I was looking forward to trying this place and was not disappointed. The fish was fresh and hot, although it wasnt too seasoned for me. But the tartar sauce helped add flavor. The fries were seasoned ,hot and very crispy but not overcooked which I appreciate.

Pretty generous 3*. Crawfish balls were verybgood and came with a jalapeño ranch dip. Shrimp Po boy wasnt great (need better quality fresher bread, little mayo, sauce choice like the appetizers not ketchup) and came with 12 packets of ketchup. 1 person in line before our group of 3. He finished eating before any of our food came out. 1/3 right as last guy was finishing. 2/3 maybe 15 to 20 min later. 3/3 7 min after that. 2/3 and 3/3 were basically the same order aside from sandwich size. Of the 2 tables provided 1 was missing a bench and both had substantial bird poop all over.

Terrific food, and friendly staff but they cook to order and are very busy so it can take awhile for the order to be ready. (We think its worth the wait!) Its takeout only and you wait outside, but there are some stools to wait on out of the sun. The place is right next to Boyds bait store and thats busy also. Only a few nearby picnic tables, but you can go out on the Texas City Dike (which sometimes charges a fee) to find other picnic tables (which can be a bit sandy and have bird droppings) or you can eat in your vehicle.

The shrimp poboy we had was the heaviest sandwhich I have ever had. It had about a pound or more of fried shrimp and was filling for two people and came with extra tartar sauce on the side. We also enjoyed the fried sampler box which was a large portion. We will go back to this spot when fishing on the Texas City Dike. The price was amazing and worth the food.

We had a po boy and a combo basket. Everuthing was delicious food was crispy and everything seasoned and tasty. We appreciate the friendly service. Please be patient it may take awhile for food but it was well worth it. Everytime we fish we will be back.

Love the jumbo boiled shrimp. Latest update, they never remember to give the cocktail sauce, shrimp and cocktail sauce go together, but the last 5 times i went they always forget. seasoning used to be great but i think they cut back on how much they use when cooking the shrimp. ill still go here but ill need to see the cocktail sauce go in the bag.

I havent had the opportunity to try the Grill Portion, but I have had their Fresh Crawfish and Shrimp! They were Definitely QUALITY and Plentiful Quantity at Surprisingly Efficient Pricing (Purchased Sacks, one Level under highest tier). Ive often seen their advertised Specials, but this was my 1st privilege to witness in person. And my Experience was JUST That, Compliments of Liza! She was Awesome, Start to Finish! She was Very Knowledgeable and Helpful with adequate Tackle and Bait Selection, with Specifics due to Location, Tide and types of Fish sought (Red and Black Drum). During which, she exhibited Genuine Patience and Accommodation as I was a bit indecisive and Novice in my 1st Shopping experience here of MANY to come! Largely, Thanks to Lizas Service, Personality, Courteous Demeanor and Generosity! She Did Suggest and Recommend the Grill as well, which Imy Cousin did indulge, and I agreed to try on subsequent visit! Thanks Again Liza and Staff! Kudos! Until next Visit, Blessings!

This is my favorite place to come get crawfish at in Texas city, its affordable and their menus options are great. They freshly make everything and their batter fried food is the best , I recommend the fried mushrooms. Bought 9 lbs of crawfish from here along with 2 kids meals and some drinks. The kids food was good and their fries are delicious but, those crawfish are the smallest I have ever gotten from boyds. 1st time customers, my wife and I are from Louisiana. Crawfish were ok, fried fish was very good and thick, I loved it. French fries were good but the hush puppies were dog food, crispy on the outside and uncooked on the inside. Prices were good but the fish was $11.00/$12.00 for two pieces although they were large but not like 2 filets but like the upper section of two thick filets. I would go back but I would try a close restaurant with seating first.

I enjoy their crawfish, but sometimes their crawfish is very small.. They are very flavorful. I suggest calling the restaurant first to hear the prerecorded information for prices and availability. The potatoes are usually very small. There is no inside seating, so all orders are together but you are right there at the Dike where you could sit and enjoy the water and peace.
