This park is located in the Village of Crochrans Crossing near Galatas Elementary School. This park offers a lot as far as parks are concerned. It has 28 x 28 pavilion with electrical outlets. There are restrooms, six picnic tables, two bbq pits, two tennis courts, a multipurpose field, kids playground, basketball court, jogging trail, and 2 fenced-in dog parks.

Jewels loved it! We got there about 9 or 10 in the morning on a weekday and there were quite a few dogs out for her to play with. Dog-friendliness: It is a dog park and all the dogs were super friendly.

This park is really lovely and is pretty spacious. It has tennis courts, a dog park, open field, and a running trail as well. Very nice place to bring your dog too there is water for the dogs to play in along with some other toys and things. People there are really nice to chat with and kids are able to play on a playground. There are two tennis courts there also, one having a backboard. Open field is great for throwing footballs or frisbees and maybe a nice game of soccer too.

The best dog park in the woodlands, and a tier 1 overall park as well. Wile it doesn t have the best playground, soccer field, or tree coverage that you can find at other TW parks, it s extremely well rounded.

We just went to Cattail Park in The Woodlands and never again. As soon as we got there about 5 dogs ganged up on Pearle so she ran away. Our other baby is very attached to her big sister so she went running after her. The other dogs continued to chase Pearle and pinned her to the ground biting her (thankfully no puncture wounds that we could see) and our other baby was pummeled to the ground yelping and ran under a nice gentlemans chair for safety. I was very upset by this

Love how big and spacious it is, there is a great amout of dogs most of the time. I would suggest that your dog has a great recall though becuase there are a few dogs that start fights.

Favorite dog park in the North East area of The Woodlands, close to Magnolia/Tomball. Very clean and well kept. Park has a very large central, fenced area for the large dogs, a small dog fenced area as well, and other amenities. Like, a basketball court, double tennis court, and a football/soccer field. Plus a small childrens playground and a restroom. Very nice to take whole family.

Overall good park with plenty of amenities including restrooms and a dog park. The entry and exit road is oddly narrow. It fits 2 cars with a squeeze. Think driveway width. The play equipment is relatively old and has almost no shade. Id say the lack of shade for the whole of the park keeps it from getting 5 stars.

The Woodlands does a great job of keeping clean and operating. Recently they uprighted a tree and repaired a fence at dog park. If it wasnt The Woodlands they would have chopped it down and planted a sapling. Seemed like a good economic solution to try and save the tree.

I have 4 dogs, so I try and take them here at least once a week. They enjoy it, I love that there s grass rather than wood chips. there s a couple kiddy swim pools, and plenty of benches, and seats. Theres a couple benches under a tree (for the perfect amount of shade). Small hills, and a small breed dog park attached. Sweet and simple dog park for all

Took my dog, Bones, here, and she had a great time! I did see a sign saying no more than 2 dogs per person, and saw a dog owner with several dogs. But its a pretty spacious area for the dogs to run around and cool off in the shade or the kiddie pools. Of course, in the Texas heat, she got tired in no time - but she loved it!! I did see a smaller fenced off area for little dogs, if you are bringing a little pup. You can see it on the opposite side of the entrance.

We love this park! Another reviewer mentioned that there is a splash pad at this park, but as far as I can tell there is no splash pad. The playground is not shaded and the plastic is a dark color, so it becomes very hot on sunny days.

Got there with my dog and was amazed at looking at ~20 dogs. When I attempted to get my dog into the pen, about 10 dogs approached my dog, several very aggressive with growls, and pushing, and knocking my dog down. When I attempted to draw my dog away from all the dogs surrounding her, she ran to the covered shelter and was immediately attacked by another dog as all the owners just sat around in their lawn chairs and did nothing to control their dogs. I leashed my dog and promptly left this dysfunctional dog park. I was amazed how only 1 owner tried to help. Would never recommend this weird dog park. Terrible place!!!!

First I love how large the big dog park is with shade for us to sit down at while our pups play, water bowls & pools for them along with a park for the kids! Last time I came it was busy on a nice day, people were very nice & watching their dogs. We go to the large dog side since birth of mine are over 85lbs. Today while it was very hot my 2 still needed some play time. Coming in my dogs & I were greeted by a barking dog that their owner didnt control so I did. Then the next encounter by the only other person the was a person who is there often as she made it known, allowing her dog to show its teeth & continue growling at my dogs as they passed by. I tried to say something nicely to her but the response I recieved was she just got out of the kennels for 3 weeks ive been gone shes protective of me one of my dogs walked by again and her dog jumped on my dog. I walked my dogs away as to not get in a arguement. PUBLIC SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT.....DONT BRING YOUR DOGS TO A DOG PARK IF YOU KNOW THEY ARE GOING TO TRY TO START A FIGHT, GROWL SHOWING TEETH OR BE PROTECTIVE! PLEASE, Seek training first then come enjoy the fun! Your Endandering not only yourself but us, our dogs and their fun. I also cleaned up 4 bags of other peoples dogs poop. I was walking around and there was so much of it. I was a little dissapointed by my visit today. I dont mind helping, but we all should do our part! Ill go back again to give it another try! Hopefully better results next time!
