The experience was really good because of how the server kept making sure we were all good and asked if we need anything else. When we walked in they quickly greeted us and sat us down, and they also had a good atmosphere. I got the Bloomin Chicken sandwhich and it was really good, it wasn t raw or anything. Over all everything was really good we enjoyed our dinner over there.

Amazing.....And Wonderful Experience! We havent been to this Outback in a Couple Years! This Place has Completely changed! From the Moment We walked in.....We were greeted with a Warm and Welcoming feeling. They Sat Us Immediately and heres where it All began! ASHER Was Our Server and She had the Most Beautiful Soul! Everything We asked for she went ABOVE and BEYOND! It was my Sons birthday and she made it such and Amazing Experience for Us! The Food was Outstanding! Hot....Fresh and tasted delicious. So Last but not least I had to find out how this Restaurant did such an AMAZING Turn around from when I went Years back. And this is when I Met Matt the General Manager! NOW I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND WHY THIS LOCATION HAS CHANGED! Matt Really CARES About this Store and takes Great Pride in it! Was waiting to order due a family crowd apparently, basically an after thought. Ask the server for a spoon 3 separate times. Ordered the lunch sirloin medium rare, definitely was not. Could not get a refill of water to save my life. My so son s high chair buckle was broken. The only thing decent about this location was the restroom. It was either bad timing or just straight up an overall bad experience. Will not be returning!

Food was good. Unfortunately your employees who take their breaks in the bar area need to learn some manners. Your customers don t want to hear profanity and watch employees flip the bird to each other when they are trying to enjoy their meal. If they don t know how to act mature and appropriate in front of customers, they need to take their breaks elsewhere!!

I had a sirloin and it was nicely cooked to my preference. The sides, which were baked potato and rice, were also quite nice. The rest of my family also had sirloins and had no issues with their meal. We ordered 3 alcoholic beverages too, a blueberry lavender lemonade, a piña Kuala and a sangria of sorts. The sangria had a nice flavor, and the piña Kuala had a bit too strong of a pineapple flavor for our liking. The blueberry lavender lemonade was personally was personally my favorite, it has enough of lavender flavoring for you to taste it but not overwhelming enough to have a soapy flavor. I will admit however that the lemonade somehow felt too heavy of a drink for me where I could not finish the whole thing. It tastes great but I wish it was a bit on the lighter side. Our waitress was sweet and made sure we got our orders right.

We have always enjoyed dining at your establishment and have consistently been impressed by the quality of the food. However, during our recent visit for dinner this past Sunday, we encountered an unfortunate situation. After being seated, we discovered that a very large cockroach crawled on our 2-year-old son. We immediately brought this to the attention of the hostess and requested to be moved. Our waiter was very understanding, and the manager kindly offered to cover half of our meal, though this gesture was not followed through. While we appreciate the effort, our primary concern is the potential health risk. We believe it may be beneficial for the health department to conduct another inspection, as this incident suggests a serious pest issue.

Theres a good reason that this location is so empty on Saturday. This used to be me and my hubbys go to location whenever we were in a mood for Outback but not anymore. Meat itself was okay, but thats how the steak is cooked when we asked for a medium rare. Thats a medium well. Their Kingsland pasta used to be good but not any more; poorly seasoned, bland, undercooked. Our Server was somewhere over the rainbow when we asked for ketchup & soda refill. Well, we cant blame him because he was the ONLY ONE who covers the entire restaurant. He was nice to us but it seemed like he had absolutely no idea what hes doing. Dirty dishes remained piled up as we are getting our dessert. Dont think well ever comeback to this location. Not worth $80 ish for 2 ppl.

We came in today 8/25/24 with a party of 10. We received the worst service ever. Some of us got our food and others had to ask multiple times for theirs. One person in our party asked for jalapeños and was told they were being sliced he asked for them several more times and never got them. I asked for my mashed potatoes several times and we all had to ask fir our drinks to be filled. One person in our party asked for his burger to be prepared a certain way it came out wrong and then they had to ask two more times before they goth the order right and the manager is the one that was taking the order the last time she had to ask again. This is very poor service and Im sure not what is expected. What is also not expected is for all of us to come in and spend over 40 on each check and get this kind of service.

