The pasta was very good but unfortunately it was supposed to be with wild mushrooms I got normal mushrooms and it was disappointing. They explained to me that it is because of the missing delivery this week. Hopefully you are going to be more lucky than me! It was Chicken Marsala pasta.

I recently ordered spaghetti and meatballs through a delivery app and everything about the dish was excellent. Well-seasoned meatballs, savory sauce and tender hand-made noodles made it a deeply satisfying dinner. They have a good wine selection and the atmosphere inside is comfortable and modern. I m very happy with this place.

Ive had the carbonara in person at their establishment and it was amazing. I absolutely loved it, which is why I wanted to order it again. When I ordered it online for delivery it was NOT the carbonara how they made it before. KEEP IN MIND IT IS $24 WITHOUT a protien(besides 1 poached egg) ON UBER EATS. With chicken it is $8 EXTRA, per serving not including all of the other delivery fees. They just lazily mixed fettuccine sauce on my order with some/little bacon strips and a overcooked egg and called it a carbonara. It had WHITE CREAM. This isnt a carbonara. Carbonara doesnt have cream at all. I would suggest to go there in person to have a good experience but never order from them online. They want to overprice their items online and their performance on that is mediocre at best. EVEN IF I ORDERED FETTUCCINE it was one of the most bland I ever had. I had to ADD spices at home to finish it. ALSO this order was about $60(WITHOUT ANY ADD ONS) and I did not get any cutlery or napkins in the bag, which is pretty dissapointing when you spend so much.

I am not exaggerating when I say this is the best pasta I have ever eaten in my life. Eric was our server and he was incredible. I ordered the fettuccine carbonara and I felt like i was having a religious experience with every bite. My husband & i traveled here from Houston for our anniversary and we will definitely be coming back here next time we re in town. 10/10 recommend

Excellent food quality and taste. Excellent service, attentive and helpful without hovering. Space is a little tight, a little noisy and tonight was a little warm. Mussels and caprese salad are among the best. Absolutely loved the heirloom tomatoes. Fig pizza was delicious. It s a return often restaurant. We were seated quickly without a reservation, probably because we arrived early Friday night.

Had another enjoyable brunch on Sunday. Tried some different dishes this time. A breakfast croissant for me and a more traditional combination of eggs and bacon for my girlfriend. First time here last night and I have to say the food was very good. The charcuterie board paired well with our wine. Both plates were delicious. The service was good and very friendly. I will say that I looked at the overall stars and didn t read any reviews before we came. When we arrived we noticed that this is more of a small casual place but the pictures online can be deceiving making it look larger and more fancy if you will. Very good but limited menu and wine selection. Not really what we were expecting but still a good dinner.

We arrived this evening 45 minutes before closing. We were the only people here so we offered to go elsewhere. We were graciously welcomed in and shown the absolute best service. I have been going to Cedro ever since they opened. I know the food will always be good. I prefer going when it is not crowded as the noise level can be very distracting. During this particular visit my friend and I were treated to the most outstanding service. The young man that took care of us, was the only server at that time. And when we told him we were very hungry he did his best to get the food out quickly! There was another gentleman who wasnt waiting on but checking on each table. He had a beautiful Italian accent. Definitely added to our experience. Between the two of them we felt taken care of. Perhaps a bit too taken care of. While we appreciated being checked on, we had trouble getting through our conversations. I cannot complete the service review without mentioning one more thing. Our server would actually come by to wipe away the little puddles that formed underneath our glasses! Yes! He lifted the glasses and wiped the water away. I confessed that no one had ever done that before. That was an above and beyond effort if ever I saw one. As for the food, we both chose the Vegetable Conchiglie which, I believe used to be called Vegetable Orecchiette. I have had that many times and it is always good. Always. We ordered the yummy focaccia bread and used it to soak up the wonderful ragu sauce. What prompted us to go there was the coupon Cedro sent me via text. Very smart. They are not inexpensive. The coupon was a nice bonus.

