Stopped by for a dirty chai and a raspberry danish. I finished the whole danish on the drive home! Dirty chai was just ok, but my tastes lean milky-sweet.

Every visit to The Foundry is positive! The staff are incredibly friendly and exceptionally knowledgeable. They go above and beyond by not only suggesting flavors but also sharing fascinating details about the coffee and its preparation. Although the food selection is limited, each option is absolutely delectable and adds to the overall experience. This place consistently delivers a top-notch coffee experience, and I can t recommend it highly enough!

The chai latte was good, and the workers were friendly. The floors were clean. No complaints. Dietary restrictions: I believe there were milk substitutes. Parking: There is parking at the front of the building/lot, and there is parking on the side. Kid-friendliness: Workers were friendly, creating a positive atmosphere. However, I was only there for a few minutes because I got take-out. Wheelchair accessibility: I wasnt really looking for wheelchair accessible parking spots, but I did notice one spot reserved for those with wheelchairs.

The Foundry Coffee House is a great destination for coffee, tea, pastries, and other items. Interior environment, layout, and furnishings rival any coffee house in larger cities. This one, however, is a gem in Tyler, Texas. Staff are well trained, efficient, polite, knowledgeable, and authentically friendly. Business is well run. Great destination and community! Bravo!!! Parking: Shop was very busy, and there was ample parking Kid-friendliness: Family friendly Wheelchair accessibility: ADA compliant with plenty of room to maneuver for anyone needing/wanting extra space.

The Foundry is amazing for a dial-in or zone-out mood of a day. I come here all the time, and the service is always kindness from all fronts. If I were to describe the Foundry as a piece of art. It would be the place where people go to eat shwarma at the end of the day, after crime fighting aliens. Saving planet earth. The place where all heroes go to rest. (Not die)

Hate to give this place such a bad review, but when you spend $5 on a small iced latte I expect it to be at least decent. This one tasted horrible. Tasted burnt, bitter, and acidic. Almost tasted like they took old coffee from a pot that s been sitting since the morning and just added ice and some milk. The inside is cool and the staff was nice.

A great little coffee shop. Their actual coffee has a bit of that burnt, Starbuck-y flavor that Im not the biggest fan of, but for some thats the best possible selling point. The people and the place are exemplary, and would always be my go-to place for a meeting downtown.

My husband and I have been coming to the foundry for almost a decade and it is pretty much always a 5/5. The people and the coffee itself are all amazing! HOWEVER, respectfully, the London fogs need some work (as much as I hate to say it). I am a bit of a London fog snob if you will; but it seems often the earl grey isn t steeped long enough. Most recently I got London Fog that wasn t steeped close to the time it should have been and had no syrup resulting in a very flavorless LF. Ily Foundry Coffee House <3

12/2023 update: Still going strong. Bottomless drip coffee, mix and match your varieties when you get refills - cant go wrong. The Foundry has been a downtown-area staple for some time now. If your first priority is getting your feine on, this is the place to go - bottomless drip coffee and iced tea feature prominently on their simple menu. Parking directly adjacent to the building is limited, but theres more than enough in the garage across the street. The Foundrys hours are great, theres lots of seating, and their outdoor garden seating area is nicely appointed. The baristas are very friendly. You might get your drink paid for - but if you want to pay this forward, bring cash.

We were visiting from out of town (from fort worth) and I just have to say how I walked in feeling excited to get a cup of coffee but exited feeling like I wasnt cool enough to be apart of The Foundry club. We didnt feel welcome the minute we walked into this place between the dirty looks from the regulars to the sauciness from the people at the counter. I get it, coffee shops attract certain people, but it isnt that hard to be kind. I couldnt even drink my coffee because of the bad taste it left in my mouth from my experience. Better yet I went to another coffee shop and they asked me about how my day was going. I explained what happened and they didnt even look shocked to hear about my experience then told me how they can be very clicky and if you are a regular theyll probably treat you better. Just upsetting.

I drink alot of coffee and get coffee everywhere i go and they are the best for sure. I only get straight black coffee but the taste is amazing. I also like how they treat everyone the same whether youre a lawyer, a judge, a construction worker, a mom with four kids or a homeless person, they treat everyone with nothing but dignity, respect and kindness. Every time Im in Tyler I try to stop by for a large cup of joe.

