Went in today for a late breakfast/brunch and everything was so good! Great espresso latte and hot tea! My son loved the chocolate chip sticky bun and bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. My mom and I had the avocado toast with egg and tomato which was delicious! We played games from their shelf as we waited! Such a perfect little spot!

I absolutely love this place. It gives off a great atmosphere. Reminds me of New Orleans. Everyone is friendly and helpful. My favorite coffee is the 2nd amendment. So delicious. I ve eaten there several times and I love the cinnamon rolls. So delicious. Mama Dana is so kind and caring. The employees are so nice. It s a calm and laidback environment. They take their time with each customer which is fine. They truly are doing an outstanding job. We need this place here in Texas City

Dana made our wedding shower truly special with an incredible spread of food, and the space looked amazing! Great food, great service, great people. Support local business! Dietary restrictions: My fiance is lactose intolerant, and Dana whipped up several dairy free options for our buffet.

The quick and dirty: confusing atmosphere and staff and $7-bucks for flavored milk. So my wife and I saw that there was a new coffee joint in town and we were excited to try. We love cafes and love supporting local and small businesses. First, parking was less than ideal but it works for a small cafe. Upon walking in we were not greeted and were confused if we order at the counter or just sit and someone would come over. After maybe 2 minutes, we went to the counter and found a menu. All of the specialty lattes are $7, which seems like a lot. This is coming from someone who will go to Black Rock or Starbucks and spend $5-6 on a latte or coffee. The person at the counter was did not seem knowledgeable about the products but we made a choice and found a seat. As for the place itself, I think they were going for some kind of NoLa eclectic vibe but it comes off as confusing. There are random cabinets with pastries around and I was not sure if they were just on display or for sale. While waiting, the staff came out several times to ask the only 2 other customers several questions about their order (it came off as disorganized). After waiting close to 10-mins our drinks came out. Mine tasted like milk, cheap flavored syrup, and NO coffee. My wife s (who ordered something completely different) was no better, they were undrinkable. We were so disappointed that we drove straight to Starbucks to get a coffee we could depend on. All together the ordeal cost us almost $30, 2 disappointing drinks at Legal Brew and 2 standards at Starbs.

What an nice surprise for Texas City!! Great quality and value, so rare! VERY good quality coffee and food, we were bowled over! Our choices; Iced cappuccino - excellent, and a double mocha-caramel coffee called Double Jeapordy... both very nice. Food we tried: their delicious Apple-Bourbon cinnamon roll & Nutella Galette. Chicken salad was excellent, offered with some very complementary cranberry-almond biscuits. My wife had an also-delicious ham, egg & cheese burrito and I tried a Muffaletta Pizza. It was quite tasty, but Id like it better with salami or without the pepperoni. Still a delight! Dana and Kimori, her server took wonderful care of us, also a delight! Loved talking food with them. Recommended!! Go give them a try!

Absolutely delightful cafe. My family visited from Galveston today and enjoyed the black eyed peas dish, a breakfast sandwich, a pancake & sausage on a stick, bear hug latte, Salty Irishman latte (so good!) and a danish. The owner and her son and the rest of the staff are lovely and made us feel at home, answering all of our questions, bringing a toy over for our toddler to enjoy, and providing excellent service. The cafe itself is cozy and full of character, from the decor to the reading materials and games available. They even have a pay it forward available to provide meals for those less fortunate. The ambience is really unique and special. Definitely worth a stop. This is a hidden gem. We will be back!

Stopped in this morning to experience it for myself .not disappointed at all! I tried the honey lavender tea (it s SO good), and I wanted to try a buttered pecan latte, but they were out of buttered pecan .so the suggestion was a butter something latte I can t remember. It was good though! Breakfast smelled great (but I didn t order food this time). Nice breakfast and lunch menu and good selection of fresh baked pastries
