I recently visited Burroughs with my sisters, and it was an awesome experience overall. The park is a gem for nature enthusiasts, offering a mix of scenic trails, beautiful ponds , and plenty of wildlife. We started our day with a hike on one of the many well-maintained trails. The paths wind through lush forests and around serene ponds, providing picturesque views at every turn. If you plan to hike, don t forget your mosquito repellent youll definitely need it. While we explored the trails, my sister enjoyed taking pictures of the diverse bird species that inhabit the park. Its a bird watchers paradise, with plenty of opportunities to spot and photograph different types of birds. Burroughs Park also offers great amenities such as picnic areas, playgrounds, and fishing spots, making it a perfect destination for families. We noticed several groups enjoying their day out, which added to the vibrant, friendly atmosphere of the park. In summary, Burroughs Park is an excellent place to connect with nature, whether youre hiking, birdwatching, or just enjoying a day out with family. Just remember to bring mosquito repellent for a more comfortable visit. Toilets: Clean an convenient Picnic area: Plenty of places to take a break an eat a snack.

It was a very nice park unfortunately I went just after the rain, so some parts of the park were kind of flooded the lake was a little higher than normal which was fine seeing how I went there to go fish but unfortunately I didnt catch any fish. thats probably based on what I was using for bait, but overall, it is a beautiful park, and Im definitely going back to try again. There were a lot of people the day I went to,runners and people with dogs. Looks like they had a nice playground for the kids and a big covered area for picnics. I didnt use the restrooms, so I didnt see them, but overall, a nice park

It is a big beautiful park with many large parking areas. It is easier to get in and out of the park now that they finally opened the new entrance and even put a red light there. The old entrance on dead mans curve with 45 mph traffic was outright dangerous, leaving. The park itself has large walking trails, large gazebos, a creek that runs underneath a nice observation bridge, a large track, baseball fields, soccer fields, and more. It also has a large lake you can fish with a walking dirt track around that. The park itself is great. Some of the maintenance guys can get bored and seem to drive around antagonizing people. Most of them are nice and do a great job. There is more but you will need to go see. It is worth the drive if youve never been there. The park itself is amazing. I think some of the staff could use better supervision though.

Its one of my favorite parks in the area. I love walking around the pond, and theres lots of playground equipment for the kids. Theres a dog park, soccer and baseball fields, trails for walking, grills, a pavilion and plenty of space to spread out for a picnic. Playground: There are multiple playground areas and lots of swings. Toilets: Public restrooms are available. Dog-friendliness: There is a dog park, and the park itself is leashed pet friendly. Picnic area: There are multiple grills and picnic tables throughout the park.
