The place was a mess and it was being run by a bunch of morons. They where rude, incompetent , and slow. They were out of everything even tho they didn t close for at-least another 3hrs. The girl at the window didn t know basic math I said half a dozen and she looked at me all confused. Then proceeded to ask me if that was 6. They were all so busy packing their to-go plates to take home that they didn t pack my order till after I got out of my car 20min later. On top of that they got the order wrong.

Pulled up at 8:30, ordered a couple of basic chicken sandwiches. Got told they were out for the night. Its 8:30, yall dont even close till 10! Why are yall out for the night already!? Theres no reason for it other than laziness. Ive worked in fast food before, you dont start closing anything down until 30 minutes to closing and thats if you arent busy. Either horrible management or horrible employees. Edit: just looked and Google actually says they close at MIDNIGHT. Absolutely unacceptable.

I hope you re not in a rush when you stop by this location. I waited in the drive-through for 40 minutes to receive my order when I was told it would only take six minutes for chicken tenders. While waiting, for other cars were told to pull up behind me, blocking the entire drive-through. One elderly couple got out of the waiting queue and got back into the drive-through line to find out where the order was. By the time I received my order, the employee had to walk to their car in the drive-through line to hand them their food. Don t waste your time or your money coming by this location, this isn t the first time I ve experienced this type of behavior. Go to the other side of town and maybe you will get better service. Go to a competitor and spend your hard earned money there.

I went here on my lunch break around 230ish sep.13 and ordered a spicy chicken sandwich. They had me pull around the back to wait 5-10 minutes to cook the chicken to only bring me a cold and hard chicken sandwich that looked as if they just threw the sauce on to cover up the FACT that they gave me an old ass chicken breasts... And the pickles were old.. I didnt come back because like I said I was on my lunch break. The people working there surely didnt care because they had an attitude the entire time. This Popeyes needs new employees asap.. The employees they have there now are making a horrible name for the place .. but back to the sandwich. This was the worst sandwich Ive ever eaten from Popeyes. DO BETTER ..

Always good food and at this particular location you will find AWSOME CUSTOMER SERVICE. Everybody there worked together well and when I asked for something sweet to put on my biscuit (something that might irritate some people) Alicia went out of her way to make it happen. Thank yall. The girl couldnt understand us in the driveway so we had to come it. The door was locked so they let us in to order. It was 7:30 pm so Im not sure why you couldnt go inside. Everytime I go to a Tyler TX Popeyes its some kind of BS. I love the food so I keep going. I will not go to the 5th Street location because its the worst fastfood Establishment imaginable. Once I went and they had no chicken they said it was frozen. Still. Every single time I go to the 5th Street Popeyes there is something that I have to deal with. Whether it being rude employees or they only have frozen chicken so you cant get chicken at the restaurant. Having managers that dont need to be managers. Theres always something everytime I go so I just wont go anymore.

I have not been here for 6 months. Because the service was so bad thoght I give it another try. Its gotten worse. They even close the drive through and the entry to popeyes. They had me wait in the back in of the building until my food was ready 40 minutes later. One of the employees came out and said would you rather have a refund sad thing is the said they had a new manager but not Enough employees to make the food owners should think of selling to someone that cares

I would give this place zero stars if it were an option. Placed order, went to window and the lady working said Can I help you?. I told her I just placed an order and she acted oblivious and took my order through the window. Checked it in the parking lot and it was completely wrong. I went inside for them to correct it, she popped an attitude, took the food AND SERVED IT TO THE NEXT CAR IN THE WINDOW! I threw my meal away because God knows how many other vehicles and hands its passed through. Absolutely DISGUSTING!!

I m not sure if they even want to make money. The front doors are always locked. The DT takes 30 minutes to make one sandwich. They asked me to pull up to the window to order and then never took my order. The lights and signs are turned off all the time so that they always look closed. Pretty much a joke of a chicken place.

