We visited this place on our way back to Dallas and ordered both plain and onion dosa. Unfortunately, the onion dosa was disappointing; it tasted as if large, raw onion pieces were just packed into the dosa without any cooking. At one point, I considered asking for the leftover onions to use in my own cooking. I really hope they have a chef who can improve their dishes. My recommendation would be to skip the onion dosa.

The food is absolutely amazing. Fresh, high quality ingredients flavored perfectly with the wonderful spices of India. Everything on the menu is good but my favorite is the Gongara goat Briana which is so incredibly good I have to have it at least once a week! I highly recommend Hyderabad House, you have to try it out! Ask for Neeraj, he is so kind and caring and will make sure you and your family enjoy your meal. I ll see you there!

I had a very disappointing experience with this restaurant recently. When I called to inquire about the freshness of their biryani, I was assured that it was fresh. However, my previous experience with their food was far from satisfactory. I had ordered chicken pulao last time, and despite being told it was fresh, it spoiled by the evening, with both the rice and meat developing a foul smell. When I raised this concern during my recent call, I was told that if food is ordered in the morning and left over for the evening, it won t be good. The response from the staff was quite rude and dismissive. I was even advised to cook at home instead of ordering from their restaurant. This lack of professionalism and poor customer service was frustrating and unhelpful. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant based on my experiences with both their food quality and customer service.

My husband and I recently tried the food here for the first time at an event they catered for one of his coworkers. Everything was delicious and so flavorful! The owners are very kind and even asked for feedback and told us to let them know if there was anything they could do to improve the food, but quite honestly, there was not a single dish I didnt love! We look forward to visiting the restaurant in the future soon!

The reason why I put one star is they are least bothered about what you want even if you are a regular customer. I always order Merupu Kodi to go. Since I order for to go I inform them that I want as more gravy but the master doesn t look at the notes and he always gives it dry and it very difficult to chew and doesn t taste good. If it s happening once in a while I would have accepted but it always happens the same.

I love their authentic food. I remember thinking they were expensive when they opened pre covid. Now their prices seem more super reasonable as everyone around them have raised theirs as well. Its definitely worth it for the quality and freshness. Its a nice simple spot that focuses on quality, and Id recommend it over other Indian options in the nearby shopping center in i45.

NEW REVIEW June 07, 2024 Very disappointed with their goat fried biriyani - only rice and barely any meat!!! Previously I had rated this place 4 stars because of their biriyani in particular. After having disappointing experiences elsewhere I thought that I found a good place to please my appetite and biriyani craving soul. Fast forward, I ordered today goat fried biriyani lunchtime to take out. While serving all I found was 95% rice 2 bones with no meat, few fatty inedible items and just 2 tiny pieces of meat! I was so shocked and thought of literally driving to the restaurant to show them exactly what they served after paying $17/- There used to be a lady who used to manage the counter however she wasn t around. Lesson learned. We will never visit this place again and let all our friends and community not to visit that restaurant whose interests are only to cheat loyal customers. I hope the readers find this post useful snd take precautions before ordering anything from that restaurant. I wanted to give a zero rating however due to my prior experience, I will give them 1 star rating. PRIOR REVIEW: After having very disappointing biriyani experience at Biriyani pot, I tried Hyderabad house specifically for goat biriyani (fried or dhum) and their chicken tikka masala with Naan. All 3 items were good in my opinion. I definitely do not miss biriyani pot which is literally serving trash Thank you Hyderabad house at the woodlands area and please DO NOT disappoint me and your loyal customers. Do serve biriyani with fair amount of meat along with proportionate rice. Please enhance customers delights with egg on top of the biriyani you used to serve in the past. I haven t seen egg anymore. Is it cost cutting? That s why rate you 4 stars instead of 5.

Hyderabad House has significantly deteriorated in terms of food and service quality. Living in the area, this was a fun place, but sadly, not any more. - overall, dine-in quality is very poor at the moment; several menu items are NEVER available - dosa (of any kind) takes a LONG time, which is unheard of for any Indian / South Indian joint. - the dosa chutneys (coconut etc.) are NOT fresh - chicken dishes are packed with chopped onions, with little to NO flavor - goat meat quality is poor, mostly bones - biryanis are loaded with rice, have to struggle to find the meat!!! Feels like the owners interest is somewhere else. I have stopped going there. Waste of money!!!!

I believe I just ordered wrong thing. This place probably is best for Biryani, Chicken and Goat dishes and maybe vegetable curries. I ordered Dosa, it was given in two broken pieces, the chutney was old (refrigerated, could feel pulupu (tanginess)). It wasn t good at all. The service was great, host was great, and I saw others enjoying their food (biryani s). So I believe my choice wasn t good. My suggestion to owner is not to degrade overall quality by putting items on menu that you cannot deliver at high quality. Just remove the Dosa from your menu. It doesn t help you. During a recent visit with friends, we ordered Biryani and some breads from this restaurant. While the food was alright, its important to note that despite their claim of serving Hyderabad Biryani, it was not authentic. Instead, they simply mixed Basmati rice with Chicken/Mutton/Paneer curry. We specifically ordered Chicken Biryani, but were disappointed to find just three small pieces of chicken amidst a large portion of rice, leaving us essentially eating plain Basmati rice. While this aspect was disappointing, what further soured our experience was the rude attitude of the lady at the counter. Despite providing feedback, she adamantly refused to accept it and even argued with us. We believe that when customers offer feedback, it should be listened to first, with the option to accept or deny it. Unfortunately, the lady did not adhere to this principle and instead began to argue back. Additionally, we found it misleading that they use the term DUM in their biryanis, as there was no indication of the traditional cooking method being used. In conclusion, I would advise others to carefully consider their choice before dining here.

