This cafe just needs to tighten up just a tad because my meal literally could have been 5 stars super flavorful, freshly cooked, and looked inviting. The hiccup was the staff when I walked in, not a courteous greeting, just the looks of why are you here. Online order pick up, of course. Why miss a few stars or lack on the treatment of the customer when we pay to experience the expectation thats laid out on display. I saw, I tried and I did enjoy the food but again tighten the crew up simple.....

Not a bad place but the cashier person Emily was just terrible. Offered Mango as a fruit option to my girls 6 and 10 then charged me extra for it, then showed up with Cantaloupe. No more mango. My girls hate cantaloupe. I mentioned it to the manager, nothing happened. Didn t feel right.

This Cafe Express now faithfully reproduces the (incredibly good) chicken deli salad that my late wife and I enjoyed for years at the Market Street location, and the Memorial City Mall location before that. Way back! Ample portions, the right variety of ingredients, delicious grilled chicken, their fresh add-ons and bread sticks. Yay! Oh, and Tyler was a great help when I thought I might have left my phone there and called from the house. Above and beyond customer service, thanks, Tyler! Parking: Lots of parking, so you will not lose your car in the crowd, lol. Kid-friendliness: I have never seen them be anything but pleasant to a kid. Kind, even.

Food is usually good (not this time) and, so is atmosphere, but Tyler was extremely rude. He made us feel like a burden for being customers. We were asking questions about the menu and he would just shake his head and act annoyed. This makes me not want to come back. Also all of our food was cold. It was flavorful. But cold.

We had a VERY large group (called in several days in advance). When we arrived, they had tables set up and reserved for us. The service was unbeatable! I ordered my food at the front counter, and by the time I made back to my table, they were bringing it out. Had the turkey club and potato soup. It was HUGE! Very large portions and delicious. The wait staff was courteous and helpful. And were so helpful with anything we needed. Thank you so much!

We liked the atmosphere. Our food was just ok. I had the chicken pesto Alfredo. It was bland and the chicken was dry. The salad was delicious. My husband had the lemon chicken with 2 sides. His chicken was dry too and the pesto salad was bland. The potatoes were great though. Maybe the sandwiches are a better choice. We are on the fence about trying the place again.

Very cute place. Great location. Friendly atmosphere. My husband got the Shrimp Capri and the pasta was bland and overdone. My son got the Chicken Pesto Alfredo and his was pretty good. Needed seasoning. I ordered the burger and it wasn t bad but the fries were not even warm. It was all plated nicely. The total was almost $60 for all 3 of us which is around what we expected to pay. Just wish the food had been better. Parking: Plenty of parking on the side.

Love the super fresh and delicious food here. You can get something fresh here for less than a fast food meal, without a long wait. I love this restaurant! I have been waiting for a new Cafe Express to open near me since they closed the one in Market Street years ago. However, the service now is TERRIBLE!! The person who took my order was not at the front when I arrived and we had to wait for them to come from the back. Once she did arrive, she was slow and not familiar with the menu. There were 3 of us in my party and we were asked to use the same order number, which is fine, BUT that should mean we receive our food at the same time. This did not happen. They delivered the food at 3 separate intervals and never asked if we needed anything or if everything was made to order. I feel this restaurant is in dire need of new management or more training of their employees. Customer service should be just as important as the quality of food and their food is too delicious to have lackluster service!

We made the decision to dine in here after looking around the area for something reasonably priced and that would satisfy our (my family and I) appetite. I had a half, chicken pesto sandwich and a half, Greek salad. The food was wonderful. Fresh ingredients, incredible flavors. I had a couple of bites of mac n cheese. It was easily the best Ive had out of any other dine in/fast food establishment. Furthermore, the atmosphere was welcoming and the service was spot on. Fettuccini pesto pasta came out with a hair, had to get up from the table for someone to do anything about it. After it was remade, the chicken was disturbingly undercooked. Service was awful from top to bottom. Such a shame because the ambiance is fantastic. For a $40 meal for two people I expected so much more. So much potential gone to waste, truly.

I couldnt get a picture of my food because the aroma of the place made me dig right in! I love the atmosphere and the freshness of the food. I had the Amalfi Lemon Chicken with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Broccoli. Very simple bus so good! Oh and the hummus with pita bread!!

Healthy eating at its finest. I had the basil pesto chicken with garlic mash potatoes and spinach. Spinach was simple, juicy, and delicious. Mash potatoes was excellent, and the chicken was moist and cooked to perfection. Best part about this place is the restaurant ambiance. We need one in Forney TX. Unfortunately, I ate all my food, so no picture to show.

A very nice atmosphere - casual and cozy. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Mom got the tomato soup and said it was to die for! I got the turkey sandwich with added avocado. Very yummy!

Update: So I gave this place another try and ordered the Avocado Cubb and some wine. It was delightful!!! Maybe they just had a hiccup on the first lunch I had. Id definitely be back for the Avocado Cubb salad. The facility is sparkling clean, nice and quiet. Maybe the stars will turn to five on my next try. Thank yall for the delightful dinner. I had their Greek salad and some soup. The soup was very watery and the salad was meh.... The server was very attentive though.

Oh my goodness so happy to have Cafe Express back!! Everything was excellent. Trinity was awesome she was hostess/cashier, server, dishwasher she was awesome. Such a hard worker!!!
