Dining here was like a dream! The authentic Venezuelan flavors took me straight back to my roots. Every dish was bursting with flavor, from the perfectly made arepas to the delicious pabellón criollo. The service was warm and welcoming, and the ambiance felt like home. Its hard to find a place that captures the true essence of Venezuelan cuisine, but this restaurant does it flawlessly. I cant wait to come back!

My wife and I absolutely love this place!! Weve been multiple times and plan to go back. Each variety of arepa weve tried has been delicious. The pabellon is fantastic (both the bowl and the arepa). The tres and cuatro leches are both amazing. Especially the cuatro leches, which has dulce de leche on top. Dont worry about selecting the right thing; you cant go wrong with any of the food. P.S. buy the large guasacaca, you can never have too much of it

The pabellon arepa has been my go to savory dish but the bowl is just as good. Have a hard time picking a sweet as they have all be so delicious. Glad I tried this profiterole instead of sticking with my usual brownie, lemon bar or guava cheesecake.

My friend said, Since Im Boujee, I would love this spot. She didnt lie! The chicken empanadas were delicious. I tried three desserts and enjoyed all three. The home made drink was very refreshing. Fresh, clean, and friendly establishment.

I went by to get some takeout today on my way home. I had never been, but decided on 2 ground beef empanadas, a half order of tequenos and a profiterole for something sweet. Total was around $23, which I thought might be a little pricey. Once I got home, though, I saw it was right on the money. One empanada is enough for a meal, coupled with half of the half order of tequenos. So, I have enough left for a meal later. And now on to the food. The empanadas are fantastic. The beef is ground so fine and seasoned perfectly. The cheese tequenos are tasty too and the green sauce that they include for dipping is supreme. Ive saved the profiterole for later, but I expect nothing but perfection from it too. And on a side note, the place is bright, clean and an all around great atmosphere. Two big thumbs up

Enjoyed empanadas and a pasticcio, all three were quite, quite good. It was our first time there, and we had to pass on dessert, but every single one looked exceptional. I do plan to return if for no other reason than some tres leches or quatro leches cake...and my wife has a plan for the flan.

This place is a great spot if you are wanting some of the best cake you can find in the ETX area and also great food and very kind people. Although being a little bit on the pricy side it is good and worth going every now and then. Also in a nice area of town with the True Vine and Sola Bread company basically in the same parking lot which are great hangout spots. Somewhat of a small interior so if you are wanting to eat, its better to get it to go but other than that very good!

My wife and I took our kids here and we absolutely loved it. There is an excellent family that owns it--they are so nice. Enjoyed talking to them and loved the food. We went in to get a small, late lunch, but also got the small passion fruit pie, and now we are really looking forward to trying a lot of the other baked goods/sweets. Very good!

Really nice woman at the front helped us pick out our savory items. We got empanadas and they were great - thick, nicely fried, good flavor, tasty and not too hot sauce. I got the mocha cake. It was fluffy, soaked in syrup with plenty of not too sweet whipped cream icing. They have the bubble gum flavored soda that is hard to find, homemade fruit drinks, and a alcoholic fermented drink, among others. Cute store with outside seating available. Nice for a date or work lunch.

After having empanadas in Puerto Rico last year on a work trip, my wife and I thought we d never find its equal back in the states. At Lemon Yellow, we found something better!!! The empanadas were hit and fresh. I had cheese and then ground beef. Both were crispy, hot and the perfect blend of savory sweet! By far the best I ve ever had!! But it didn t stop there! They had several other options and a bakery case of goodies! Everything I tried was a wonderful combination of light, fluffy, sweet, flaky! All the right flavors and textures in perfect harmony!! The food is really delicious, there is nothing to say about it, the empanadas were crispy and fresh, the sauce was delicious, the only bad thing is that the girls attention was not so good to the customers who were in front of me, she was very attentive to them. He put his order to go in a bag, he gave it napkins and cutlery, instead he gave me the box in my hands and asked me, do you want a bag? When my order was also for takeout, THEY DID NOT GIVE ME A SINGLE NAPKIN...!! Kind, friendly and helpful treatment should be for everyone equally because we all pay for the food we bring

Empanadas are fried fresh to order, and only take roughly 5 minutes. They re fried perfectly crispy, not greasy. The cheese empanadas have a great cheese pull and a generous amount of cheese. The chicken empanadas are mildly spiced, tender, and savory.

