. This would be my first choice. I highly recommend them! Full medical release as of 11/8/2022! I would highly recommend this hospital. They plus the staff are top notch. The care is just awesome! They go out of their way to care for your health problems/wounds. To them, YOU are their top priority and they LISTEN to you! You are not just a number to them. I could go on and on about the staff and medical care they offered! They made you family!! Upon release, they told me that I am still their patient, so if I have any issue that come up with my injury, to come back in. Love all of them!

My son Jayden received wound care for his heel and leg from an accident in April 2022. The staff was always professional and welcoming to us during our visits and care. They spent the time to share the progress of his recovery and how to manage the wound in between his appointments. We appreciate all that they did for Jayden and would highly recommend them to anyone that needs wound care.

I recently received treatment from the Outpatient Wound Care Clinic and Hyperbarics. I cant say enough about the wonderful care that I received. The staff here is very caring and so knowledgeable.
