Love this place. I had the Snow Crab, and my wife had the Dungeness Crab. The table next to us got fried shrimp, and it looked delicious. Crabs snapped and were some of the best Ive ever had. Prices are reasonable, and the service was fantastic. Kid-friendliness: Another table had kids and waiters, which were very attentive.

Amber was our server and she was amazing! Very attentive and sweet! I had the clam chowder and it was okay. I ordered a fried basket with shrimp, catfish and tilapia. The fries and the shrimp were great. The catfish and tilapia were over cooked and dry.

First time eating here. I ordered the calamari for an appetizer, and it was good, I would say about average for calamari for an appetizer. I also ordered boiled shrimp in hot garlic and Cajun. They were big and very good. It comes with a tater and 1 corn. For the entree, I ordered the 2 fish and 5 or 6 shrimp fired. The shrimp were huge, which I liked. They were pretty good. The catfish as well. It was all cooked correctly, and the batter on the fried stuff wasnt too overwhelming. It had a good crunch to it. Teresa was my waitress and she was very polite and on top of things. The sweet tea is amazing btw.

Amazing service!! Great food and great people managers were both very helpful to me and my husband. We love the food crab was amazing! We left our wallet and came back 30 minutes later not a thing was missing we can not say enough nice things about this restaurant and their employees and staff just amazing people! We will be back!

The name truly says it all! We decided to check out Yummy Crab (Temple) after a long afternoon of shopping since it was so conveniently located. Upon entering my bestie, her son, and I were immediately greeted and welcomed in. They led us to our table straight away and honestly the atmosphere felt more inviting than any other restaurant ive been to in Temple. Really felt like we were family. Stepping into Yummy Crab felt like being in a coastal town. I loved the decor and it really tied in so well with the theme of the restaurant. Our server was incredibly patient and kind plus informative about the menu/drinks. We had a 5 year old with us so we were able to get his drink/food ordered and it came out so very quick! Great to keep him occupied for a while & he loved the shrimp boil with butter! We ordered a couple drinks for ourselves, I got their new Lemon Drop and my bestie got their Bomb Pop drink. Both were literally so perfect and I was not expecting the Lemon Drop to look so pretty! The Bomp Pop also tasted just like the popsicle. For food, I had a pound of snow crab legs and when I say they were cooked to perfection, I MEAN IT. The crab was sliding perfectly out of the shells!! I chose to get the seasoning all mixed and medium spice for my boil, which was incredibly tasty. My bestie got butter/lemon pepper and no spice for her Crab and Shrimp boil and loved it! The food was literally so good that we ate until we were full and then kept eating more. Also if you love crispy fries, get the fries! The food, drinks, environment, and service was just way better than I expected. I would 100% come back again and again because it was indeed yummy!!!

My husband and I came for lunch today, I had a lobster tail with corn & potatoes. My husband had crab legs and shrimp. The food was absolutely delicious, we also had crab cakes forgot about those. First time there today for my sister birthday,we came from San Antonio. The atmosphere was amazing as was the young lady that greeted us upon walking in and seating us. Our waiter Seth was so awesome and helpful in helping us decide on our choices of food. He made us feel like we were all one big happy family in their establishment. The food was delicious, I most definitely would come back with the rest of my family and recommend it to other friends and family members as well. Oh no the cheesecake was banging!!!! The prevailing flavor is garlic. This place makes me think of my time in the Midwest. Garlic covers an abundance of mediocre cooking. We got Cajun/hot. What garlic (strong garlic flavor) has to do with Cajun I don t understand. It was definitely not hot either. I ve enjoyed seafood all over the country as well as other countries. This is not good. Sorry. I really wanted it to be good.

I was blown away at how dead they was when we walked in but didn t really think much of it . There was 4 adults and 2 toddlers. The waitress was very nice and attentive but the food came out two at a time ten minutes apart and the kids food and appetizers literally came out after some of the food was delivered. I ordered a fried combo basket and a house salad with ranch and the salad was the last thing delivered to the table. The ranch was absolutely disgusting it tasted like the took an off brand of Heinz s ranch and added a little vinegar to it . The fried food was really close to burned . When the check came we figured out why they was as dead as they was for a Saturday night ,, they automatically added $30.00 in gratuity. We will never be back just because of that alone. I can t imagine they ll be open much longer .

I hate to leave a bad review especially with it being a smaller place and would rather leave no review at all, but I litterally threw up at the table and swallowed my throw up as fast as possible. I ordered crawfish and it just was not right at all. Possibly frozen, rubbery, not seasoned correctly, I do not think boiled possibly steamed. The waiting staff was kind and timely with sitting us and getting our order to us, no issues there.

