6 of met there tonight (a Tuesday night). Food and beer was very good - had an IPA, Chicken Buffalo burger, and several appetizers. It would be nice if they had a larger selection of both beers and menu items but both were adequate. Place wasnt noisy so a great place to talk. There was no parking out front but there is a parking garage in the building behind the place and its a very short walk. Our server was outstanding - friendly, knowlegable and very helpful. She was the only server/bartender there but was always available. Ill be back!

Had Valerie as my bartender and loved her. She was super attentive, great conversationalist, and the drinks she made was super delicious!! Had a lot of bartenders from college type atmosphere bars make me old fashion and none of them meet my standards as expected. But Valerie did such a great job it went above and beyond my expectations giving it that smokey yet a hit of sweetness and bitterness in my old Fashion asking me questions about how I would like it. Overall 10/10 would definitely be back because of her bartending skills and being great company. Thanks Valerie for a fantastic night!!

I m in there once every couple of weeks and every time I come it seems i always get taken care of Lauren or Valerie. And every time I ve had them the experience has just been so good. Very personable people. They re amazing! Also the southwest eggrolls are great!

I was gonna look at doing DJ gigs here, then I realized what was going on and this place is owned by Harder Concepts, and well.... all of their locations are bad. I guess thats why they own 3 bars all less than a 1 minute walk of each other, lol. I dodged a bullet here, the staff at these locations is awful.

I had an awful experience here tonight with the service. The bartender didn t pay me any attention and purposely ignored me. 1st Order: I sat down at the bar and was the 3rd person there at the bar top. Not busy at all. She saw me sit down and I patiently waited for her to greet us, yet it took a couple minutes till she actually came up to us. 2nd Order: I went up to the bar; 2 bartenders walked around aimlessly while they chat with each other with their phones out showing each other whatever is more important. Keep in mind the bar isn t full. They could ve taken my order. Apparently, they thought I was standing there for fun. 3rd Order: This is when I knew she was giving me attitude. I went up to the bar, but this time I leaned against the bar to make it more known and waited for her to take my order. I was clearly there first and waiting. Some other guy walks up next to me. Tell me why? But she looked the other guy straight in the eye and took his order first? Didn t look at me, didn t try to figure out who got there first I immediately left to grab my partner and closed my tab. Moral of the story, I would not come here again. Find another bar that care about their customers because the bartenders there tonight have no clue what customer service is.

Unless you re going for drinks, stay away from here. I waited over an hour for my order and was not informed about a 4% charge on credit cards until after my card was swiped. When I approached the server (Amy) about it she only pointed to the receipt on the bottom and blamed the credit card company. Food was not good at all but ate it because I was hungry. Probably top 5 worst customer service I ve experienced in a long time. Wondering how long until they shut down or change ownership, they need it.

My wife and I went there at night for a pretzel because she had a craving. We got there and there were maybe 7 customers in the whole bar. We sat at the bar for 12 minutes before our presence was even acknowledged. We finally got some water, ordered our pretzel, then waited another 15 minutes until we got it but it was missing the cheese. To top it off, they charge a 4% convenience fee for all CC transactions, which isnt posted anywhere -- you find out after they charge you. I think they mean 20th century fee because no one does that any more in the 21st century. Might explain the lack of customers. We wont be going back. God forbid they actually be busy.

The only reason I came here 5 days outs of the week was because of jameson. I havent seen him for a few weeks and a customer told me management fired him. This bar sucked before jameson worked there and now that he doesnt work there it sucks again. when he worked there it was amazing. Also on my last visit i noticed I was charged 18% for taxes on my receipt, which is very illegal. I give this place 3 more months before its bankrupt or shut down for tax fraud.

Place is terrible! Dried out nasty chicken breast, overcooked burger, and a sad wilted salad. Update your menu online. Had we known everything we saw on pics were discontinued we certainly woulda not come. Then we got to sit and talk with a pile of dishes that sat there till after we left. Ridiculous

When the bartender came up to me, I asked him if I could get 2 waters and his reply was that he had 70 people in front of him(with a look of stupidity) and that he was not going to get me water and proceeded to kick us out because of that. I ve never been to a bar where they refuse to give water to someone AND then kick you out for it. According to the bouncers he was the manager so there was no one else to talk to and no else to get us water. The bouncers there are very quick to Judy and kick you out (if you ve been there you know what I mean). I would definitely recommend you go to shakertins over this place. Shakertins won t kick you out for asking for water lol also the manager at saintsbury is the older gentleman with no hair if you are wondering.

I have been here many times for watch parties but last week I was treated extremely horrible. My classmate and I sat for over 2 hours watching the game and no one came to service us. We saw people repeatedly come in and get service while continuing to be ignored. Did not see a manager on duty or maybe one of them was acting as manager for the night. Extremely disappointing after so many visits to the establishment.

Great daily specials, karaoke on Thursdays, good beer selection, and good bar food. Solid bar choice. I give it 4 stars because service can sometimes be hit or miss. It has definitely improved, but I need more of a sampling before I bump it up to 5 stars. In the past bartenders have been rude and waitresses would disappear forever. Between this spot and Shakertins next door, you dont need any other bars honestly. They both have dollar beer nights etc, always something going on during the week.

Saintsbury Tavern is part of the Harder Group of establishments and during the 2018 college basketball season my alumni group took advantage of its more expansive opening hours for our tournament game watching events. Saintsbury staff and management were exceptionally accommodating of this sudden surge of attendance coming at the early hours of operation. This reflects a friendly, familiar operation that could be seen in the obvious regular patronage of other customers and the immediate recognition as they arrived. Many regulars take advantage of the dog-friendly patio. The food that Ive tried is solid and tasty. The breakfast tacos (we did have 11am games) were quite satisfying and stood up well to my typical overdosing with Tabasco. The French Dip beef sandwich has good flavor and holds together nicely when dipped (not all do). Other alumni who ordered pizzas were quite pleased with their selections. I havent visited during late afternoons or evenings, so I cant comment on those hours and accept my review is on a limited perspective. But I am confident this is a solid, friendly, casual tavern.