I can never say enough good things about this place. Everything, and I literally mean everything, tastes amazing. The tequeños, guava cheesecake, and alfajores are personal favorites, but I have now discovered more items that I will never be able to live without. The cachapas pavillon is the most immaculate blend of sweet and savory flavors in an entree (it can easily feed 2, especially if you want to save room for other items). Sweet plantains, beans, cream, beef, cheese chef s kiss! I normally do not like flan. Never have. It s too gelatinous and eggy, however, this Puerto Rican flan is different. It s more like the texture of cheesecake and is incredible! I finally like flan! The incredible women who created this place have opened my tastebuds to new foods and have become a must go-to every time I m in Tyler (I live in the Houston area).

By far the absolute best empanadas, tequeños, and arepas I have ever had. The service from the all the workers is phenomenal!! I can t forget the green sauce, it s to die for I also had them cater two different events I had and everyone loved the food! Awesome experience, the latin dishes are Venezuelan, Ecuadorean and Puerto Rican (to name a few) The recipes have all been delicious I recommend a hardy Arepa grilled/ asada de pabellon and then top it off with a mouthwatering bite size pastry. No recommendations there, you can just pick what you want. Make sure you eat an entree first to avoid the guilt trip of having too many sweets. (I ve done it)

Drove all the way from Denton to try Lemmon Yellow Latin Bites in Tyler and it was all worth it. The food is extraordinary, delicious, and one of a kind. From the Tequeños, Cachapas, Arepa Reina Pepiada to the wonderful sweets from both Puerto Rico and Venezuela it is worth trying it all. We are so excited to have Latin food in Tyler! And we are even more excited that it is delicious!!! We ordered the empanadas mechadas and Domino. Both were flavorful, and the salsa was perfect for dipping. The pastelitos molidas, mechadas y guayaba con queso were also so yummy. My favorite item was definitely the alfajores, as these are my favorite cookies in the world! They are airy shortbread cookies filled with dulce de leche and they went perfectly with a cafe con leche. Overall, we cannot wait to return and continue to support them. The owners were extremely sweet and knowledgeable about the menu, as well as speaking to us about food from our own culture. We wish yall the best of success! Great experience and great food! The lady at the counter was awesome and explained the food items, best sellers, etc. Her enthusiasm and joy was as infectious as the food was amazing. Will definitely return as our Tyler office happens to be next door. We didnt try any sweet treats today, but I will be back soon and will review then as well. Must try!

Kid-friendliness: Yes, the entire menu is child-friendly, such as tequeños, arepitas, empanadas and natural juices, sodas and sweets. The menu is friendly for all the kids. I recommend the tequeños, empanadas, arepitas, cachitos, natural juice, sodas and desserts. Wheelchair accessibility: Adequate access for people in wheelchairs in all its facilities. When we heard and saw the promotional video about Lemon Yellow Latin Bites,Bakery; We decided to take the 2-hour trip from Dallas to visit them and try them out. The food is excellent! The empanadas with beef were delicious they are a small round pie and 3 would be perfectly filling. Pastellitos were more like a meat pie shape but with a corn masa shell (reminded me of a corn dog coating, BUT WAY BETTER) We had the beef and the Pabellon and both were phenomenal. The cheese fingers were also amazing and I dont even know how to explain them, and they all came with a small amount of cilantro salsa ( no spice just a pleasantly sweet and savory dip). Then we had some dessert, a guava stuffed puff pastry and a passion fruit pie, both were very delicious. This is a small place with only about 15 seats, and the owners and staff were very friendly.

Incredible experience! I tried their passion fruits mini pie, bean and cheese empanada, and their Venezuelan empanada (chicken, black bean, and plantain). All the food was incredible, their hospitality was even better. Thank you Lemon Yellow to bringing the latin vibes to Tyler.
