food is delicious, ingredints seem very fresh, but.......the staff seems lazy, some girl laying on the ground inside while im at the window waiting for my order. food is always good, but.....they always mess something up. 1.1st visit forgot to put jalpenos on my burger 2. next visit i asked for onion rings instead of fries and they just added a side order of onion rings 3. 3rd visit got my order wrong again, but also gave me someone elses order so bonus food is great but the staff needs some serious training

Ive been here 4 times now this past year and the food has always been pretty good the reason Im giving 2 stars is because the kids running the place dont listen and I make the order as simple as possible literally only add cheese and bacon and EVERY SINGLE TIME I get my food guess whats missing the cheese and bacon that I paid EXTRA for so if you go here dont change anything on your order cuz youll end up paying for it and not getting it its happened all 4 times Ive visited we still come back because the food is good but they need to train their people a little better or perhaps make a sign telling people not to customize their order

I was very much looking forward to trying this place but they failed the customer service test. I first asked for the combo but did not want a drink so I didn t want to be charged for it. Apparently this isn t possible. Customers need to be able to purchase a burger and fries for less than the combo with drink. Next, I asked for my burger to be cut in half and was again told no. Part of successful customer service is doing what it takes, within reason, to make sure your customer is happy and served properly. Asking for my burger to be cut in half is not unreasonable. You should be happily cutting burgers in half or even quarters if this is requested. Chick-fil-A will do it. That s why they have the greatest customer service model in the food industry. It s baffling to me that managers refuse to follow their simple customer service model. Can you imagine? So, if you re willing to address these issues, I may return and try your food and then make a better recommendation to friends, family and coworkers.

Went there tonight and spent almost $40 food if always good but the customer service is HORRIBLE! They always have a stank look on their face on the night crew, never say your welcome when I say thank you they don t smile and cut you off every 3 words with anything else . No reason to be rude if they re unhappy with their job find another one!

This used to be the best burger place id ever tried. Now it sucks. New owners, I have a question. Why were the 2 pieces of bacon on my BLT, black but have the consistency of rubber? Normal bacon would snap at that color. Not yours. Try eating your own food. Because I sorely regret coming here a second time since you have taken over.

Went here today at noon for lunch , everything was amazing my food was amazing. Customer service amazing,Fries delicious . Everything about this little spot was wonderful. It was my 1st time here the young lady that took my order was super polite and sweet . She explained every single item to me. I told her to tell the manager that I said yall are awsome and doing a good job. Turns out that sweet young lady that took my order was the manager . Super nice and polite manger . The girl at the window was a sweet heart too Thank you bases for a great service, God bless yall. The manger was very polite, patient ,and a sweet heart .I will be back soon.

I came into town wanting Bases but was warned its not like it used to be but ordered anyway. Big mistake. Flat microwaved burger with one small peice of wilted lettuce and a thin slice of mushy tomatoe. They gave me no pickles or onions so that nice crunch was non-existent. Ive had better burgers at McDonalds and I dislike that place. What a dissapointment and a waste of money.

Absolutely terrible customer service. My husband is a big fan & I try to bring it home from work but every-time there is an issue. This time I m in drive thru at the start of a rain storm & employee tells me to wait 10 min. Because she is doing a report!! Mind you it is 2:00pm. I called inside to place order hoping that will have burgers ready in 10mins so I would waste my entire lunch break just waiting to order. Now I m being told she cannot take my order if I am not purchasing 5 burgers!!! Can t win for loose. I won t be surprised if you go out of business with this type of service which will be sad. If this reaches management PLEASE make some changes, your food is a town favorite.

They actually had a 5 star review until today. I was there ordering my burgers like I always do and the guy kept cutting me off before I was done. I suggested if he waited until I was done talking. He may not have to be asking questions. He told me how rude I was and threatened to call law enforcement, not understanding how rude he was being himself. Im glad you got so much business going on. I drove all the way from Santa Fe For hamburgers. The double play had onions on it when I requested no onions, just a little shot of ketchup And on the single, the Home Run it had no pickles, no onions, a shot of ketchup, burnt cheese, and on both burgers the patties were burnt and dry. Bases used To be fantastic. The lady on the register was not friendly whatsoever & she was on her phone when I pulled up. I don t know who the owners are but y all need to stop investing on hamburger paper and cups with your name on it and put it back into a quality food supplier and If you re OK with your employees being on their cell phone, at least find an app that helps them with customer service because they absolutely suck or maybe invest in some older people that need a job and not our kids that live with mom and dad!.