Let me start by saying the service was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately the pictures do not match the inside so was taken aback when we arrived. It was much more casual than expected. We ordered the happy hour apps and they were ok. Same with the roasted half chicken, I wish they had just seared the skin to make it crispy and dish would be much more appealing. I was born and raised in an Italian family...so, OK, I have my biases. Cedro boasts to be a scratch Italian eating establishment. I have to disagree. No Italian meal starts without some form of bread on the table. You have to order it here. When it arrives, it aint Italian bread. Its some sort of light weight toasted white bread dress up in cheese and toasted. WHAT? That food...I ordered the Bolognese Pasta Dish. OK, the pasta...they didnt put enough salt in the pasta water at the beginning of the process to begin with. So, it was kinda flavorless in my opinion, then add to that, it wasnt exactly al dente....it was sort of undercooked on the inside and overly mushy on the outside. My guess is they crowded the water pot. Grandma would have slapped her forehead and rolled her eyes. Moddonna!! The Bolognese....textually, I would describe less as a meat sauce and more as a soupy mixture of ingredients. Im assuming there was some meat it there. What was in there I would describe as sparse. Overall, the dish had way too much sauce vs. pasta. Flavorless soupy meat sauce poured over but not clinging to badly cooked pasta. $23 plus $6 for the bread....wow! Forget a side salad, wouldve been another$7. No thanks. Ill give the place decent stars on atmosphere. It was busy and lively. Thats what one would expect in this type of genre. Overall, pricey not so good food in a busy rub elbows lively place. If youre looking for that atmosphere, I recommend to go there. If youre looking for good Italian fare..well, not so much.

1st time trying this place. Great little gem close to Lakeline mall. Very clean and staff was attentive. Stopped in for HH. Great eat variety and beer and wine. The risotta balls were amazing and the pesto chicken flatbread (pizza) was off the chart. Really great choices for great HH prices. Tyler Manager was so kind and checked on us constantly to see if we needed anything great customer service. He chatted with us for a bit. Just a really nice guy. Jason our server said he was new but was on point. Excellent server. Natasha bartender so kind and very friendly. The tarimsu is a must try dessert. My parents frequent Cedro since its opening and rave about it as their local Italian restaurant, so I made a reservation for my daughters graduation. The host was very nice to accommodate us and we were looking forward to a great dinner. The restaurant is small and can get hot quickly. My mother has a medical condition, and is recovering from surgery, so I asked the staff for a fan to make sure that her vertigo was ok. The waitress understood and asked. Everything was copacetic until one particular wait staff made a point to make it seem that we were being unreasonable. His tone was ungracious and he and I went back and forth in front of my family, at a time of our celebration. I explained that sarcasm is used for people youre familiar with. He insisted that he wasnt being sarcastic, so I asked him what he was being. He didnt have an answer for that. Im watching my mother sweat and grow faint, and I knew if I asked this man to open the door for our sake he would have refused, so I asked him if it is against code to prop the patio door open for a breeze. He couldnt deny that and we finally had comfort. This man was terse and we had to ask for the basics--water with ice and straws, plates for our appetizers, the balsamic and oil for our bread--the standard service. Were reasonable people, but it was clear that he was not happy with my calling out his terseness, our requests, and quite frankly, our very presence. Over time we shared with the wait staff that were familiar with Cedro since their opening, and ordered an overpriced bottle of wine. A bottle of Mionetto Prosecco is $40 at Cedro. It sells for $12 across the parking lot at HEB. I ordered a bottle of the Viberti La Gemella ($50+ at Cedro, $14 at HEB). The industry standard is 200-300% retail markup. Rare and speciality wines can be priced as high as 400%. Cedro s charges rare wine pricing for bottom grade selections you find at the grocery store. The wine bar had no wine pairings with the meal; no sommelier. My point is that he served us snobbery without the class. Despite, and perhaps in spite of it all, my family and I had a great time celebrating my daughter. We ate and laughed and ignored his appalling disdain. The waitresses were apologetic. No need for them to apologize--they were kind. As the dinner progressed something changed in this man to coddle my mother and my disabled brother. He insisted my daughter and brother have desserts. Free! He made a point to tell us. We dont need free. We were happy to spend $400-500, plus tip--but we decided we would not invest that money in Cedro, so we kept it conservative to around $250-300. Im not sure of the exact amount because my father paid for the meal with his Platinum AMEX. The waitress took our family picture and it started raining when we left. The man followed us out--I dont know why--and we waited for my dad to bring the car around. Were trying to stay pleasant with this rude guy and I mentioned how we like cars and how my father would pull up in his new BMW so my disabled brother and mother wouldnt walk far. Oh, a standard X5? He was determined to keep us humbled. Its an X7 that was imported last year and car enthusiasts have asked my father to participate in local car shows. My mother and I just looked at each other. I mentioned how I didnt want my mom to get wet. He asked if we wanted an umbrella. My mother refused, and I know its because she didnt want to be around this man anymore, but I insisted because she needs help. And thats how our dinner ended. Oh, and did I mention that we are C-suite Black professionals? That detail is not lost on me. My parents love for authentic Italian food came from their many travels and they wanted to experience it at Cedros. I think instead well go back to Juliet, or Vespaio--restaurants that are pricer, but have well garnered their prestige. Last point--the restrooms are nasty, stinky, and smelly. Where s the dignity in that?