Came to the area for the last Cowboys Preseason came and was craving steak. This location was close to my hotel so I trekked over. I walked in and was immediately greeted! I had the pleasure of having Alan waiting on me during my visit. He was very personable and even liked chatting. I am a talker! The manager stopped by and was very pleased to know that his staff had been exceptional and that I had noticed how clean this location was! I love when managers take pride in their business. My food came out quickly and was delicious! Steak was cooked perfectly and potato had plenty of butter. I ordered carrot cake to go and it is one of the best I have had. ( thank God no raisins ) oh, they even do a virgin version of their shark drink so of course I had to have one. When in Irving, go visit the crew at this Outback.

Total disaster, please avoid this restaurant. No one was at hostess stand, then when they did seat us, it was by a booth occupied by a family that believes in allowing their children to have free range. Well, we waited, and waited, but no one came by to offer waters or take our drink order. They did seat another family near us. After 10 minutes, my husband went to talk to the hostess. A waitress finally came, but only took the newly seated tables order. Getting no apologies or satisfaction from the hostess, we left and ate elsewhere. I suggest you do the same, unless you prefer to be ignored and treated as less than.

In short, cleanliness and attentiveness to customer satisfaction didnt really seem to be a priority. The restaurant was almost empty as we went in the afternoon, but we didnt see our server for several minutes after we sat down. Maybe the person who seated us didnt communicate with her, maybe he did - that we will never know. The stake tasted okay, but all were overdone by one degree. By the time the server had come to check to see how the food was for us, it would have been too late, time management-wise for us to all have them replaced. We had other stuff to do, so we lived with it.

Exactly what I expected. Service was trash. Got all of my orders wrong in some form or fashion (wrong soup, wrong cook on steak, bad tea, etc.) At least they offered dessert . The chili was the most notable part of our meal. Nice n spicy, no beans, tender tomatoes, good chunks of steak.

The host was everywhere. When I was seated it took the staff seven minutes to even acknowledge I was there. I literally had to ask the host to get the waitress for me twice in which it started to make me feel uncomfortable. The food was subpar and the service was bad. If the staff could actually do their job and not sit back and talk all the time maybe they could get some work done. NEVER coming back to this location

I ve always been a loyal customer at this establishment. But when you have a pushy waitress, it s the reason I will stop coming here. My son and I ordered 2 lemonades. The drinks were TOO Excessively sweet. I asked this waitress to serve 2 waters so I can mix it with the lemonade. I am diabetic and cannot drink the lemonade. She asked if something was wrong with the drinks I said yes it is TOO sweet. Some time later, the Manager stops by and asked if everything was ok? I said yes. I have a feeling the waitress might of complained about me, who knows. I asked the manager for a box to go. The boxes were provided. The waitress then provides the check and is literally pushing me for me to pay. I am not a dasher, she really thought I wasn t going to pay? I had to call the credit card company because my card was locked, she comes back as if I m not going to pay her, I snapped and told her to wait. When I saw the manager, I paid her with the unlocked card. I m not going to this restaurant, if you are going to psh me and expect a tip, it s not going to happen!

Service at the bar wins this round. The food was just OK and maybe not as good as I remember. I ordered the 6oz filet and lobster tail, and it was marginal at best. The steak was cooked at a medium rare but was tough and stringy. The lobster tail was small, and I felt bad for eating such a tiny lobster. The drinks were well made and at a fair price, but the bartenders service was on point. Especially with the waitstaff cackling in the corner.

O wish there was a negative star so I can give the proper rating.-10.The waitress must ve been new as she came to my side of the table to help her push/ find the food I was ordering, after telling her I wanted to place a take out and bring it with the bill. She brought it before our meals were served then argued with me stating I didn t tell her that, then the dirty dishes were not taken from our table when our meal came and the steak was med. rare but so tough I couldn t cut it also the sweet potatoes was watered and so wilted like it was boiled see pics.My husband asked for a loaded potato but he got sour cream and a few chives there was much more. The manager did come and removed sum items after I showed her the items and asked her to try cutting that nasty steak. STAY AT HOME AND MAKE YOUR OWN.. I will NOT return

We had a situation where our waitress unintentionally spilled some mustard sauce over my wife s dress; of course the waitress got really nervous afterwards even though we said to her that everything s ok and we understand it was an accident. Her manager came in and offered excuses and promised to fix it. We insisted it was ok and there was no need to fix anything but he insisted in not charging us for my wife s food. Food was really great, and the manager was quick to support her employee which we appreciated because it was just something that can happen to anyone. But at the end we left feeling really good, not only with the great food but also with their professionalism handling the situation!

