This place is insanely large. Plenty of parking which is a free for all / unpaved. They have multiple stages inside. There is some food but you re better served eating elsewhere. The bathrooms (male and female) are a trainwreck - priority improvement needed on that end in particular. That all said, they do put on some fun shows. The event calendar has been very light the past year. A little cleanup and expansion of offerings would make this an awesome spot. The room is there and have seen many comments asking for more rock/metal shows - come on Tyler, make it happen. We d make the nearly 3 hour drive to see em!

No diversity in music they keep the biggest dance floor closed down. Paid to much to get in, just to drink one beer and leave. We are down for a good time and this was not it at all!

There are not many places to see good live bands anymore except here. Ive been to this one twice for The Toadies and Candlebox, and here are some things to be aware of... - the bathrooms will be out of TP and paper towels by 8 pm and may or may not get tended to throughout the evening. - the wifi will go out so bars will be cash only and the atm will not work, so bring cash. - the Mexican music on the other side of the club will be so loud that you can hear it over the live bands and no one that works there seems to care even though its disrespectful to these touring bands. - The mixed drinks will be oddly mixed with incorrect ingredients and not be consistent. - the ticket price on their website will be about 15 dollars below the actual price you will be charged. Also they do not give receipts or tickets for shows so IDK how they keep track of who paid to see bands or who is going to the dance side. - parking will be a nightmare as there are no markings and the parking lot is red dirt anyway. Other than these things sometimes good bands will play there and you can be close and up front of the stage easily.

First time here. From pics it looks nice and to extent it is. Friday must be a hit and miss crowd, being at 10 and is so far dead (total of maybe 8/10 ppl). Spacious club with lots room and different kind of music. However the smell of club is unattractive. Certain areas smell like old dead meat, if you start away from those areas I suppose it ain t too bad.

CRC is not well managed. They do not care about locals and the actual owner does not live anywhere near here so complaints are never fixed. I hope this place fixes all its structural and electrical issues and hires a real manager that cares about providing the community a safe, well managed place to watch live music.

This is a large venue with 3 areas playing different music and another area for live performances. They had four dance floors but there were no people in the pseudo-country area. Two of the areas were playing salsa-disco and they had many people there, about 80% were male. They were serving liquor and beer but did not have Lone Star despite being in Texas. There was a good security presence and the staff was courteous. The gravel parking lot had several potholes and some of them were quite large.

Pretty awesome club! Had no clue how big this place is. Its more like 3 clubs in one! We went for a country/rock show and wandered around, and we found 3 more dance floors with different kinds of music! We heard country, rock, EDM, rap/hip/hop, and other kinds of music as we walked between the different rooms/clubs!

Is a great place for live music, spacious enough for alot of people. Sound guys need a little nip and tuck and they got it. My real complaint is the parking. With it being several clubs all in one, the crowds are bound to collid. case in point, me and my friend went and saw clutch last weekend. We where parked along where the bands had thier big rigs to load there gear, we litterly where almost boxed in by most the crowd arriving for the dance club. It turned into a maze just to get out. One way in and one way out. If the parking was situated Id give it 4 and a half.

I live a quarter mile from this place and the vibration from the bass wakes me up at night. Zero consideration for the neighborhood! I called but Calling doesnt work. The music was moderated for about 20 minutes and then it went right back to annoying. You are denying me sleep. I am keeping a record of my complaints and the phone calls. I may need that information later. The worst bunch of people in Smith county.

Long, long lines to get a drink. Ridiculously high drink prices. Having a state of the art sound system means nothing when you have building that doesn t support it acoustically. The place is out on the middle of nowhere and understaffed. I paid $22 for a ticket at the door and never saw more than 2 bartenders. I called the 4 people with me and they never saw more than 2 bartenders . Parking is subpar . The women s bathroom was flooded. Tables in the middle of the dance floor. Overall the place is a dump.

Ive been on a Friday (which was dead) maybe 20 people total. And a Saturday which was super busy, but 2 of the three dance floors was playing Hispanic music , and ONLY Hispanic music )asked dj to play a song and se said NO . only Hispanic music on these floors) So I was directed to the one room for American music which was dead. I guess Im st fauly for thinking the name country river club was a western and country club verses a Hispanic club with a hint of American music club . Plus 6 bucks a beer and 10 bucks a mixed drink(crown and coke) seems a bit overpriced if u ask me. .

First time here. Saw a metal show. Had issues getting sound right at first but gladly figured it out for the headliner. Hope this will be Tylers new destination for all things METAL Dirty floors (sweep your floors) and no paper towels to be had in 2 sets of mens and womens bathrooms. Would like to see a sugar free beverage option for us squares who dont drink alcohol and have to watch the sugar. Small stage and a large floor and even has places to sit. Will be returning for future metal shows.

Not a bad venue has great sound and stage lighting. Beer is kinda costly frendly staff other than the lazy cop CRC has no control over. Had to elbow a dude in the mouth for pushing my wife i will add it was a metal show so that can happen anywhere. Now lets get to parking totally needs asphalt or cement pretty much pasture parking so Bring ya mud boots if it has rained any! And you will get blocked in. This place just needs a few upgrades in parking structure and parking staff.

Would definitely rather go to a concert at Cowboys than go to one here again. The prices for the Koe Wetzel concert is extremely high when you can buy VIP tickets to the Red Dirt festival for less. The presale option on their website is horrible and when you sign up to be a VIP member you dont ever get a promo code to buy tickets early. They are horrible at getting back in touch with you in an timely manner. Definitely not the Best night club in East Texas.
