I had consultation with Susan. I understood there would be no charge for consultation. She just took information, really did nothing and I was charged $150.00. She was supposed to call me, but over a week, and no call.

This entire office is incredible ! Susan work with my Mom with her family Trust until she recently passed away. Because my mom was well taken care of by my my dad Susan had the patience and empathy to work with her. When mom passed our family partnered with Ryan to set up our Will, Trust, Directives and all. My husband and I just got our wills and other legal documents done. We used Ryan at this firm. We each had a will, durable power of attorney, medical power of attorney, advanced directives, and HIPAA forms completed. Ryan was great. He was helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. Everything was done well and in a timely manner. The price was quoted up front and there were no surprise or extra charges. I highly recommend this firm!

RYAN SLEZIA: EXCEPTIONAL ESTATE PLANNING ATTORNEY My wife and I were needing to put together a Will or a Trust to protect our children (both teenagers) should something happen to one or both of us. I called to set up a consultation to discuss as I assumed my first visit would be a free consultation. I was told that if we sit through one of their FREE Estate Planning 101 Seminars (held at their office every other week), then the first consultation afterwards would be free. If not, the first consultation would be charged at $275.00. I was a little put off by this, but there was a seminar happening the following day that my wife and I could both attend and thought what the heck? and attended. Boy am I glad we did. RYAN SLEZIA (handles all of the Estate Planning clients for the firm) gave a FANTASTIC interactive presentation with slides while we sat in the Bulgawicz Conference Room. He explained EVERYTHING in great detail and was very happy to answer any and all questions. There were other people attending and the seminar lasted approximately 2 hours. RYAN explained the differences, advantages, and disadvantages of doing a Trust vs. q Will. (In short: a WILL is cheaper now, but your heirs will be forced to settle your estate in TX by way of the Probate Court System which can take many months at handsome sum. A TRUST costs more now to set up, but the goal of the Trust is to keep EVERYTHING you have out of the hands of the TX court system and your assets are distributed quickly based on your wishes shortly after your death. Once sitting through the seminar, I can see why they strongly recommend attending before coming in to meet with Ryan for a consultation. If not for the seminar, Ryan would have to go through this SAME presentation with you in person (which would be really a very unwise use of time). This is a very smart concept to cover the material in detail with a number of people in a conference room for free. Once you attend the seminar, you set up your first consultation free. We decided to pay more now and have a Trust put together to have our children avoid the hassle, time, and cost of probate after our death. RYAN (and his Administrative Clerk, Juno Haneef) are CLEARLY EXPERTS at this! They have literally thought of everything and THEY TAKE CARE OF ALL PAPERWORK and LOOSE ENDS for YOU! Key Parts of Our Trust / ESTATE Plan going forward: 1. Last Will and Testament (which is a key part of the trust), 2. Statutory Durable Power of Attorney, 3. Medical Power of Attorney, 4. HIPAA (Medical Record) Release and Authorization, 5. Directive to Physicians, 6. Assignment of Current Personal Assets to the Trust, 7. Home and Property Deed Transferred to the Trust, and, 8. Property Tax Exemption Filing is done for you so you keep your current property tax exemption status. Ryan also gave us clear instructions regarding setting up the beneficiaries of your investment, 401K, and retirement accounts. In addition, we were given clear guidance regarding how to set up Pay On Death stipulation at your bank for your checking and savings accounts. No stone left unturned...ALL DONE neatly and clearly, and Ryan is always available to help or ask questions. I will recommend Ryan Slezia, without hesitation to anyone who wants to do a very thorough job of estate planning at a very reasonable price. RYAN (and Juno, and Team ) .BRAVO FOR A JOB WELL DONE! Susan and her staff are such a pleasure to work with! They truly care about their clients and take a personal interest inn making the process as stress free as possible. The loss of a loved one can be a very painful and overwhelming time, the last thing you want to do is deal with protecting their estate. I would much rather have everything in place, with a competent person who can advise me how to protect my assets. Susan is that person.