I am a little upset because I was very hungry and I decided to order vegetable samosas, and I got two pieces and I paid seven dollars What I hate about this order is The pricing and the product itself, how are you going to call yourself Hyderabad House and serve Punjabi samosas (The ones with the peas in them), and then charge me seven dollars for it just because you added some cabbage leaves as razzle dazzle, and served it in a Aluminum foil Box. I just find it unfair For you to charge that much for two pieces of samosas That are not homemade, and you can find the Same samosas for a box of 12 for the same price at a grocery store. The picture showed on Google was very misleading. I will still rate it four. Stars because the person was nice even though he misheard my order, I ordered two orders of it, and he only gave me one and charged me for one just because I didn t have time which in hindsight is a good thing to do because I was very disappointed with the product itself. Pros: meat was very fresh and tender, meat was bone-in which is always a plus. It was also actually pretty spicy. Cons: didnt taste anything like vindaloo. Had absolutely no potatoes. Taste like goat cooked in tomato sauce or salsa with added spice. I didnt taste any of the traditional seasonings, cardamom, coriander, ginger, garlic, tumeric, etc. No way does this pass as any type of curry. Dont think I could realistically give this another try after ordering two goat vindaloos, and spending $30+ for goat cooked in what seems to taste like picante salsa.

Totally Authentic!! Service was great. Waiter bro Neeraj checked on the order couple items and was receptive/attentive to our request. We almost ordered 8-9 items, they were all fresh and tasty. I am regular customer here . I have tasted their all Biriyani and they are not upto the mark . But from last month oct 2023 they changed Vijayawada Biriyani recipe . It was very good and it was smooth to eat earlier very hard to eat and more over no other good options near spring tx . So have to go to only Hyderabad house . But now they changed recipe of vija wada biryani that made me to go multiple times for the quality and taste and smoothness . Keep the same recipe and continue it for ever you can rule spring tx .

This restaurant has consistently been my top choice for South Asian cuisine. Although Ive previously only experienced it through Uber Eats delivery, Ive always relished the flavors and longed to dine in person. Having finally visited, I must say the experience was outstanding. The food exudes authenticity, boasting a delightful array of flavors that truly distinguish each dish. In my humble opinion, this establishment ranks among the finest in the vicinity. The service was impeccable, with prompt delivery of delectable dishes, beautifully presented. But I find the food as a touch more salt then needed. If I had to find a minor fault, it would be that its not the most budget-friendly option. Having to always pay extra for rice or Naan is asking a bit.

Vegetarian options were BAD. Dal tadka was tasteless, babycorn chilli was very sour. Garlic naan and mango lassi were ok. We reached restaurant at 9. Other patrons left by 9.15. The restaurant switched off the AC after that. Very bad service

Wonderful food and staff. We will definitely be coming back to try other dishes. This was my first time eating Indian food at a restaurant (made a couple of dishes at home). We had the butter chicken with garlic naan, chicken tikka masala with rice, and the mirapa kodi as an appetizer. All of it was so freakin delicious. I went in today for lunch with a friend and we both had the worst experience we have ever had here. We were sitting for 15+ minutes before our order was taken and there was no one else in the restaurant other then us. after we ordered a big party came thru and the ladies attention was only on them. The lady got our chicken 65 order wrong and gave us chicken 555 which was uncooked. when we sent it back she caught an attitude with us. my friend saw her roll her eyes at me when i asked for another coke. I use to love this place but it seems the quality of the food and management has gone down. Never will i recommend this place again.u

I do not like to leave negative reviews, but sometimes it is necessary to communicate an issue that could have been handled differently so they do not upset another customer in the future. Ordered pickup through DoorDash, was excited to try a new Indian place near my new office. Got a call from the restaurant saying they did not have the main entree in my order (vegetable biryani) and their was a language barrier so I guess there was a miscommunication in the end, but it seemed as if they would be replacing it with another vegetarian biryani and I said that is fine. The guy said ok and hung up a little fast. A couple minutes later I get a notification that my order has been canceled. Unfortunately that was not communicated with me in the call and I was not expecting it. This should have been told to me while I was on the phone with them and it would have been understood and I could of ordered something else, but they didnt give me that opportunity or option. I love Indian food, but unfortunately the customer service left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be a returning customer and would not recommend.

The owners could use a little smile on their face and be friendlier with their patrons. Will always love this homey humble eatery. Update: this used to be an amazing place but had a horrible experience recently. Was assisted by a very rude lady (assuming owner). She was too good/busy for customers and the kitchen was closed except for selling biryani. We ordered biryani which was really rice with stale curry on top and just few pieces of paneer. The prices on the menu were outdated and only a small note near the counter said there was a generic price update but didnt say how much until you get the payment bill. The lady got agitated when we asked her about it. Poor customer servive and food quality now. Old review: Great experience and awesome food with nice ambiance and very friendly customer service. Overall a must visit Indian restaurant!
