I asked Myka the manager what quality the meat ribeye was and she said she didnt know! Is it choice? Prime? My ribeye is always dry and tough thats what made me ask. LNR in downtown belton, buy $20 ribeyes; throw on the grill, even after warming up they will be 2x as good and 2x as cheap. No thanks Lonestar, never again. Garbage.

Food was pretty good but the service was absolutely terrible. We waited 10+ minutes just for our waiter to come to the table then another 20+ minutes for our drinks. It wasn t even that busy to cause that long of a wait. My husband waited even longer for his drinks at the bar. The waiter only came to our table like 3 times the entire time, I was drinking an empty cup 90% of the dinner.

Sweet potato was literally hard on the inside. It was replaced with one that was half the size but cooked through. The pork chops were hard to chew. The Brussel sprouts had good flavor, but were also hard to chew. The onion appetizer was good. If I werent with colleagues, I would have walked out as I dont ask for re-dos.

The food was over seasoned. We were seated and had to wait 5 minutes before the wait staff realized we were there. The waitress was friendly. However, I felt that we were an afterthought as we were brought extra drinks before we could even finish the first and were only checked on in passing. The place wasnt even crowded. Its 3:41 PM 7/20 hardly any customers. You have plenty of hosts and servers. Sat in a booth in the bar by hostess. No waters brought to us. Waitress walks by 5 mins later says Ill be with you in a few minutes. Hostess girls/servers chit chatting talking at hostess stationno attention to anyone. 5 mins later we leave. AWFUL customer service, no excuse lost our business and recieved this post. Treat paying customers better. Youre not busy and have staff??? What a waste

My daughter thought this would be a good place to take her Dad for Fathers Day. Boy, was she wrong. It was not good. Wait, the bread was warm. The queso was not hot, yuk!! my steak was not hot, and it was on the charred side, and hubbys food was not hot. I should have known when I walked in and was not greeted or asked if I needed help. Luckily, my daughter had a table already. I wanted to turn around so badly, but I did not want to be the bad guy. They were looking forward to eating there. They assumed the food and service would be great because we have eaten at the location in CypressTexas several times, and it was awesome every time. I just didnt trust Temple, and I was right. If you pay attention, you can feel the vibe anywhere when you walk in, most of the time. The server put the food on the table and left, never asked us anything. She wasnt that great. She never really interacted with us, and I we didnt interact with the tip. After fighting off the flies, I left regretting wasting 90 minutes of my life. Sad to say, I did not eat my food, took a to go tray, and ate it the next day. The experience there ruined my entire mood. I told them we should have eaten at Texas Roadhouse because they have never disappointed us. Never again LornHorn Steakhouse in Temple.

Food was good. So was the service. However the dog sitting in a chair at the table next to us and eating off the plates of its owners was not an appetizing experience. It was not a service dog either. Service dogs don t sit in chairs at the table. There was no markings or signage as such either. Management needs to put a stop to that.

I am in a wheelchair and the waitstaff made sure to open the doors for us coming and going and found the perfect table for wheelchair clearance. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. Food is okay but the service is atrocious and management does not care. Wait times are always long and don t expect to see a server within the first 15 minutes of being sat. They could care less about being kind, polite or caring. I waited 35 minutes for a water and it I had to ask for it 4 different times. One of our plates was of poor quality and the server told my family member that their steaks are always tough yet no one else s was and the remake was fine. We are a larger family and like to eat out for special occasions but we will not be coming back. We used to enjoy Longhorn but in the recent months it has not been worth the time.

Had to try a good Steak house. Once inside I was very surprised. This restaurant is beautiful,calming and ready to give you a fine meal. The cuts of meat are multiple and for me was hard to choose. The steaks were perfect along with a fully loaded baked potato with salad. Mmmm. Only a 4 rating due to the service ( forgot my appetizer, finally got it with my meal). Went last night, waited an hour and fourty minutes to get seated. Ordered food immediately because we had over an hour to look at the menu. Food came an hour later and one whole meal for my 15yr old never showed up. All she ordered was a steak and fries. We asked several times for the meal. The meal finally came once everyone was done eating. So we had to take the meal to go. At the end when it was time to pay the bill it took 40 minutes for the server to finally get to us to pay. Needless to say we did not enjoy our food nor the time it took from our lives for subpar food.

