Went recently for lunch and will definitely be going back. I had the special of the day which was fried shrimp and two sides for a reasonable price. One unique thing about the restaurant is that you can get free pinto or chili beans as well as free scoops of ice cream both included in your meal. The service was fast and friendly so Ill definitely be back.

There were 12 of us. We have been here before but was very disappointed this time. There was a hair cooked into my grandsons food, yes they replaced it but no apology, no offer to discount his food. They were busy on a Saturday afternoon. The hostess finally came to refill drinks. When we asked for a to go drink, the waitress said Ill bring a cup for yours. It was almost gone and watered down. I normally like It here but my experience was that I was pretty excited to see Tuxedo Cats Friday and have some dinner. I arrived a bit before 6 and every single table had sticky notes on it. An hour later a table set up for 10 had 4 people at it and there were still a couple of empty booths. I stood around and had a couple of drinks finally leaving with no dinner. I feel if someone is to reserve a table for the band they should be there by 6 or soon after.

This is the best hidden secret of Tyler, Tx. Yet not a secret to most locals. You can also get free ice cream, and you get to pick which flavor. I love this place, the food is so good, fresh and well seasoned. Chicken Fried steak is the best, I really love the loaded baked potato with chicken. Its my favorite! Well, when we, me and my husband walked in, they were a little slow, getting somebody to the front. But she finally showed up and then sat us down. The waitress was pretty decent, she little forgetful at first, but then I guess she got her head on straight. She did a really good job. The food was awesome and they have a free ice cream bar that neither one of us knew about. And we ended up getting a monster appetizer and it was 3 of everything and then a big bowl of chips and salsa.
