We only played in the under 2 section. It was kept very clean (all things considered) and the play and climb toys were awesome. Keep in mind that everyone is wearing shoes in there, so if your baby is a crawler it might not be ideal. Also, older kids definitely come in and out if they have little siblings in there, but majority of the moms were great about telling them they had to get out of the baby section. Still, be cautious of bigger kids because they aren t going to understand a baby not sharing or might accidentally step on a crawling or just smaller baby.

First and last time I will go here. Brought my 2.5 yr old for some indoor fun and was surprised how small and dirty this place is for what they charge in admission. I had to keep wiping my sons hands because play food and objects were visibly dirty. Calling it a museum is also misleading, not much educational value like the Childrens Mueseum downtown. Also, the worst case of older kids running over little kids Ive ever encountered. Parents on their phones not paying attention, allowing older kids to dominate play areas meant for little ones. Very frustrating that the workers do not enforce any kind of safe play rules or stop inappropriate behaviors. Avoid this place if you value quality, cleanliness, and respect.

More of a gym than a museum, but my 2 year old had a great time. Plenty of things to do and wasnt overly crowded when we went. There isnt much to do for smaller kids, mostly because the older kids dominate the toys, but there is a dedicated space for 2 and under.

Dig pit had many sharp pieces. Not really that much to do. The less than 24 months area only had a few books, 10 foam blocks, a wavy platform for walking practice and a wooden platform with a ramp. Nothing to really keep small childrens attention. The older kids had more options available, a water table with magnetic fish, large blue foam blocks, a large light rite, magnetic gear and a light change table, and the interactive stage area. Probably tons of fun once if you take a few kids, I dont think it would keep a single childs attention for very long. My child enjoyed the fish tank the most out of all the toys and play areas.

Visited for the first time today and it was okay for the admission price. The 2 older ladies in the front werent very friendly. But at least the two teen employees walking around, and the craft station lady, were pleasant. Its a good small place to take your toddler for an hour or two, but definitely nothing compared to the Childrens Museum in Houston.

Great but so sad that in the USA as opposed to Europe, people think only kids want to do fun things like this. Adults in the USA stop exploring such things due to the notion they must grow up and not be interested in the types of museum things there are to do here. In Europe, such places are made for both adults and kids. There are fun things to do for adults all over in Europe and adults are culturallly allowed to have fun too.

Its definitely not like the museum in downtown, which I think is great. This one was okay. It was very expensive. It was about $ 29. But it was air conditioned and a good place to go with a toddler when you cant play outside. It was really busy. We had kind of a bad experience because there was a big kid there that took a knife and put it up to my throat and said to give me all this money or he was going to slit my throat. He was playing around, but it was dangerous. And I thought it was a really weird thing for a young kid to say and do. My son was with me and he is a police officer and he shut the kid down pretty quick. He was only about 8 years old but really big for his age. His parents were nowhere to be found. That was not the fault of the museum so Im not rating the museum on that. The kid left shortly after that so we didnt report him or anything. My toddler grandson really enjoyed the fishing area, the trains, and driving the truck. I was surprised at the amount of kids that were there that were not supervised by their parents at all. They tried to take things from my grandson by grabbing them instead of waiting to take their turn or asking politely. No parents intervened, except for me. Most of the parents let their kids run free while they were on their phones.

I can take my niece there, but her diaper bag down and allow her to explore. They even had different summer activities creating things with computers in film technology that my older eight year old nieces would be interested in. The staff does a good job of keeping everything neat, organized and making sure people abide by the rules. The price isn t bad either especially if you purchase a membership.

Although my kids had fun this place may need to implement a more frequent and rigorous cleaning schedule. We stayed for a little over an hour. A few days later my kids were running fever and broke out in blisters. We were told by their doctor they came in contact with hand, foot, and mouth disease. My kiddos dont go to daycare and havent been anywhere else so we know this place was the host. Sadly we wont return, just took risky.

The place is definitely a fun, little, inviting experience for a kid. My child had a blast (2 years old) and definitely had a lot of fun running around and doing different things. Even as they get older, it becomes even more suiting for those understanding the ways to play and letting their imagination run wild. We were happy with our visit and would love to return again. Would suggest grabbing lunch also during your visit to the area in many of the surrounding places to grab food at, as there isnt a TON to do here, its not a giant place, but with that.... its still perfect to appropriately cater to your child and feel safe letting them have a little freedom.

