Came here to celebrate the day after our anniversary and this is our second time at Texas De Brazil. Food, perfect and tasty as always. Drinks, served with care. Service, kind and friendly, great listeners. Our waitress Keri was always on top of everything we needed and made sure we had enough! And as those who come here know, that s the goal of everyone who works there! We ll be back one day soon!

Celebrated anniversary at this great restaurant. Everyone congratulated us. Food was wonderful. Some of the beef choices were a little chewy but my husband said the filet mignon and beef ribs were very tender. The salad bar was amazing and included soups and sides. I could just have salad bar and skip the meats, however the shrimp they offered was cooked perfectly. Definitely recommend this eatery.

We requested a specific meat when we first arrived. As we finished 40 min later it arrived. We would of understood if none was currently available, but we just kept being told it was coming. The drinks were less than amazing as well. The bartender that evening struggled with the proper mix for a margarita and a old fashioned. Lastly I presented a $20 off coupon and it was not reduced from our bill. For a almost $400.00 bill I expect more.

The cheesy bread is soo delicious. I consider the mashed potato and French fries they bring a filler bc it has no flavor... the spicy sirloin and filet mignon cooked medium is tasty. My least favorite is the chicken wrapped in bacon for lack of flavor or too chewy. The salad bar has meat options such as cold shrimp and salami very good. The chocolate cake is my favorite. I will say we asked multiple people if we could get our meat medium or medium rare and none brought out the right one until the manager asked if we needed anything and finally brought out a sirloin medium rare. Our waitress was also super nice. Two dinners two alcohol drinks and one dessert was about 140ish

The food, service, atmosphere, and price was all on point. Will definitely be going back. Vegetarian options: There is a great variety of vegetarian options on the salad bar. Kid-friendliness: Nice atmosphere, great food, and professional staff. My kid loved this place.

So, the buffet is pretty good. I liked that it had shrimp (2 types!) as well as potatoes au gratin, and soup. I could have done without the meat and been super happy! The variety of meat they advertise was just NOT THERE. The server had asked me what I like, and I told her I was looking forward to filet. The filet came around 1st. (Awesome!) And 2nd. (Very fatty the second time around) then nothing for 10 minutes straight while we just sat there. Then came parmesan chicken (okay,cool) then nothing for another 10 minutes. So we went back to the buffet and got more potatoes while we waited. Waitress came over a few minutes later and asked if we were finished. I told her, no, but we were just waiting for the next round. She looked surprised and asked if I had ordered anything. I told her no? I was just going to patiently wait for the next guy to come out with the meat. Then she tells me quite scoldingly that thats not how this works, and I have to ask for what I want if I dont see it. Well, thats not how it was explained to me. I didnt know we even had the option. A few minutes later she came back and apologized for being so snippy with me. She offered us a free dessert for our anniversary, told us not to let her boss know she was giving it to us because it would get her fired, then proceeded to charge us for it on the bill. We also got charged for a drink that was made wrong. We were over it and my husband did not want to escalate the situation, so we paid and left. I did not like the atmosphere at all. Its a swanky, pricey place, and I would think there would be a dress code of some kind. They sat a couple next to us, the man, wearing a wife beater tank and swim trunks, The woman was wearing a thin tank top with no bra underneath it, and a pair of cut off jean shorts. We were there for our anniversary dinner and it was a very special occasion for us. I dont think theres anything wrong with asking the patrons to dress appropriately. We drove 140 miles to go to this place, and it was very disappointing. Im kicking myself for not calling the manager over to the table. Hopefully they will see this review.

Its not too often I have the opportunity to get serious service! These guys are AWESOME! My Daughter and Son-in-law took us out to celebrate remission for my husband. As soon as we walked in we were greeted seated and treated like family. Our friendly efficient waiter kept all of his tables serviced beyond our wildest expectations. The spread was OMG sides kept appearing at our table as we enjoyed the abundant variety of meats brought right to us. When we thought we couldnt fit any more dessert choices came. I shared the cheesecake with hubby it was scrumptious !!! Granddaughter had key lime pie which she greatly enjoyed. Thank you for this wonderful time we spent with Yall. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Texas de Brazil for an EXCELLENT experience.

Ok , Ive now have been here several times , each time was worse than the last . Ive never written a review on this restaurant but I feel the need to do so tonight . First , the waiter was very attentive for about the first 10 min or until the wine & drinks were delivered. It went down hill from there . Seeing the waiter after that was like an Elvis sighting but he showed to present the Bill . Now for the food , its simply missing somthing , its like eating at Golden Corral, Golden Corral has lots of choices but the food is not seasoned or not seasoned correctly. The beef is, well not so good , the chicken & lamb stole the show if you were to be grading . Thats not good for a restaurant that beef is the headliner . For 200 bucks for my wife and myself what we got was Golden Corral with lipstick, fine china , and a table cloth . I got no prob spending 200 or 300 bucks as long as i feel like I got value . This restaurant is most definitely over priced they need to bring the food up to above the bar and take some pride otherwise your just an all you can eat buffet on some old Hwy. Take note Mr GM.