I just want to brag for a moment about the service level I experienced with my Valentine s dinner last night. Pablo Manus the kitchen manager at the Outback Steakhouse in Irving, TX off belt line rd went over and beyond to get my meal delivered to me. DoorDash never delivered my original order, and within 2 hours of notifying Pablo, he reordered my meal and physically delivered my order to my home when DoorDash didn t have anyone to deliver. This act of kindness was so special to me. I have been coming to Outback for 31 years with all of my family. We are loyal outbacker s, and we experienced greatness. Pablo needs a raise and promotion for going above and beyond for my husband and I s 26th Valentine s meal together. We will never forget this Pablo!

Do not have this place deliver your food. I guess show up at the restaurant. Steak was terrible, Lobster tail had bones in it, and had the observance of a piece of shrimp, for an additional 30 bucks. Sweet potato looked like it came out of the garbage. Just all around an awful dinner. Used a gift card and was expecting a good meal. All around, cost me the full additional $100. Wowzers Ive been eating Outback for decades. However, tonight, at this location, 5 stars aligned ! The bloomin onion was cooked to perfection, extra sauce was much appreciated The wood chip smoked old fashion was so amazing, I had to send a video to my wife The steak was seasoned, seared and temperature tuned with the skill of a Michelin chef The broccoli was somehow boderline consistency of crunchy cotton candy Thank you Naomi for the wine tasters and the cocktail smoker demo Thank you Gustavo for cooking like a pro Thank you Danny for checking on me often Thank you Leann for cultivating such an epic team Cant wait to visit again ! Update: They are on a record breaking losing streak here. When Im told that my order cant be replaced because its the next day and is too soon! Then told we ok Ill remake it but not with your Drink. Totally unacceptable customer service.

Steaks cooked perfectly, our server Freddy was intuitive and on point. Food was delicious especially the french onion soup..Yum! Our Outback in South Irving never disappoints! Keep up the great work!

My family and I visited the restaurant on a Monday night for a birthday celebration. Thankfully, it wasn t crowded and we were able to see our party of 15 without a problem. We were blessed with an experienced and attentive server that was prompt with responding to requests and got all our orders correctly. Mima care of our party very well, thank you for your friendly and courteous service.! I ordered a steakhouse salad that was delicious. And from all accounts of my family members each and everyone of them enjoyed their meal tremendously. Certainly no empty stomachs that s for sure. And no complaints of overcoat or undercooked steaks. The restaurant itself was attractive and Aussie themed. The dishes likewise. Thank you.

Location is poorly managed had to send my food back twice to get it right. Bar was backed up couldn t get a drink. Very loud and couldn t even hear my partner in front of me without yelling. Never coming back to this location

Food was good as it usually is. They left items out of my to go order and when I called back refused to refund me or make it right. I understand that mistakes happen, but because they chose to do nothing I am leaving this review. I asked for a manager and was told I could not speak with a manager and a manager could not call me back. Basically just gave them my money so will not recommend this location to others.

I just want to give a shout out to you about Suchet KONG Saiyingdee. He left the Outback in Waipio, Hawaii, to become the manager of the outback in Irwing, Texas. I just want you to know that you are gaining a real gym of a person. He is a stellar manager who knows how to communicate with staff and patrons. This man does everything right. I am certain you will love his kind and agreebale demeanor. I sure do miss him here in Hawaii. Kong is definitely your gain and our deep loss!

Sat at the bar for lunch...retired birthday. The service was great. The food was great. Adjusted the lunch to my dietary needs. Dietary restrictions: I cant eat fried foods so they changed to baked potatoes rather than fries easily. Parking: Plenty of spaces in a big lot.

The host was awesome, very friendly and nice. The waitress was not attentive at all, we had to get someones attention and ask anytime we wanted/needed anything. Usually it was another waitperson as our waitress was too busy chatting to people at another table. When our food was brought out (by a different waitperson) they didnt bring two of our side dishes that we had ordered, we also had to get someones attention to ask where the rest of our order was. AFTER the other waitstaff said they would check for us, our waitress stopped byour table and asked if everything was ok...at that time my almost empty tea glass was setting at the edge of the table, it never got refilled until I asked and it took so long that it was brought in a to go cup. Both of us ordered our steaks medium well, one was cooked as ordered and the other was closer to medium. We didnt say anything because we were afraid that by the time we got someones attention and the issue was taken care of, one of us would be finished eating and waiting for the other to finish. I kept looking around to see if the restaurant was busy and thats why service was so bad, but it wasnt busy or close to closing time. Im not the kind to ever leave and not leave a tip, but this experience made me come really close to it. My sister and I will NEVER visit the OBSH in Irving again.