So I was having a good day today and wanted to go this coffee shop to study. I have came here multiple times in the past and the people were always nice and greeted me. So it made feel welcomed. I got out of school today , got my $4 coffee from McDonald s and came here. I was greeted and I went to the restroom and came out to find me a seat. As I was unpacking my things a lady employee came up to me told me that I couldn t bring my outside drink inside. I stopped and was taking back by her comment. She goes on the explain that my drink was basically competition against their business and that I would have to trash it or leave. I looked around for a moment and I decided to leave. After I settled down I called to speak to the manager. So he basically told me the same thing. What I don t understand is why isn t there a sign up. Then how come I seen a white lady come in with her drink in a Stanley cup and nothing was said to her. What I don t understand is me bringing in a drink whether it s coffee or not does not affect you or your business like the manager stated. You losing business has nothing to do with my drink or me. Obviously you were losing business before I came in here. Then he started mentioning all these other coffee places and how his coffee was cheaper. He also used an example of buying a Pizza Hut and taking it to Olive Garden to eat. Then he was saying that I was basically using their business by coming to study and bringing my drink that I paid for. So if I come to with a bag chips nor do I buy anything at all will you ask me to leave or will that offend you. Then he told me that I was taking up a table with my outside drink for the people that came there to support their business. All the while you telling me that y all are a nonprofit organization with a ministry. Obviously you not serving the right of God and your ministry need to be reevaluated and the people too. As a black woman I felt very uncomfortable and not wanted. Which I already deal with enough. I do feel like they were being prejudiced towards me over a drink. It makes me wonder do they do every black person like that. Do they treat everyone that comes in there with their own drink like that. If I came in there with my Owala water bottle and my coffee in it they wouldn t have know that. But would I still have been asked to leave? I will never come back here. I will go where I m welcomed. I am welcomed because God says so. Not because of this place says so. At the end of the day I want to tell my experience that I went through in hopes that no one else ever has to experience what I went through.

The scone I ordered was housed in a refrigerator, and when I ordered he asked if I wanted it heated up. Ive never had a scone heated up, but Ive also never had a refrigerated scone. Overall, I was creeped out by this place and the general vibe. Everyone looked the same and appeared to be reading the same book kind of like out of a dystopian film. I know thats out of cafes hands though. The staff was really nice and they played some good 80s tunes for a bit.

This is also when I found out that this business is in a church. They dont serve Frappuccino so I got a cold brew and a blueberry muffin. The coffee was a little stronger than I like but I cant blame them for that (I like my sugar with coffee and cream). It was a little awkward be around so many christians at one time but I kept to myself and enjoyed breakfast. In all honesty, I probably wont go back, but if you like coffee and church then you should give them a try.

Very bitter coffee. Not very flavorful other than bitterness. Had high hopes after viewing ratings but not pleasant by any means.

Nice coffee shop. Their cookies are amazing, and coffee is good. Personally I prefer the coffee around the corner at 1948 a bit better, but the cookies these cookies are delicious. Go there just to satisfy the cookie craving your having now.

So disappointing!! The waiter that tended my table made racist comments about me and it is disgusting to think we still live in a country like this. Never going back and only giving it one star because google still doesnt have negative stars.. very disappointing as a service member to feel like I serve this country.. yet the people like that lady are so humiliating. I was told to drink my coffeein a rush because the store would be closing in 5 min. After leaving I realized they would be open for 3 additional hours. With such treatment I had no energy to speak with the manager but I hope they fix their staff

I hate coming into places right at closing but we re visiting from SoCal and the barista was so so sweet about it. She was very personable and made our drinks to perfection. So incredibly sweet to see all of the kind and genuine people that Texas has to offer opposed to most Californians. We will definitely come back when we visit!!!

I love the decorations and the coffee but the bathroom feels just to small for me to ever be able to do the things i need in there.

Of course the Foundry is your first stop when visiting downtown! My caramel latte was a treat to the taste buds. Homemade flavors, classic chic decor and their aromatic signature roast coffee make for a pleasant atmosphere. They also have outdoor seating. The first and last coffee shop youll ever need to map out...right off the square!

Amazing coffee, great staff and a great place to study if you are a student or to handle online business. They have recently added more stuff to purchase including growlers for cold brew coffee and many other items. I offer board games to play as well as now sell glass bottle coca-cola though the cokes are bit high in price compared to the grocery store.

I come here sometimes for the wifi and eh coffee. I would love to stay and study here but the chairs are basically all the same and theyre horrible. I really cant even sit there for more than 30 minutes without being uncomfortable and i feel like thats PRETTY important. Id rather sit on the floor honestly.
