You don t have to go to Galveston beach to have great seafood since this is the best seafood place in Tyler! I highly recommend the Cajun combo with crab and shrimp and their clam chowder soup is the best I ever had in my life! Highly recommend this amazing restaurant and their great service!

Fast seating I ordered fried fish didnt like the seasoning. My husband ordered the #1 he loved it,. We wasnt finishing eating so she brings bag and go box bagged everything thing up and said take your time. How can we when you bagged our food up. Have visited prior, we will return. YUMMY! I am not particularly fond of seafood. Not even a champion of the Cajon food. THIS PLACE ROCKS! I absolutely loved the food, the prompt service, the adequate accessories, and the overall experience! I drove 500 miles to visit here today. Absolutely worth every mile, every minute, every clown that only thinks he can drive! If your visiting Tyler, this place is a must! PS. We not only eat like king and queen, we took home more than we ate! Great value! Great snow crab! Parking: For a Saturday evening they were winding down at 9pm. They stayed open plenty long enough to totally wreck my diet! Well done! Wheelchair accessibility: Long ramp right in front.

Went to the mighty crab last night. The food was great. The waitress was amazing. There was a worker walking around with someone s baby . There was a live performance which was awesome too! This was my favorite fried fish/shrimp spot in Tyler until recently. During my last visit, I noticed they change the fries! Their Cajun fries were yummy but now they serve overcooked crinkled fries. Also, their fried catfish tasted very weird. However, their fried shrimp was still pretty good. Service is always just blah. I feel like the staff doesn t ever really want to be there. Overall, this spot has gone downhill fast and I will not be returning.

Sadly, for my wife, they dont sell coke products, so that is a return deal breaker for my wife. We were told that it was due to COVID Coke distribution issues. At this point they sell Pepsi, so they are probably not going to switch. However, I dont understand why their online digital menu still shows coke, and why they havent reprinted their menus, or made stickers to go over the coke logos with Pepsi. The food was kind if expensive, as seafood is, but mostly good. My sons fried oysters were a little underdone, and he did not care for them, but that has more to do with him, than the restaurant.

Great prices on appetizers, with excellent drinks. (Ocean and Spongebob themed adult drinks!) Nice reasonable range of dishes with portion sizes that had us taking some of the yum home for later. They have a spice scale for some of the meal options, which really does have some zang to it! There were also specials listed for the days of the week and lunch! We enjoyed our meal as did the kids. The atmosphere has a nautical charm, and the staff seemed to all be bubbly. Like happy clams. I did not get to see the bathrooms. However, the rest of the place was tidy, as were the floors and the seating. Theres fresh butcher paper laid on the tables, too! The live music was nice, as the musican was playing to the size of the room and to the audience; sonthere wasnt any competition for listening to the conversations happening at my table. (We sat across the room from the musician.) This place definitely wins a spot in our family lunch/dinner out shuffle! Kid-friendliness: The decor was a visual treat for the kids to look over as we waited for our food. There were spicy-free and seafood free options on the kids menu. Also, a cute photo op with a Mighty Crab! There was live music, something to be wary about if little ones have sensitive ears.

Amazing dinner! We went on a Monday night and it was a bit quiet but a wonderful dinner. Great service and great margaritas. My wife splurged and got the King Crab which was amazing! I had a combination of shrimp and scallops in a spicy cagun sauce. Everything was great. I have never had scallops in a seafood boil and I would highly recommend it.

Went with friends last night for dinner. I ordered the 5 pounds of crawfish. I have never had crawfish cooked in oil before, I am not a fan at all of that, they were horrible. Waht a waste of crawfish. The others seemed to enjoy their food, they had the crab and shrimp. I decided to grab the check and pay it, $423. I didnt see the $60.00 gratuity added to the bill. I always tip fair to all servers. I have never liked a place that adds this kind of gratuity to my bill. That alone is enough for me to never go back. The fish my wife had was greasy, and not good at all. First, and last time going to this resturant. I am not a fan of their food at all. Crawfish should be boiled in water, with no oil. All the flavor of these crawfish was on the outside of the shell, to me the inside of the meat was flavorless, and dry, no flavor in the head. Absolutely the worst crawfish I have ever had. Very disappointing.