We celebrated my husband s birthday today in Texas de Brazil and we enjoyed the food. However, we did not like the atmosphere at all. We have 2 toddlers with us and as expected the kids will be a little noisy and playful. I decided to bring the kids with me in the waiting area near main entrance (not to disturb other guests) while my husband is paying the bill. But we got THE LOOK from all the staff. They looked annoyed and unhappy with my toddlers. I mean from all the staff. So we feel really bad and we do not recommend this place for families with small children. They are not kid-friendly. The server was busy so my husband waited long to pay the bill that is why my kids were playing while waiting. I did not expect to be treated like that in an expensive place like Texas De Brazil. Took my lovely wife here for her birthday on the recommendation of her brother. I was not disappointed. The atmosphere is comfortable and the service is top notch. Our server Johnathan was on point, professional, friendly, and helpful. The salad bar is amazing, but the real deal is in the variety of meats: leg of lamb, lamb roast, parm chick and pork, Brazilian sausages, fillet three ways, flank steak, and several others both regular and spicy. The dessert selections are absolutely amazing. You definitely have to get the pitch of sangria for the full experience. On a scale of 1 to 10, Texas de Brazil is an 11. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend eating here.

I ve been here a few times before.. and I m not gonna lie I was upset I was placed outside when there were spots inside and it was really warm out there butttt the waitress Karri was absolutely amazing and made it worth being out there. She was on top of everything, drink refills, clean plates, making sure specific meats we requested came to the table promptly, super kind and great energy towards us and our kids. The several flavors from many cuts of meat were on point. There is no wait, servers come by within minutes with meat to carve directly on your plate and you can go to get salad and sides immediately. I ate had a few drinks and a dessert all within 45 minutes. It would have been quicker but I tried to pace myself in between servings. All in all, it was amazing and Im looking forward to going back next month.

Unfortunately good food, poor waiter talked slot during he s service on Mothers Day put melted ice in my glass of water, hostess sat us in the center isle of a party of two we told them how uncomfortable we were seating in the center isle they failed to accommodate us, they told us every table was reserved, was a lie we were their for @ least 2 hours most tables were empty , we drove 1 hour from home, it was Mother s Fay it s only once a year ! Had a reservation last Saturday for supposed to be a celebration for my son s college graduation. The lady at the front desk was making faces already when I told her that we have a reservation. Some how she couldn t find my name and she asked any other name? , so I showed her my reservation confirmation. So after she s done scrolling her computer trying to find my name, she finally said this way . She gave us a table located in the middle of the walk way near the salad station. When we were all seated , she suddenly slammed the menu on the table right in front of us and said wait here and just turned and walk back to the front desk. All of us were disappointed of how a staff treat their guests. So we decided to just leave the place and as I walked out I told that staff that she was very rude. She may have a bad day but guests doesn t deserve to be treated that way. It was supposed to be a celebration that ended up in disappointment with the bad service. Went for early Mothers Day Dinner. It was the worst meal. All the beef portions were dry, chewy, overcooked and full of gristle. The lamb was raw, still cold. We settled on eating bananas and mashed potatoes to try and get full. It took a long time for drink refills. I will never go back.

We have dined at 15 different rodizios in 12 different states and this is the BEST. From the moment we entered we were treated well. The waitress took the time to explain the process even though we had been yo Brazilian Steakhouses before (each one has subtle difference such as whether they will give you a dinner plate or whether you get it, etc.). The salad bar was full of fresh veggies and salads, with an assortment of meats, cheeses, dressings, etc. Wine prices were very fair. The meats stood out beyond all others. Everyone else uses propane/gas in their rotisserie. Here they use charcoal for that unmistakable flavor. It does not overpower the meat, and their use of seasoning salts enhances the flavor and juicyness. Very enjoyable.

This has always been my favorite place. We only go 1-2x a year because its expensive, but worth it. We just left from eating and Im disappointed. We like our meat rare, they had medium well and well. I dont want jerky, I want the meat to melt in my mouth full of the flavor the chef created. This is the second time in 2 years we have run into this issue. The manager is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. No, I wasnt Karen, I didnt complain to anyone, but I did notice the manager assisting the staff instead of just watching them struggle. He bussed tables, he brought out meats, he filled glasses and he was extremely pleasant.

My husband and I dine at Texas de Brazil routinely for date night. The manager , Antônio Sandallo is top notch. We recently ordered to go and he helped us with our questions about our gift cards. Then when we got home with our order and realized the meat was all overcooked he quickly remade our entire order, made sure it was perfect and apologized profusely. Antonio s customer service was truly a cut above the rest , especially when good customer service is hard to find these days.

