Really good locally owned restaurant! Ask for the hotter salsa that you can add to the regular salsa to kick it up. I usually take refried beans for granted, these were exceptional, very flavorful!

Wonderful Christian family and the excellent way they run this restaurant is amazing. The food is so good and they make sure you dont leave hungry!! If you havent been there you need to go. Get there before 5 and get your take out because they close, and they are closed on Sunday for Worship! Breakfast and lunch could not be better and everything made from scratch. Cant say enough about this awesome place. Parking: Keep looking you will find a spot! Worth it!

Restaurant employees came off as very racist and rude.I tried multiple times to ask questions about the menu and for assistance and they refused to help me and ignored me while they assisted other customers..I would never treat another human being like this.

This is a cute, colorful restaurant with a friendly staff and great food. The plates we ordered were big with plenty of food and delicious tortillas. The regular red salsa was very mild, but they also have green salsa that will knock your socks off if you need something spicier. Well be back the next time were in Tyler.

My office goes here weekly. They are very accommodating for a group that can be 12 plus. Food is quick, good with variety. Salsa is excellent and if you like spicy, mix in the green sauce. Personal favorite is the Tex-Mex enchiladas.

Walked in at 3:20pm and half the chairs are up on the tables. Was directed to the booth closest to the doors and register. Its hot by the doors. Asked to sit at a booth further away. Told the area is closed...look I love this place for their food, but thats just terrible. I get it you close at 5pm everyday and want to get out at a decent time but its only 3:20pm on Friday. 3yrs ago: This place never disappoints! The Monterey fajita combo was on point! The beef fajita was so tender that it could be cut with a fork. The chicken was juicy and there were plenty of veggies an mushrooms. The portions are big, we shared this between 2 people and had a hard time finishing it. I absolutely love the chips and salsa. Its one of Tylers well hidden gems.

Every time I go to La Plazita, I love it! Their tamales are especially my favorite, but honorable mentions are there empanadas and quesadillas. The only thing I dont like about them is they close so early (5pm), but its a family owned restaurant, so its understandable!

Having a Mexican heritage and being from Arizona, I tend to be picky about my Mexican food. However I felt like I was back at home here with their authentic flavors. I had the pleasure of visiting another family restaurant called La Plazita the other afternoon. It is a quaint restaurant with meals cooked in the back that are generous and delicious! I chose the Three Colors Enchiladas that came in beef or chicken with three of their homemade sauces, rice and refried beans. The meal came with chips and house made salsa. Delicious! By the way, the photo of the enchiladas is not edited in any way. It was as good as it looks!

We have been seriously disappointed in the way management has handled business in the last 6 months. We called today at 3:00 and asked when they closed. We were told 4-no mention of when they only accepted pick up orders. We showed up at 3:30 and they refused to serve us. We were informed they were only taking pick up orders at that time. We have driven out of our way several times, only to be refused service. It used to be one of our favorite places, but we have learned to not waste our time attempting to show up and support local business.