Pass by Cedro s every month to cut my hair but never tried it until last night. Wife s birthday and she wanted to have Italian so gave it a shot. She loves carbonara and when we learned we could add grilled chicken she happy. They also made it well done to her liking. That, chicken Marsala and classic pepperoni pizza were all great. Hesitant daughter wouldn t like pizza but great they have a classic pizza option. Service was attentive and we loved the smaller/cozier ambiance. Chocolate mousse and tiramisu were also great. We will be definitely coming back again. We also caught the last movie at Alamo Drafthouse which was convenient and a perfect way to end the night.

I was really looking forward to going to Cedro. This restaurant is not cheap and they claim that they do everything from scratch so I was expecting the food to be delicious. The pizza I ordered tasted like the lean cuisine frozen pizza. I told one of the employees to please take the pizza because I didn t like it and the table we were sitting at was small. He asked me if I wanted to speak to the manager and I said no. However the manager came out and I explained to him the pizza tasted bad. He apologized and said he would make this right for me and for me to pick another item from the menu. I told him that was not necessary but he was insisting and insisting. So I ordered the seafood risotto and it was alright. I was disappointed when they charged me the full price of the seafood risotto which was $28 when the pizza, I originally ordered was $17. Keep in mind, the least expensive thing on the menu was the pizza.I don t understand how that is making it right for the customer!? I didn t want to order another dish in the first place. I was just giving them honest feedback. I am not saying I wanted a free meal but they should have just charged me the price of the pizza since that s the dish I wanted and it tasted bad and the manager insisted on me ordering another dish, even though I didn t want too! I would not recommend this place because the food does not taste good and it s pricey. However, my waiters were great, so no complaints there!! Reply to management: It s ok, that s your view of making it right for the customer and that s fine, it s your business. Just please next time don t insist for someone to order something else if they tell you No. Just be respectful and take the No. Also I didn t enjoy the risotto as you mentioned. I had a few bites and took most of it in a to go box because I wanted to be polite. When I like food, I finish it, so please don t write as if I ate the whole dish because that s not true.

We have been to Cedro several times and this past Sunday was my bday. I had an issue with my reservation but they got everything worked out and again we had an awesome experience. If you have never been and is wondering about the place just go and I m sure you will love it! Kid-friendliness: They have the best patio for kids. No playground but we always take a soccer ball and the kids always have fun. The patio faces the parking lot but it s fenced which makes it safe!

This was our 2nd time here. I think I loved it even more than the 1st time. Plus our waiter was great and he had locs like me. I went to Cedro when they first opened and I lived in cedar Park. I had not been back since and Im seriously questioning why now! I go out to dinner a lot and wanted to try something different. Cedro did not disappoint. I ordered a glass of wine and soup to start at the bar. The wine was amazing and the soup was incredibly delicious. When it was time to order an entree, the bartender made a few yummy sounding suggestions and I decided on the salmon salad. Oh my goodness, it was so incredibly delicious! The freshness of the ingredients were amazing, the salmon was cooked perfectly! The whole balance of flavors in the salad was perfection. The manager checked in on me a couple of times even though it was busy which was a really nice touch. This will definitely be a place that I will frequent and recommend! I cant wait to come back and try some more of the menu items.

I had to plan a lunch for a large group and Cedro s was amazing! James put together a pre-set menu for me, and Breanna our server was excellent. Our group of 21 received excellent service and a warm welcoming. We had the Burrata appetizer, which was delicious. And my meal was the steak sandwich, which was great - amazing bread and nice quality steak. I really enjoyed our meal.

