I was quickly greeted by salesperson Taylor, who asked if she could help me. She quickly led me to the location of all the items on my shopping list and answered questions I had about the merch. There was no waiting at the checkout and the cashier found $15.75 in coupons/rewards. It was an enjoyable visit.

We were looking for some hardware items, and I really wanted to avoid a big hardware store. I popped in, asked for help, and Roy quickly assisted me in finding what I needed. All the workers were super helpful and courteous. I got in and out in less than 10 minutes. Definitely recommend!

Lady at the back backing popcorn by the registers started yelling at my 2 daughters telling them what to do when they just didn t know where a cup was they started crying and were very sad that all they wanted was a fountain drink and this 60 year old lady was yelling at them for it they were doing g nothing wrong. Terrible service

Very friendly and well stocked store. Clean and everything is well-lit and easy to find. I would definitely spend a lot of time here if we lived in Victoria. Loved the bins filled with items for specific prices. The $2.97 bin was the best!

Since opening Ace has been known for great customer service. Everywhere you go, there is someone asking if you need assistance. Far cry better from other retailers. Unique offering of concessions, including fresh made in-house fudge. That being said, I noticed the last several times that I wasnt always greeted when I entered or asked if I needed help. I thought this was odd for them. The last visit I made right before Christmas, I was not greeted when I entered; its not a big deal, but unusual for Ace. I had decided I was going to buy a premium grill and take advantage of the sales and delivery, and no one could be found to help. When someone did show up, they helped another customer (they had been there before I), but I received no help. There was an employee nearby in the Stihl section who I tried getting their attention, but they seemed more interested in staying in their section. Several minutes later, another employee came by helping another customer who had managed to find what seemed to be the only employee around and available. She asked if she could convince me to buy a grill,to which I responded, No, Ive made my mind up. She helped that customer and was being spoken to on her walkie-talkie and quickly left. Next, I see a borage of employees with brooms ready to clean and close up shop. It was barely 5:30pm. This was my clue that they did not want a guaranteed sale, and I left. I issed out on the sale, and I dont plan on going back since customer service has tanked over the last six months. Why would I go back if I cant get help when I need it. Overall, its been a good store, I just think they are trailing off as is typical in Victoria.

Exceptional service! Huge THANK YOU to Sarah and Mark who went above and beyond. Sarah helped me troubleshoot a problem I had with my curbside order, she even offered to take it to me! Mark ended up delivering it to me later that evening! Thank you for helping a mama of five out! The store itself is well organized, stocked, and everyone is helpful, friendly, and professional! Best hardware store I know of. Any unbelievable assortment of hardware of every type, plus some nice stuff for the home, the yard etc., and the staff fall over themselves to assist you. And theyre knowledgeable about what they have, unlike many of the big box stores where they really couldnt care less.

Always a great experience. Staff are always professional and friendly and help to the best of their ability or they grab someone else to help if they cant. Price wise, some things are a little higher while some are a little lower. But overall its a good experience. Also, their paint department is awesome and very knowledgeable.

Had 15 employees ask me if I needed help then they watch your every move like you are going to steal something,it gets annoying at times when you just want to be left alone get what you need and check out,they have many things you cant get any where else but going through this I will be going somewhere else for now,7-12-2022 went in today and informed the front door greeter I didnt need any help or assistance from anyone that I just wanted to get what I needed and check out, she said she would tell the employees, started my shopping and 5 employees during 15 minutes kept on asking if I needed anything while Im trying to get things so I left everything in my shopping cart and walked out, I will for now on be shopping for my stainless steel bolts and paint at tractor supply