On Valentine s Day Tyrone and I went with a group to Texas De Brazil in Tyler. We gave the waitress our credit card, tipped her VERY generously. Well, the next day I look at my credit card and she charged someone else s meals to my card as well. We were only given our receipt only signed and tipped on the receipt we were given. I called them immediately no answer,I left a voicemail. No one called back this went on until Friday. I finally called again and was able to speak with someone. He tried to blame my credit card company. the credit card company is not going to charge my card a totally different amount and then give them a tip as well. He said (as if he was doing me some sort of a favor) that the second transaction that did not belong to me would be refunded. That was Friday, it s Tuesday still not refunded. Usually I don t shame businesses, but a week of going back-and-forth for THEIR mistake is absolutely egregious. I even called corporate yesterday and no one has returned my call from there either.

BEWARE DISHONEST STAFF Update February 2024: We had another disappointing experience here on Valentine s Day. We booked a month in advance and had been looking forward to it. There was some weirdness when we were being seated. Hostess got confused after walking us to a table walked us back to the hostess stand, then walked us back to the same table, weird ,but ok whatever. Then our server greeted us, but stopped halfway through as a different waiter offered us someone else s drinks, then our waiter had to debate with the table behind us because I guess he had made a mistake with their drink order. All this is happening as he s first greeting our table for the evening. Then things improve, we have a nice dinner, no more issues except I will say I was served a spoon with my dessert that was soaking wet from very very smelly dish water. Was really gross, but otherwise the meal was really nice. THEN half an hour later we are driving home, we get a call at 10:30pm from a local number. It s someone from the restaurant saying we didn t pay for one of the tabs. It was just myself and my fiance, and my sister and her fiance. We weren t a large party. We paid at the same time, I actually thought we both paid with card, but after asking my sister after this call from the restaurant she informed me that they paid with cash! The waiter took both booklets, returned with my card ran and gave my sibling their change! They then left a 25%+ cash tip on the table! So either the waiter lost the cash or kept it for himself! And they are calling me asking me to settle the ticket (reservation was under my name and number). Then suddenly the guy we are speaking to says Don t worry about it, we voided it out since you didn t answer ( I had not answered the call initially because it was 10:30pm but called back within 2 minutes after googling the number). He also said We figured it out . Did you guys magically find the cash or did that waiter get to pocket over $200 from our table alone? Insane! Won t be back after this. There s plenty of nice places to eat in Tyler without all this confusion and messiness! Original Review: Very disappointing experience at a friends birthday. Apparently at $50 a plate you still need to specify when making a reservation a week in advance that you want to sit in actual chairs, not barstools for your meal. They tried to seat our party at the only (that I saw) table in the entire restaurant on high barstools in the very back of the restaurant and refused to seat us anywhere else. Reservation was made a week in advance and this was not disclosed. Members of our party couldn t sit comfortably on them and we had to leave and go somewhere else.

Service was very bad. It took 45 minutes to get a beer and a mixed drink. Almost never got meat at the table. Tried again to get a beer and another 20 minute wait. Asked for the check. Got it promptly then took 30 mins for him to come back and get it so we can pay and leave. The food is no where as good as it should of been for the prices. The person greeting me at the door was very polite and friendly. Once I was seated, the waitress met me at the salad bar and took my drink order. She was polite. After I began eating, I had to ask for the cheesebread. Also, I had to ask for the potatoes and bananas. The meats were way too salty and overly seasoned. My first time there and I had a great time. Everyone was very nice. The food was great. There was some confusion on if the Brazilian Lemonade was non diary or not. I definitely would recommend it. This restaurant is another level amazing. When you go bring your appetite because you will need it. Everything was cooked to perfection and if you try something thats not for you its no problem. Our first visit. And to say I was impressed, would be an understatement. We were immediately seated. Sal, I believe was our waiters name, was awesome. He informed us, of the salad bar and sides, and gave us a run down on the meat selections they were serving. Everything was delicious. The salad bar was like nothing Ive ever seen. So many items to choose from. The selections of meats, cooked to however you wished, were brought to the table. We throughly enjoyed our visit, as we had been talking about visiting for months, and were so happy that we did. We are really looking forward to a return visit. If you havent been, I highly recommend you give them a try. You wont be disappointed. Dietary restrictions: They offer a wide variety of foods. Since I am allergic to shell fish, I was relieved to see so many items to choose from.