Tried to go there just before 6pm on a Sunday, the drive through was roped off, even though it says theyre open till 7pm, I saw a few people inside and the door was slightly open so, as I approached the door, one young lady said they were closed, as I asked what time they closed on Sundays, she rudely ignored me and pulled the door back in my face, I thought she didnt hear me so I opened the door to ask again and she literally pulled the door shut and told me not to touch the door and still refused to answer the question. I gave 3 star rating based on my past visits but, the food and service is not as good as it once was for sure.

Came in tonight ordered a double play with bacon and a single play with bacon as well as a single corn dog. As I receive my food I start to go through the bag and the man at the window specifically said the corn dog is in the bag. I u sweat and there was a line behind me and he was trying to hurry things along. Anyways that made me comfortable enough to drive away. As I get down the road my child discovers the corn dog was not in the bag so then I had to turn around and go back to the restaurant . I tell the person on the speaker and that they forgot my food and they said I got you . I then had to wait in the line AGAIN. Now I m low on drink and fries so I try to get and extra fry to compensate my wait. It seemed like the manager get had a problem with throwing alittle more potatoes in a bag because of their own mistake. I ask her, for the extra fries and she rudely says, uhhh no. As if I asked for an entire meal. I waited in a line twice for their mistake. Anyways, I get home and the burgers were the worst I ve ever experienced at bases. The bacon I had paid for wasn t on there. There was literally a single leaf of lettuce on ONE of the sandwiches and the other had no veggies at all. Both were way over seasoned, it tasted just like waterburger. Bases, y all dropped the ball tonight big time. From the looks of other people in the line they had issues as well.

I saw someone recommend this place in a Houston FB group. Someone asked what is the best burger in Houston and someone recommended driving all the way down to TX City because of how good these burgers are. I live in League City so it was a no brainer. Im a fan of Tookies and am a sucker for Whataburger, but Bases is now my favorite burger in the area, possibly the state. Ill have to have some discipline in order to not eat here every day lol

Bases Burgers is a nostalgic little drive thur buger stand that has Burgers that are the perfect size to fill you up. Thinner crispy fries and fountain sodas. The mozzarella cheese sticks (3 to an order) are thick and battered and so strechy. The Home Run is the perfect medium size to fill me up, and my husband enjoys the Double Play combo, which is large. Over all juicy burgers, crispy fries and onion rings and yummy cheeses, sticks, and fried pickles. We will definitely return. They remind me of getting Burgers at the astrodome way back when. When you have the right recipe dont change it. Love this place for a quick bite.

We ve been coming to Bases what an what are you trying to get her fired ever since we moved here six years ago. And it s always been great. However, today through the drive-through, there was very poor customer service. The teenager taking my order was speaking in slang and she did not take my order correctly. I ve never had to check my orders before because they never mess it up. I realize it s summer and we hire teenagers to work but if I pay for something I want to get what I paid for.

This fast food restaurant has amazing burgers and sandwiches for really good prices. Its just a drive-through, but Ive been coming here for 5 years now and the food and service have stayed consistently great! There may be a line of cars, but dont let it stop you from giving them a shot!

The manger Ruby Is the most sweetest soul and a very hard worker . I watch her jump on 3 stations in less the 6 mins . She took my order outside the door ,then the person on the headset order and she charge the person at window and then jumped on the grill and fries. They were shorthanded she did everything with a big smile on her face . Shes a team player kept telling her team they were all doing good and not to stress out . The 6 mins I was there I could tell she is an amazing leader for that crew. You dont find a lot of people like her in this world . Good job Ruby and everyone that work with her today . My food was amazing like always . I love bases!

We went to Bases last night around 8PM and ordered a couple of Home Runs and a Chicken Fried Steak Basket. The CFS was rock hard and had obviously sat out for hours and then been thrown back into the frier. You couldnt even bite through it. We called and they put a manager on the phone who sounded 18 and didnt do anything about it. Just said sorry. Weve been going to Bases for 20 years and never had food this bad. The hamburgers were cold and were someone elses order. They were covered in jalapenos and extra mayo. Come on, Bases. Do better. Edit: Thank you to the owner for responding personally. Well still be Bases customers and look forward to our next visit. Im sure this will all be resolved. Im sorry to post a 2 star review but had to be honest.

Normally we have great food from here. Last night I ordered a chicken fried steak sandwich and it was hard as a brick, dry. I cant believe they put that on a bun and sold it. You couldnt even bite through it. I called to talk to a manager the next day and got a kid on the phone. Hope they get to the bottom of it.

The kid at the window never gave me my receipt but after correcting my order because it was way wrong reading it back checked my order after leaving I was missing items most of my items were wrong , I ve been coming here for years and these past couple months I ve had issue after issue will not be going back