This is a great museum for kids 1-7. I had a chance to visit with a three year old and all of the activities were at a level that was accessible to children. Some of the activity options included a market to shop, a house to cook and clean (practice life skills), a digging/construction station (the dirt was made from recycled tires). Children could dress up as firefighters, as well as other characters. There were also Lego, fishing and building stations. Admissions are in two hour time slots. I think that two hours is just the right amount of time for little ones to explore. On the day of my visit, there was a special guest who performed a magic show for 30 minutes.

We loved this place. My 13 month old son had fun, and not just in the 0-2 years area. Theres so much to do, you can easily spend the whole day there. There was even a puppet show. I would suggest adding a family bathroom. Our son needs both of us to change him since he is super wiggly and those changing tables are not safe for a wiggling toddler. One of us had to be in the wrong gender bathroom in order to be able to do this. Luckily it was not busy and there were no issues. I would also suggest maybe not letting sick kids in. We saw a little girl with snot all over her face. We stayed away from her, but sometimes that is not enough. We would come back next time were in town.

We ve been to the Children s Museum several times over the last year and my son loves it every time we come! We do have a little bit of a drive but it s absolutely worth it as he has so much fun. There s everything from a pretend fire truck to constantly changing themes and activities to match.

This is a good spot if youre in the area and you need an activity for your little ones. Theres a lot of activities here that you can have the kids do however just be warned that the entrance and exit is not gated so youll have to watch the kids closely. Other than that my kids love the marketplace and the house the most.

Our kids love this place and Ive only been a few times, but every time I come, I want to get a membership and I decided that I am finally going to take that plunge next time I go. Weve seen the magician show, who is absolutely fantastic, and theres lots to do for the little ones. It is on the smaller side but its enough for an afternoon and not get over tired. I would like to see that they had more water activities and experience because it does get quite crowded, but for the time being, I love visiting and not having to drive all the way down to Houston.

This was a great time for the little one. He was over stimulated with how many people were there but he had a blast. He loves books so having books in 2 different places was so great

Would never take my children here due to the overt racism allowed here. This museum is using slavery as a fun kids activity and its quite sickening.

Awesome place to take your little. However, their hours are atrocious. Closed Sunday and Monday, and new fall hours just kicked in so Tues-Thurs they close at 2pm. Only open 4 hours guys? I wish they would have told us the new fall hours before we spent over $100 on a membership. Friday s and Saturday they close at 4pm but unfortunately for us those days we work.

This is a small cute fun place for little kids( between 1 to 5?). I think one hour would be enough for you to play with everything. But of course, you might spend 3 hours if your kids are very particular with each theme and found good play buddies. This was not a big place, but I did like how my kid interacted with other kids.

What a nice small interactive museum for the kids. There is very simple and small parts of history throughout the place. Each section has small areas where kids can interact with toys that relate to the areas history. There is a small fishing sink and they even had mask building for the kids set up in the back rooms.

We came here to avoid the crowd and lines at the Houston childrens museum and now regret it. Place isnt worth it if youre child is over the age of 2 or not walking yet, so Id say best for walkers-2 yrs old. Mediocre at best. Activities and stations are just meh. Nothing exciting and pretty small. We spent maybe 1.25hrs through the whole thing. We came to do an outing for my daughters 3rd birthday. Will have to think of something else fun and indoor to make up for it.

Well put together place. Clearly popular. Brought my family here for my nieces birthday party. My youngest is 5 months and nursing, so I asked for their nursing room (like the ones I have found in other childrens museums). They do not have a dedicated mothers / nursing room, but they were kind enough to let me use their unoccupied workshop space as a nursing spot and close the door for privacy.

I can t believe this place is even open. There was an area where they called an ACTIVITY that had kids picking cotton!!!! Reading some of the articles in that area were even worse they had the nerve to say that one of the slaves had FUN while picking cotton!!! If I could give a negative 5 stars I would! Me and my family will never return here and that needs to be torn down!!!

We came on a Saturday when they were celebrating the museum s anniversary so it was really busy, but we enjoyed our first visit as a family. There are a lot of stations for the children. It is geared more towards younger children <5 or so. Price is currently $7.95 ages 1+. We will return. (07/09/22)

Brought our four children here. Today was the 12th birthday of the Childrens Museum so they had extra activities like face painting, cupcake making etc. Was really busy but still had enough room for everyone to have fun and parents to sit. The kids had lots of fun!