Dont have reservations? Dont bother.. They will tell you an hour wait and proceed to make you wait two hours. Telling you youre next while they seat everyone else coming through the door with a reservation for the next hour. You hear as soon as I get a table I can get you seated over and over again with no hope in sight. Do yourself a favor, get a reservation or just dont go. Food is great, maybe Ill get to eat tonight... Yet to be unknown. I have to say, for the money, I was very disappointed. We made a reservation for our family of four. We showed up on time, and we had to wait for 20 minutes before we were seated. When approaching the hostess about the delay, she was rude and started we dont have a table to seat you. My point is, why take reservations if you dont honor that? Secondly, when seated, we had to wait for an inordinate amount of time for the skewers of meat to show up. Look, it takes me quite a bit of time to earn this money. It has value. When treated disrespectfully, Im not motivated to return or to speak positively about the restaurant. I have to say I would not recommend this place for your meal. Coming to an establishment like this, one should be treated with honor and respect. My familys experience was not life this. You, of course, can do what you wish. My advice is that you take your hard earned money to somewhere that will appreciate you and your hard earned dollars .

I ve been to this location multiple times and never been let down until tonight. The food was excellent as normal but the service was far below expectation. Even once the manager came over and talked to us and we voiced our concern and nothing was done. Multiple times we were passed on by servers or just Blatantly ignored. Overall experience was a let down for that price. Update: we gave this location another shot. Once again it was a let down. The service at this location compared to others is sub par. Multiple times there would be no servers even on the floor to accommodate guest. Our waiter attempted to assist in the matter but was left standing out of the way. They manager Tony did a wonderful job holding up the hostess stand instead of managing the restaurant. Not once did he walk around and check on guests. 10/10 would not recommend this location.

We dined in this evening celebrating my husbands birthday. We had a party of 4 and all enjoyed all the delicious food. From the salad bar to all the meat. There was no shortage of appetite. I have have celebrated my birthday here for the past 3 years. I also eat here periodically. I had a dinner there 11/25 at 7 pm. I had over 10 guests. The food was great as always. My complaint was and I even went to the waiter and asked why was we not be served any meat. The meat servers were not coming around. We ordered drinks and some of my guests never got there drinks. Other than that the food was great.

The food was ok, in my opinion it was no better than outback or roadhouse. The salad bar was a disappointment, there wasnt enough meats to even make a chef salad . So this is where my mom chose to have my daughters 16th birthday dinner. It was 54.11 each person and I drank water. The meats were good, but not $54.11 good! The salad bar wasnt as good as I was expecting. I was hoping for more salad options like turkey, eggs, cucumbers. Vegetarian options: On the salad bar there are alot of vegetarian options, however I sure wouldnt pay 49.99 for salad only. Better go to Jasons Deli. Parking: Plenty of parking is available! I arrived at 8:16 and pulled up to a front door spot.

I am giving 4 stars for the food because being a Brazilian steak house , it lacked a lot of the Brazilian staples most steakhouses will carry. Most of the salad bar is very Americanized. They also didnt have any Brazilian desserts besides the flan. But the food is great, the service was outstanding and it was any first time in this location and we for free desserts because it was our wedding anniversary. Definitely a place to check out if youre in Tyler area!

The parking is better than the one in Dallas (more room). It is newer than the one on Dallas. Understand, I loved the Dallas one. I got a free dessert for my birthday. The waitress was wonderful. She refilled our water and sent the servers with the meats we liked to our table. We got there Saturday evening at opening a d had a very short wait. We were coming back from a church event in Athens and said why not try to go there. My son and daughter-in-law had gone there in September a d they had enjoyed it also. They also have a military discount.

Service could be better. Always friendly but we always have to wait for our table for at least 10-15 mins even if we have reservations. Everyone from your party needs to be present before being seated. From the few times I ve been, the servers are nowhere to be found and we need to let them know to clear our plates, even though the restaurant isn t that full. The rotating meat was good on Sunday night. The salad bar was decent but wish there were more hot food options. The potatoes and mushrooms are my favorite. Ask for the bananas! They taste like banana churros! Great to have this place in Tyler nevertheless.

Going to Texas de Brazil was quite the experience. The food was amazing and the method they bring out each entree was unique. I enjoyed the waves of meat that came to the table and also having access to their salad bar made this experience perfect. I just wish I could have eaten more. Be ready to drop some money when going here, however for me; the experience is worth it. *Updated* I have since gone here a second time. My Anniversary experience was amazing. Everything tastes amazing. They bring the meat to you, and the little cheesebread rolls too, which are fantastic. Only have to navigate the buffet for veggies and sides. Most times, you will want to book a reservation. They do sometimes fill up. There is also a low-key dress code. Not too strict, but dont come in sweats or dusty work clothes. The only downside is that it is pretty expensive. Good for small group special occasions, but most people wouldnt be able to afford eating there regularly. They DO offer a verterans discount, but only on the vets meal, and there has to be a full priced meal on the bill for each discounted meal. It actually makes it a LOT more affordable, but I cant recall the exact numbers. Vegetarian options: The meat is the draw, but there are tons of vegetarian options, and just the buffet bar is priced lower than the whole meaty experience.