The reviews below this one are from previous experiences, but this review is from today... I frequent Popeyes and Ive made a few reviews but I had to sit out here in the parking lot and give a review today. Im at the Tyler location and first I want to say that the food is typical Popeyes, its good. This location is usually pretty clean and its always good and theyve always done a pretty good job at customer service but today was probably my best Popeyes experience ever. It was probably my best fast food experience ever. I left out of that store feeling great about life in about Humanity, the whole nine yards. The Kilgore crew, GM Willie Woods, employee Matt Freeman and employee Corey Huff were probably some of the most nice people I have ever met with excellent customer service. Willie Woods was running that place like a true champ. They were busy and he was all over the place. Matt Freeman was the guy ringing me up and he had to be the most polite and humble young man I have ever encountered. His parents should be super proud that they raised an awesome young man. Same goes for Corey Huff, super customer service skills and a great attitude. They were all smiles and doing their job perfectly. If I own a fast food chain or anything for that matter I would definitely want this crew to run my place. Popeyes you made an excellent decision hiring these guys. GREAT JOB!!!!!!! I love their chicken, especially the tenders. They are a bit small sometimes but this post is more about the staff that was there yesterday when i visited. The manager Efrain was really helpful, courteous and professional. The hispanic lady that was working with him was also very helpful and kind. You guys are both excellent at your job. I appreciate you and so should Popeyes!!! ***UPDATE*** I was in this locations drive-thru tonight and like always the food was fresh, hot and staff was super friendly. Pulled into the drive thru line at 9:15 , their headset isn t working okay no big deal my boyfriend pull up to the window ask for the spicy tenders and asked if they could fry them fresh, and she went to go ask the cooks and came back and said they don t have any tenders cooked and the grease is already dumped and asked if I wanted anything else? And I m pretty sure if I did order something else it would ve been something that was sitting under a heating light. Popeyes close at 10 and it s not even 9:30 yet why is the grease already dumped and cars steady pulling up after we left ! This place is absolutely horrible. Who ever the manager is needs they az whooped. 35min wait for a five & 3 orders of chicken strips and wings . And it was only me and another person there. And I got my food first although they got there before me and had already ordered. I could tell they were pissed. The guy who brought me my food had to go back 7x. I kid u not. Was missing my wings, fries (went bk twice for those) , sauce, the drinks. He real life made a trip for each thing. I went to this locate on Tuesday to get the shrimp tackle box and the flounder fish sandwich. Upon arrival there was already one car in the drive thru that was waiting for their food. I placed my order an was asked to pull around. When I pulled around there was some employees talking to the car in front of me. After waiting 5 minutes that asked for my receipt to get my food. I found this odd since the person taking my order should have told them. I waited 35 minutes for my food and the car that ordered after me got there food first. I will not got back.

2nd time trying to get food from here in 2 years. Dont waste your time, the staff is so terrible at their job. Took 25 minutes of my lunch break to get a sandwich and fries. All 4 other people in the lobby were mad at the attitude and slow service. I can overhear one employee giving attitude to a drive-thru customer about the prices being wrong on the sign (cost is higher than advertised). Everyone i know says to avoid this location. The lady with no front teeth came to the window IRATE, hollering about how busy they were( I was the ONLY CAR IN THE DRIVE THRU-PERIOD!!!!!) and told me, that I neeeded to wait due to them being busy, CLOSED THE WINDOW ON ME AND THEN WENT AND STOOD BY A COUNTER FAZING AT ME- Do not waste your time nor money with these ARGUMENTIVE GHETTO PEOPLE AT THIS LOCATION!!!! Store # - 11182 Date - November 29, 2023 Time - 1225 I was very impressed with the young man named Will working the front at this time and day. He was very patient with the older gentleman in front of me and with my grandmother as he explained the nuances of a modern menu that caters to young people. He was also very professional as he and i worked out and miscommunication with my order. Given the choice, this location will be my lunch stop whenever Im in the area.