I stay at the hotel that is 5 min walking distance and have eaten here often. Called about 25 min before closing to get a meal since there is nothing close to the hotel. The server wasted more time asking her manager if they could even take the order. I even told them I could be there before the phone was hung up. Both the manager and the server refused the order and hung up on me. I work for a major company and since we dont have transportation to and from hotel we are limited on choices where to get food and this is one of the places we can walk to. I was trying to get a simple order to go since it was close to closing, and they refused. Poor business practices since my fellow employees and I give you alot of business.

Every time I come here I enjoy my time. Stopped in most recently and got right in on a Saturday night. I ordered the brisket queso appetizer which was fantastic, I do recommend the spicy chicken bite appetizer as those are fantastic and my usual go to. This time I enjoyed a classic Jack & Coke which was excellent as well as the Parmesan Crusted Chicken & Baby back ribs which was spectacular, the ribs were solid, nothing amazing however the chicken was the star of the show. The food, atmosphere, and waitress were great. We definitely return. The only downfall was the wait time. When we were added to the waiting list, they just added my name and said I would get a text. First, I loved the atmosphere. The lighting was perfect. My son loved his steak combo, the bread, and everything else. I loved the fact that it was not crowded. It was about 3 pm. There were only about 4 other tables filled, and, we were spaced out. Im a tea drinker, and they do serve hot tea.

EVERYONE STARED when I came in with a friend in a wheelchair. Like get over it people. At the end of our dinner a waitress from Backporch restaurant came in and was tweeking! she was LOUD LETTING EVERYONE know her business. Then she was hitting on some dude. You can tell she was working him. I ordered desert. It has a hair in it. Didnt offer to take it off the bill

Always a good bet for a good meal without breaking the bank. The service is always good, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The steaks are always well seasoned, and cooked just the way you request. Parking: It is a busy place, so parking can be a little dicey. However, we have never not found a parking place.

Went there yesterday. Food was good. Service was an absolute joke. Waited 15 min for the waitress to show up just to take drink orders. Almost went to the bar to get my drink refilled myself. After the Food Came out... Waitress never came to check for another 15 min (I was missing something on my order) When I told her when she finally did come. I was already done with my steak. She said I can still get the missing item. . Uh no too late. I told her just to make sure its not on the bill. . Well Food is still better than that other place... But service is/was pretty bad.

What a disappointment. We went to the Longhorn Steakhouse for dinner and were very disappointed. We had to wait 10 minutes for just a glass of water and a sweet tea. I ordered the ribeye steak with a baked potato. I got a ribeye steak that was one of the toughest steaks that I have had and instead of a baked potato I got mashed potatoes. My partner ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. She also ordered a margarita. All of her food was luke warm at best and the margarita had something floating in it. We expressed our disappointment to our server and he went and told the manager. The manager came to our table and we explained the situation to him and he basically shrugged his shoulders and walked away. His attitude was just a big FU - no apology or asking what he could do to make things right.. Our server came back to our table and asked if his manager came to the table. We told him the manager had come to the table. He asked what was agreed to and we said nothing had been agreed to. He asked what we thought would be an equitable adjustment. We told him he would have to ask his manager.. He went and talked to the manager and came back and said the manager indicated that we were to get a 25 percent discount. Also it was indicated that they had ran out of baked potatoes and substituted the mashed potatoes but no one ever asked if that was acceptable to me or if I wanted something else. We paid the tab with the 25 percent discount and left a minimum tip for the server. What a real disappointment.

27 January 2024. My wife and I ate between 15-1600 hrs. Service was very good. Main reason I m posting today, whoever the cook was today, the steaks were outstanding! We had the Outlaw Ribeye, just about perfect! Give that man a raise, if he consistently cooks that well.

The food and service was good. The wait on another note was too long. We waited almost 2 hrs. It was a large group of 8. The manager apologized but didnt offer to set up tables together or sit side by side. Give options. I would have left. Luckily, the birthday girl wanted to eat there.