I have grown up with seafood restaurants in the family so Im kinda hard on seafood restaurants reviews . The place looks great like a seafood place should look . Food was next level . Love ability to mix and match to create your own custom boil bag . Server was in training and did great job . Will definitely be coming back next time Im in the area . So many great options . The Dungeness crab and snow crab were both great . Shrimp were delicious and crawfish were good but on the small side but as good as expected for this year being bad year for crawfish . Wish I would have took pictures. The food was delicious. My daughter ordered The Weekender and she absolutely loved it. The staff was busy but attentive. The atmosphere was lively and fun. They had a little band playing the night we went and it added to the experience. The only problem was the food was a touch pricey especially if you are like us and have teenage kids. Perfect for a date night though. We were especially surprised on how clean the place was. Went there today for the first time! After 4 on a Monday when it was raining really hard, so there was only two other tables that had customers in them. So we were greeted and sat down immediately! I stayed in Tyler last night as I had something occurring this morning. I was staying right next door to this restaurant, so felt it easiest to just order from here. The food was good and staff were nice. I got the combo B (shrimp, sausage & crab boil). I ve had crab boil all the time before today, so it made sense to just get that. However within 20 minutes of eating it and continuing through this very post, I have been vomiting and having severe diarrhea. Not sure if the food was prepared poorly, was old, or what. It was very uncomfortable . I will NOT be returning. The food was mediocre, I did not care for the herbs or seasonings they used on their boil bags.

I been here three times first time our waitress was Shelby and she was so attentive with us and the food is really good for the price. Our second and third time was a disappointment with the waitress only, not attentive at all forgot certain dressing for some of the dishes we order and cocktails drinks we order took them for ever to bring them to us. They where NOT busy at at all. I also notice the women at the bar was more busy talking to other waitress sitting instead of preparing our drinks, I did notice when our waitress told her about our drinks. I really like the food there but the service needs to IMPROVE BIG TIME!! Bad service, Bad tip !! It was about 3 months ago since my last visit.

Decor is so fun to look at! We had the mighty crab meal with fried catfish, calamari, chicken wings, shrimp, soft shell crab and Cajun fries. Everything was cooked perfectly. We also tried the grilled oysters HOT and they were so delicious (I don t even eat oysters and I had 5 of the twelve!) Highly recommend this restaurant. Shay was super sweet and provided great service

We went on a Monday afternoon. It was pretty quiet only a couple customers. Definitely worth the visit! Pleasant coastal vibe, good service and excellent food! We got the special: a boil bag with a full pound of snow crab (two halfclusters), a free half pound of headless shrimp, 4 potato halves and a half corn. Cooked in a mild Cajun/garlic sauce. Messy, but worth it! They provide bibs, gloves and crab cracking tool. Ill go again for sure!!!

Best seafood I have had in years. Just came in from Minnesota needed to eat and this place was across the way. I ordered a special with Snow crab legs, shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes and the weird thing to me is it had a boiled egg in it. It was un expected but great. This place lets you choose the type of boil kind of like a hot wing place choosing the sauce. I choose the medium. I was great. Like fore real this place should be packed everyday. The servers were great. The bartender she was awesome very attenuative made me an Irish coffee before my to go order. I will defiantly come back.

Well be meeting there tonight with my family at 1730H. New years day. First time I gave review without going there first. Ha!ha! But were a frequent customer at their West Monroe, LA branch. The stars I gave now may go up or down depending on our experience tonight. Well see. ( Im also comparing Laughing crab, Juicy seafood and Uncle Jacks since Shell Shack was closed). Addendum: Well, our experience tonight was wonderful. The server was very attentive and friendly. We were given free crab rangoon which was very good. We ordered the family meal #2, a dozen raw oysters, fried sweet potatoes and fried calamari. There were 5 of us and we still brought home food we didnt finish because theres a lot. Overall, 5 stars they deserved. Well come back again definitely. Addendum: Went back today. Yummm!

We ate around 9:15 pm on a Saturday night, parked right in front, we were seated immediately. Food was great was not smothered in sauce. They have a nice large oval bar and even had a live band. Only reason I gave 4 stars on atmosphere was the band was a little loud making it hard to carry a conversation. But I figured it was because the place was not crowded. We will definitely be eating here alot.

The atmosphere here is pretty nice. They had a live band, which was good, a little loud, but still good. The food is decent. I ordered 1 lb of snow crab, and it was brought to me cold with seasoning. I asked to send them back, and they recooked them. When they brought them back out, 1 cluster was hot, and the other was still cold. I let them know, and the manager said that I shouldve checked and let them know as soon as I received them the 2nd time. They did add a small discount to the crab, which didnt really change the price. I wont be returning.

Went today for the first and last time. Food was horrible. Crab cakes were as dry as my yard, the fries were mushy and uncooked. The restaurant smells like they had been cleaning fish at the bar. The service was fine, but dont eat the food. Get a fish sandwich at McDonalds because its much better and cheaper. Dont waste your money.

Good food! I had the snow crab and shrimp special, wife had the raw oysters. Both meals were delicious. A bit pricey, domestic drafts were $5.75 each. Atmosphere was typical ocean stuff, which is what I would expect from a seafood restaurant. I ll go back!