The food here was great. We were a large party and ordered half the menu. The mussels, branzino, salmon, and the scallop special were all delicious. But more importantly, the service was incredible. Kate took care of our 15 person party the entire time and all of the staff was so kind to everyone, especially to our 3 small children in our group. Our entire group was very happy with our dining experience :) Kid-friendliness: We had a baby with us and he was sick, but the staff didn t even bat an eye, just rushed to help us clean up and assist us in any way. They made us all feel very welcome

We really enjoyed our Valentine s Day dinner here with delicious food and five-star service. We ordered mussels, garlic bread, steak and lobster pasta. Everything was cooked perfectly. Tiramisu and crème bule as desserts, which are one of the best we have ever had. The food came out pretty quickly. All the staff and very nice and friendly. The restaurant itself was a lot smaller than I anticipated so I was glad that I made a reservation. It took a little bit to be seated but once we were our food came out quickly. We ordered the full gauntlet of drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts. The highlights were the calamari, chicken Marsala, carbonara and mussels. For dessert we got the mousse, crème brûlée, fig cheesecake and tiramisu. The mousse was a bit soft but the most delicious and the crème brûlée was a bit soft but the sugar top was perfect. The other two were fine and would order them again. Our server was very nice and understood our needs though she was quite busy. This was a big bill but it was well worth it and we will be back. Parking: Plenty of parking in a part of the complex that isn t terribly busy in the evening. Kid-friendliness: This isn t terribly kid friendly and I m glad that it s not. It s a nice intimate spot and it can get pretty loud inside so having kids there would be tough.

Alicia (I am sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was our server. She was so incredibly sweet, friendly, and had amazing recommendations for us. She knows how to tell a great food story and to push the products she believes in. The beet salad she described was exactly what was served by the amazing Chefs. This was our first visit to Cedro and it met all the expectations we thought it would! The food was amazing. We got a smoked bacon pizza and the Italian sausage papadelle pasta as well as grilled focaccia. The service was fast and we waited no longer than 5 minutes for a table when we were told 30 minutes so that was GREAT! We will definitely be returning for more good eats!

The food was very good. I had the bolognese, and it was tasty and a good size portion. My friend (who is from Boston, and knows good East-coast Italian food), had the spaghetti pork Milanese, which he also said was very good. The small Caesar was also good, but served in an awkward sized bowl, which was not conducive to salad. Also had a very nice glass of Nebbiolo that I enjoyed. Overall, very good experience and will recommend to others. Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options.

A hidden gem in a strip mall by Lakeline Mall. Everything was superior. The best Italian food ever. Everything is made in house. My wife found this place as it was near an event we were attending and I am very glad she did! The service was top notch. When we mentioned that we were going to a show and in a bit of a hurry, our waiter said not to worry and the food was essentially there before he finished the sentence. We were initially hesitant with just HOW FAST the food came out but everything we ordered was delicious and fresh! I had the bolognese and my wife had the lobster carbonara, would highly recommend either dish. We had a great visit, short as it was and will definitely be returning! This was our first visit. First for the good ... the food was terrific. Had the lamb shanks and my wife had the Bolognase ..both were interesting and delicious. Now the not so good ... I found the young man that was the host to be off-putting. He was brusque to us when we arrived (wrote that off to them being busy with a party of at least twelve just inside the door). Service was fine, food was great, and when we were done, as he passed by, I asked him if I could have a 5 and 5 ones for a ten so I could pay cash with appropriate tip. He looked me directly in the eye, said Absolutely positively not, turned around and walked away. A more polite refusal would have been acceptable, and I would have paid with card .. as is was I still paid cash, and was a few dollars light of what I intended due to no change ... the food is not worthy of the attitude and somewhat sterile environment.

The manager or whichever man was at the front door 12/16, should not be in the hospitality business. I gave 5 stars because this is a lovely restaurant as is the owner. I had never had a bad experience except for tonight. I walked in to and walked to the back as I always do to get to go orders, this man stepped in front of me like a line backer and very rudely asked what I needed. I told him I was picking up and he told me the wait time then just turned his back on me and continued talking to a woman he that was up there as well. Not a single smile nor did I feel welcome. He was completely dismissive of me and had an all around aire that I was somehow beneath hi. He actually acted annoyed by my presence. I understand I was not a customer this night and just picking up for Uber, but I have been a customer plenty of other times, and you dont treat people that way, not even if they are just Uber drivers. I know the owner is a great man and I have never in all of these years had one person be less than welcoming and gracious to me. I dont feel it behooves you to have this man on staff. You could truly do so much better. If I was a fist time patreon, I would not return based on this interaction.