Went through the drive through. Ordered me a chicken sandwich with no pickles. Simple order right? We ll get to that later. The person taking the order said it will be an 8 minute wait. No big deal, I gotta be at work in about 20 minutes. So I m good right? Wrong I pay, they tell me to pull around the corner to wait while they make the food. I kid you not, I waited 25 almost 30 minutes to get my food. So not only did it take 3x as long as what they told me. I m now also late to my job. Oh and remember the simple no pickle order? Well they can t get that right either. One simple, tiny change in the order and they can t get that right. This location is horrendous. DO NOT COME HERE!!! You will be disappointed at everything.

So, I live a few minutes from this location so we go often. First time wife and I went, terrible service. Next time we went, we go through the drive thru. Lady didnt hear my order correctly and then got mad when I corrected her. Sighed, rolled her eyes then slammed the window in my face. Third time going, wife and I decided to go inside to possibly have a better experience, boy was I wrong. Ordered two spicy chicken sandwiches. Moment I walked in, the place smelled like marijuana. Got to the register to order, smelled like the female just got done smoking a blunt... Moving forward... We were told it would be 10 minute wait, no big deal, we are patient people, lady who told us, sighed and walked off when we agreed to wait, like it was an issue. Wife and I found a table to sit at and waited. 10 minutes had passed. Asked wife to set a timer on her phone, waited 40 minutes.. still no food. Cashier looked at us after taking 5 other orders. I approached the counter and was told I forgot about yall they didnt even cook our food yet. Asked for a refund, was told I would get one. 3 days later still havent gotten a refund... GO GET CHICKEN SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I ordered the SPICY 12PC bundle with mashed potatoes and Cajun fries. I drive home (literally 1 min back home) and the only thing hot in our bag was the mashed potatoes. Chicken was barely warm, and was not the SPICY I ordered. The Cajun fries were cold, no warmth at all. The biscuits felt like were microwaved, hot in the center and hard. Will never go to this location again

*CHECK UR CHANGE* Went thru the drive-thru and paid with $40 cash and recieved back ONLY $10.25 before confronting the BunB old man look-a-like about being short on my change. He repeated back to me the total of my order and the amount I gave him in which I then asked him to make it make sense that I only got $10 back out of that. I then let him know that I seen him put my change in his pocket in which he laughed. He went back to the register and spent over 5min tryin to figure out how to get my money out his pants so it wont look like he is taking money from the register. The bald headed woman who seemed to be the manager was standing by the guy when he pocketed the money but she was in LaLa Land. Not once did she come to the window to see why I was still sitting there so long after paying and getting my order or why he was at that register for so long. My first time going to this Popeyes and most definitely my last! Food aint even worth the stop and the service aint either!

It doesn t matter what the store hours for this location, they ll make up their own, I tried lunch one day and the lobby was closed, now tried to get dinner at 9pm, even though at says they close at 10pm nobody was around to take my order and as I drove through the register was open and empty and the floor looked like they were already cleaning, but no one came to tell me anything even though the drive through screens were still on.

The level of service nowadays is a testament as to how your food is going to be served & taste. Popeyes was underwhelming with their service....understaffed & no sense of urgency. Ordered an overpriced 12 pc family meal that was specific but got the opposite plus we didnt get all that was included in the meal once we got home & realized it was too late. The sides are definitely smaller in size than the last time was visited yet prices have increased. Chicken was extremely dry, like it had been sitting under heat lamps for hours. Completely disappointed & will never visit this particular location again. Parking: Difficult to exit parking lot because there isnt enough room to drive past customers in the drive through. Parking slots are angled so one way in and one way out. No other choice. Not good planning.

Wrost store, we waited in the drive thru..they explained their POS system was down, when drove passed they were laughing pointing fingers and had 2 other guest inside the store. All the employees there seem to just get paid to do nothing, isn t the first time something like this has happened. I don t even know how you are still open & I hope a manager sees this a takes action with their employees but seems like the manager doesn t care anyways if this is how they always act. Also phones cut off so you can t call.