I wont eat shrimp boil from anywhere else! They have a perfect portion for the lunch special and the taste is always on point! The only thing I miss is them opening the bag for you lol but its okay to get messy anyways! We walked in and there was no one at the reception station. We waited for a while until finally a man cut through the bar and ask the employees if they were going to help us and they just ignored him. The man came around the bar and said to follow him! No hello or how are you. Took us to a table to be seated. We waited a while longer with employees running all around but no one acknowledged we were there! Finally the man came back and got our drink order and brought them to us. He then asked if we knew what we wanted? He pulls out a sticky note and looks for something to write with. He takes our order and disappears for a while! After about 45 minutes a lady brings us out seafood boil and sets it on the table then walks off and said she was going to get us some plates. After about 5 minutes she comes back with the plates lays them on the table and walks off. She didn t ask if we needed anything or offer to help shake the bag or anything. We shook our bag and opened it ourselves. It looked and smelled really good. We ordered; Seafood Boil with 1 lb. Snow Crab Legs, 3 lbs Shrimp, Corn on the Cob, extra Potatoes, and 1 lb. Sausage. We ordered a side of Rice and 4 Hard Boiled Eggs! All looked good but they forgot the eggs! It took several minutes to get anyone s attention. We finally waved down an employee and told her we didn t have a waitress and didn t get our eggs. She apologized and got out Hard Boiled Eggs and then a lady came up finally and told us she would be our waitress. She took care of us for the rest of our visit. The food was good and we really enjoyed it. Except for the beginning it was good. I ll be back. Give it a try if you like Seafood Boils!

Had the boil honestly was not impressed with it. Quantity was good, but holy smokes didnt expect the food to be swimming in butter. That right there ruined it for me barely could even taste the seasoning. Yet alone, the shrimp craw fish or the lobster tail just tasted like butter. I would not recommend their boil. Will return and try the fried stuff, but the boil is definitely a no-go. Wouldnt waste my money on it again. Craw fish express is still the winner in boils

The food is excellent. However, portion size is disappointing (and I m not someone who eats huge portions). Ordered the lunch portion and got one small potato and about a third of an ear of corn along with my reasonable portion of crab legs. My friend ordered the dinner portion and got only one potato. I am not sure where to start. The shrimp in the bag headless shrimp is sitting in juice that is only hot, not seasoned. The shrimp are not seasoned. The corn is not sweet, the potatoes were great, however the juice in the bag with the headless shrimp is to watery. I also ordered shrimp fried rice, again the shrimp are not seasoned, the rice tasted like plain white rice. I was disappointed.

Service was great, but the food wasn t. We ordered the shrimp, snow crab, and the crawfish. The snow crab was the only edible thing. My fiance ordered mild and I ordered extra hot. The extra wasn t hot at all and both of our bags were full of butter and barely any seasonings making it hard to eat. It tasted like we were bitting into a stick of butter with every bite. The crawfish was horrible, I love crawfish and can eat about 5 pounds by myself, but it tasted old and I wasted 2 whole pounds which isn t cheap. We should have known it wasn t gonna be that good when we walked in and only saw 1 or 2 couples in the dining area. We will not be coming back, we would rather drive to Waco to eat at Tajun Cajun!

Mothers Day was crabby this year. Yummy Crab comes off the checklist. We had some good food, but if we ever come back, maybe we would not get the unusuals; like the shrimp fried rice. Just stick to the Cajun stuff! The menu is pretty good. The service was friendly too, but they were short staffed. Plus, there were a few things our waitress kept forgetting. Anyway in this town, if you want Cajun seafood then this would be one of the only choices.

Went here because its new and we wanted to try it and we had a coupon. The restaurant is in a good location and cute interior. Service was fantastic. My shrimp fried rice was better than I expected it to be. Brought my inlaws here instead of driving all the way to Waco & we were all pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. Extremely clean facility & nicely decorated. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area wanting some Cajun food. Nice selection of food as well.

We got seated right away but they were not busy at all. Waited 15 minutes just to have the waitress come over and let us know she had only been there about 2 weeks so she was still new at this. 10 min later we get our drinks. And she takes our order. My boyfriend ordered the mild seasoning and I got garlic butter. About 30 min later we get our food and his was so spicy he could not eat it and he can take spice for sure. Waitress offered to take 10 percent off the bill . That was not happening at all. Manager came told him that was not mild at all and he finally agreed to fix it. There were 3 other tables that complained about the spice being way to hot and that there was no way it was a mild one. Mine had way to much garlic in it and was all bland tasting. They are way over priced for the food you get and the bland taste or way to spicy. Now the young waitress was trying her best and after all the complaining from all the tables broke down crying. She was not at fault at all and was very sweet. She could use alittle more training but over all she was good. I felt really bad for her.

Ordered the catfish plate and have to say it had no flavor, for sure wasn t catfish and had redness to pinkest spots on the fish fillets. The shrimp was good other then that and staff friendly too. I don t know bout going back because I ordered catfish and honestly idk what type of fish it was. I recommend everyone to go try RUSTY SHELL in Belton and their seafood is way lot better then this nasty place to eat. I had the L2 lunch special (crawfish) for $11 and a mixed drink. The drink was really good, and my service was excellent. The flavor and spice on my crawfish was great. Only complaint would be the serving size. There were only 8 total crawfish on my platter (not a chance it was even close to 1 pound) for crawfish that is definitely not enough, when priced per pound they usually go for $8-$10 per pound so for $11 to be that small of a portion I was slightly disappointed.

Seafood boil was very good but for the price you should at least get more than 1 potatoe.I got 1 pound of snow crab which was 2 not so large clusters $7.50 for added sausage and 1 corn on the cob and 1 baby potato.
